Chapter 99: Chapter 97: Top 10 Experts in the World

Chen Sha observed the two most important layers of cultivation techniques in the *Celestial Demon Strategy*, naturally aligning them with the Divine Spirits of the Great Yellow Court. With a slight shift in his aura, he felt his nose, skin, eyes, and tongue faintly twitching all at once.

It seemed as though the Divine Spirits resided right in those twitching spots.

"This is a truly unexpected delight. Having obtained this *Celestial Demon Strategy*, as long as I receive some True Qi rewards from the Cosmic Light Fragments, I will be able to cultivate the four Great Divine Spirits in a very short time..."

Having received the cultivation technique from the woman before him—who also happened to be his biological mother—Chen Sha cast aside any reservations and bowed respectfully.

Yun Shouxuan’s eyes revealed deep affection. "I owe you too much over the years. What do two volumes of the *Celestial Demon Strategy* even count for? If you ask me for anything, Mother will get it back for you."

Inexperienced in handling such heavy affection, Chen Sha said, "Since you’ve already come up the mountain, let’s go visit my father’s grave."

He could tell from her tone that she didn’t believe his father had actually passed away. He could only take her along to pay respects. He believed that once she saw the grave, even if she felt devastated, she would have to accept the reality. The departed were gone, and the living had to continue living.

"Alright, let’s go see your father."

Yun Shouxuan stood up and withdrew the Demon Gallbladder back into her sleeve. Turning to Mo Ziming, she said, "You have done a great service in opening the Ink Cartridge for me. If you desire any reward, just ask directly at the Celestial Destiny Palace. Now, you may head down the mountain."

Mo Ziming bowed deeply. "Thank you, Sect Leader Yun. I shall take my leave."

He let out a massive sigh of relief in his heart. Having stayed by Yun Shouxuan’s side for a whole year to open the Asura Treasure Box for this ruthless Demon Queen, he had lived every day in terror and torment. Now that he was finally free, his entire body felt light.

He then turned and bowed to Chen Sha. "Sect Leader Chen, I, Mo, bid you farewell."

"Take care." Chen Sha nodded with his hands clasped behind his back. He could tell that this eccentric artisan was merely a tool his mother had forcibly tied to her side to open the treasure box.

At the grave forest behind Dao Yi Mountain.

The bodies of past generations of Dao Yi Mountain’s ancestors rested here, each marked with a stone stele. As Chen Canxuan had been the Sect Leader, his stele and tomb were exceedingly special.

When Chen Sha brought Yun Shouxuan here, she stared blankly at the moderately-sized earthen mound and its inscription: *Tomb of the Late Father, Lord Canxuan of the Chen Clan. Erected by the Unfilial Son, Chen Sha*.

Unable to help herself, she slowly stepped forward and reached out to touch the inscription. "Your father is buried right under here?"

She murmured subconsciously, "I still don’t believe it, unless..."

Before coming up the mountain, she had mentally prepared herself to see nothing but a cold, earthen grave. Yet, upon seeing it with her own eyes...

Chen Sha noticed her emotions were becoming extremely unstable.

WHOOSH! WHOOSH!!

Suddenly, he felt Yun Shouxuan’s terrifying Celestial Demon Aura about to erupt right in front of his father’s grave.

BOOM!!

"What are you doing?" Chen Sha immediately shouted, realizing her intentions. "Don’t tell me you want to open the grave and inspect the coffin? That crosses the line!"

BOOM!

However, Yun Shouxuan’s aura had already erupted. As if unwilling to listen to Chen Sha at all, she wore a look of absolute resolve and was about to strike the ground with her palm!

WHOOSH, WHOOSH, WHOOSH!

In an instant, a majestic aura swept through the grave forest. The air surged like rolling tidal waves, gathering vigorously toward Yun Shouxuan’s palm!

Just as her strike was about to crash down, Chen Sha took a step forward. The terrifying Cultivation of his Innate Great Yellow Court gathered boundlessly between his fingers as he urgently grabbed Yun Shouxuan’s wrist.

"That’s enough!" he said through gritted teeth. "Don’t force me to fight you!"

BOOM!

Feeling the extremely powerful Great Yellow Court aura on her wrist, Yun Shouxuan was momentarily dazed. She then looked at Chen Sha in astonishment, a flash of marvel and disbelief crossing her eyes.

"Even though I knew you single-handedly wiped out all the experts of the First-Grade Hall, Sha’Er, and advanced your Great Yellow Court to the Great Innate Realm, I still didn’t expect... that you would possess such Power!"

Although his Realm might be slightly inferior to hers as the Celestial Demon Sect Master—who ranked sixth in the world—in terms of pure Power alone, even she fell short.

She let out a distracted smile. "Originally, no matter what, I had made up my mind. After ascending Dao Yi Mountain, I had to personally open your father’s grave and see for myself. But..."

Looking at the seething True Qi surging all over Chen Sha’s body, she sighed. "In the end, I miscalculated. I didn’t expect my Sha’Er to possess the ability to stop me."

Chen Sha said coldly, "The departed are gone. This grave and stele are the last shreds of dignity he has left in this world. If you attempt to desecrate his resting place, then even if you are my biological mother, do not blame me for disregarding our ties!"

Yun Shouxuan fell into a daze. Originally, even if Zhou Santong had tried to stop her, she wouldn’t have cared, dead set on seeing the truth for herself. Yet, the one capable of stopping her was none other than Chen Sha.

Looking at his somber expression, the sorrow in her eyes deepened.

"...Let go." A trace of loneliness surfaced in the corners of Yun Shouxuan’s eyes. "I won’t do anything else..."

Hearing this, Chen Sha released her hand.

"I can tell you," he said, "that when my father passed away, I was right there in front of him. I listened to his final instructions before he finally breathed his last. And during his burial, I watched the entire process as he was laid to rest here. It is absolutely impossible for it to be a fake."

Even if the number one Martial Artist in the world had died far too young, some things were witnessed with one’s own eyes. No matter how much one refused to believe it, they simply had to accept it.
