Chapter 2884: Chapter 962: Peacemaker—Blade of the Peach Knight

Moss Valley... Uh, no, over here on the Creation Plains.

Although the God Slayer players have all retreated back to the Maginot Line, the brothers of the Grey Wolf Army are still stationed here. A few days ago, Lady Triss came over and gave the Werewolf players a task. She wants to use the collapsing Divine Kingdom of The Master of Hunting to conduct a mysterious Spiritual Energy experiment, so she’s asked the Werewolves to search every nook and cranny of the collapsing kingdom once more.

This task isn’t difficult because the Divine Kingdom is continuously shrinking, and its internal area is already very small. Mooncraze, along with his buddies, quickly searched out everything that could be picked up, and then the Divine Kingdom fragments were sealed by Lady Triss with a swirling azure cloud.

Players didn’t understand what Lady Triss was doing, but that didn’t stop them from dividing the spoils on the spot.

Various odds and ends were strewn all over the place, looking quite shabby, like when an old man sets up a stall to sell antiques. But considering that these things were directly taken out of the Divine Kingdom, calling them "Divine Artifacts" shouldn’t be a problem.

"Sir Murphy should be a bit more gentle; look at this pile of junk, even I feel embarrassed,"

Fure Immortal, who was squatting on the ground swinging his tail, complained as he counted the loot:

"He was too forceful and shattered these things. Although they are all rather rare oddities, now they’re basically only useful as raw materials for manufacturing players."

"Be content."

The Head Lion Beast next to him, leaning on a cool bone katana, a stalk of sweet grass in his mouth, with a cloak draped over his shoulder, said while smirking:

"If it weren’t for Sir Murphy hitting with such force on The Master of Hunting at that time, we would’ve been finished. There would be no chance for you to pick and choose here. Besides, honestly speaking, just getting those Divine Bones is enough to cover the return trip.

These are ’customizable Divine Artifacts.’

I bet by the time this game shuts down, there won’t be many who have such things.

But how to craft them is quite a problem.

I asked on the forum, and the Broken Sword Master said they don’t dare to take on such work; they lack confidence in their skills, so we’d better get an NPC to do it. I heard the player brothers in Transylvania are already contacting the Silver Dwarfs.

The Gaia Temple agreed to help, but we need to send someone from Silver Fort over. I guess we’ll also have to make a trip to Crimson Castle when the time comes."

"Hey, after finishing the Black Disaster DLC’s postlude plot, there will definitely be quest guides before the next version opens, so there’s no need to rush such things."

Fure Immortal snorted and said:

"Let the brothers in Transylvania lead the way for us first... Come, lend a hand, and let’s see what happens if we pull it out."

He pointed to the half-buried peculiar blood-colored crystal hidden beneath the scorched earth near the Divine Kingdom’s edge. It looked bizarrely like a strange carrot, and the two of them quickly teamed up to pull it out.

When The Master of Hunting’s Divine Kingdom expanded previously, the subspace forces colliding with the material world’s rocky earth created many such odd blood-colored crystals, and they grew all over Moss Valley. However, Sir Murphy’s strike with God’s Scepter was so powerful, it destroyed 99% of these accompaniments.

This one underfoot should be the only remnant.

"So, what the heck is this?"

Curious, Fure Immortal tapped on the strange crystal and said to the equally curious Head Lion Beast:

"Item Identification can’t detect any attributes. I feel it might have attributes similar to Burning Gold. Should we take it back and let the Psychics have a look? Maybe we’ll discover that hidden achievement of a new material."

The Lion Beast didn’t say anything, just looked at the object underfoot with a suspicious glance. Just as it was about to speak, a commotion from outside was heard. It sounded like the Werewolves were yelling, but when they got there, they found their clan’s Barbarian Soldiers gathered around a strange thing marveling at it.

Other Werewolf players were also gathered, discussing animatedly.

Fure Immortal squeezed in for a look and saw a wondrous blood-colored orb of light bouncing and swirling in a pit by Mooncraze’s feet, slowly forming.

"Damn! Isn’t this the state of those Hunting War Spirits when they revive?"

Fure Immortal realized after a few seconds and shouted loudly:

"Quick! Grab your weapons! There’s a straggler here; kill it before it fully revives!"

"Don’t rush, let’s see what’s happening! The Master of Hunting is dead, so how could there possibly be any Hunting War Spirit reviving here? Are you stupid?"

Mooncraze shouted, pressing down on the Werewolf Barbarian Soldiers who had already drawn their weapons.

He scolded them to stand back, and everyone watched the pit’s blood light nervously as it fully formed within seconds, when Grey Big Wolf, peeking out from the crowd, suddenly shouted:

"Damn! Isn’t this Big Black? Little Brother Fu’s Minotaur warrior! I remembered clearly, Little Brother Fu outfitted it in a set of extravagant Dwarven armor, and he was lamenting about his Minotaur being killed on the forum, feeling deeply upset or something.

But how come it came back to life?"

The other Werewolves were now completely baffled, including Big Black, the Minotaur climbing out of the pit, looking around scratching its head, utterly confused about what had happened to it. Its eyes scanned the crowd, clearly seeking its owner’s figure.
