My Reconstruction Talent is too OP!!!
Chapter 180: Truth
Seeing that Kaiser was ignoring him, Kevin suddenly slammed his hand on the desk.
Bam!
"Bitch, look at me when I’m talking to you!"
Kaiser slowly turned his head and glanced at the aura surrounding Kevin.
"Having a Lesser Rule has made you arrogant again, huh?"
Kevin’s expression changed, and the students around him exchanged confused looks.
"How do you know it’s a Rule?" Kevin asked suspiciously.
Kevin hadn’t explicitly told him that this power was related to Rules. Moreover, according to his parents, revealing certain information to people who hadn’t taken the oath was a serious offense.
"How do I know? That’s something you don’t need to worry about."
Kevin’s face darkened.
"How do you know about Rules?" he demanded again.
"Like I said, you don’t need to know."
Kaiser leaned back in his chair, looking completely unconcerned.
Kevin suddenly burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! Your parents told you about it, right?"
He grinned maliciously at Kaiser.
"Well, they’re all dead now. Revealing sensitive information to someone who hasn’t taken the oath is a capital sin."
Kaiser looked at him strangely.
’A capital sin? No wonder they couldn’t tell me anything.’
"They didn’t tell me," Kaiser replied calmly.
"Lies! How else would you know about Rules? You can’t even find information about them on the internet unless you search for something very specific!"
Kevin looked at him suspiciously, clearly unconvinced.
Kaiser shook his head. Information about Rules on the internet was mostly treated as rumors and myths. Although their existence wasn’t exactly a secret, reliable details about them were difficult to find.
’There must be something else going on here involving Rules,’ he thought.
"Unlike you, I didn’t need the academy’s help to comprehend a Rule. I encountered someone who possessed that power in the Cosmic World," Kaiser said casually.
The moment he said that, the surrounding students fell silent.
Several of them stared at him in disbelief.
"How are you even alive, then?" one student blurted out.
They knew how dangerous it was to encounter someone who possessed a Rule without having one of their own. The difference in power could be enormous, and confronting such an opponent often meant risking one’s life.
Yet Kaiser was calmly claiming that he had encountered someone who possessed a Rule and survived the encounter.
Kevin’s expression changed, but he quickly shook his head.
"Shut up! He probably saw someone using that power from a distance. That’s all!"
Kevin clearly refused to believe that Kaiser could have survived a direct encounter with someone who possessed a Rule.
Kaiser merely shrugged.
"Hmm, since you’re so curious, I’ll tell you something else. I killed someone who had comprehended a Rule. And let me tell you, it was a Greater Rule of Corruption. Your little Lesser Rule doesn’t even come close to matching it."
He smiled at Kevin.
"Lies! You’re lying!" Kevin shouted immediately.
Kaiser tilted his head.
"Why would I lie about something like that?"
Kevin’s face reddened with anger. Flames flickered around his body as the power of his Lesser Rule of Fire began to manifest.
"You—"
Before he could finish speaking, another voice interrupted him.
"What is going on here?"
Kevin immediately turned toward the classroom entrance.
Alicia was standing there alongside the academy’s principal.
The moment Kevin saw them, his expression changed. He took a step back and quickly suppressed the flames surrounding his body.
The principal glanced around the classroom before turning his attention toward Kaiser and Alex.
"Kaiser Storm and Alexander Keynes, come with me."
Kaiser exchanged a glance with Alex before standing up.
As they approached the entrance, Alicia looked at them curiously.
"Do you two know what this is about?" she asked quietly.
Kaiser and Alex shook their heads.
"No idea," Kaiser replied.
Alicia studied their expressions for a moment before sighing.
"Then I suppose we’ll find out together."
With that, the three of them followed the principal out of the classroom.
The principal led Kaiser, Alex, and Alicia through several corridors before stopping in front of a historic-looking door.
Before opening it, he turned toward the three students.
"Be mindful of your words inside. Someone important from the association is waiting for you."
The three nodded, and the principal opened the door.
Inside, they found a woman sitting comfortably on a sofa, sipping tea. She appeared calm and elegant, showing no signs of impatience despite having waited for them.
But Alex and Kaiser easily sensed the hidden power of rules around her.
’She have multiple of them’ Alex and Kaiser thought in awe and horror.
The moment the principal saw her, he nodded respectfully.
"Lady Alexa, these are the three students I mentioned. They were occupied with their class trials and couldn’t come earlier."
Lady Alexa nodded.
"It’s fine. Having classes early in their journey is better anyway."
She placed her teacup on the table and stood up, looking at the three students.
"You three must be Kaiser Storm, Alexander Keynes, and Alicia, correct?"
"Yes," the three replied.
Lady Alexa nodded before gesturing toward the chairs in front of her.
"Please, sit down. Before we begin, I need all three of you to sign this."
She placed three documents on the table and handed one to each of them.
Kaiser glanced through the document. It was a simple restrictive contract that prohibited them from revealing anything they learned from Lady Alexa to anyone who hadn’t taken the oath.
After reading it carefully, all three signed their respective documents.
Lady Alexa collected the contracts and placed them aside.
"Good. Now that this matter is settled, I can tell you about the history that has been hidden from ordinary people."
She sat down again, and the three students focused their attention on her.
"You already know about the emergence of the Cosmic World and the awakening of the Cosmic System, correct?"
The three nodded.
"But what you don’t know is that these events also brought something else to our world."
Lady Alexa paused briefly before continuing.
"An alien race began invading us."
The expressions of the three students changed.
"An alien race?" Alex asked, surprised.
"We are being invaded?" Alicia asked.
’Damn, its one of those Apocalypse scenario’ Kaiser thought.
Lady Alexa nodded.
"We call them the Astralians. They are beings who possess powers related to the stars and celestial forces. Their abilities are extraordinarily powerful, and their strongest members possess strength that ordinary humans can barely imagine."
