Chapter 2861: Chapter 954: Field Marshall Hass, the Future Is in Your Hands—Don’t Let It Down! (Part 2)

Either bring peace or be buried in Shadow Valley as the last sacrifice.

This is the duty our generation of Wolf People must bear."

"Wow, that’s very impressive, Nash, you’ve really surprised me!"

Little Wei Ming exclaimed:

"I’ve always viewed you as Hog 2.0, but now I realize you have a presence of your own, truly remarkable!"

"Of course, as I am the chieftain of Blood Claw."

Nash chuckled, then mounted his Throne Wolf, and with just four guards, set off on the mountain path to Shadow Valley under the gaze of others.

Though he appeared confident, as he traversed the cave leading into the mountain, his heart was pounding with uncertainty. As for his four guards, they were even less composed, despite being the elite of the Bloodclaw Clan, they lacked confidence when facing the stronger brethren of the Dark Mountain Range.

"Stand tall, you represent the face of the Bloodclaw Clan and Lord Hog!"

Nash scolded, inspiring his guards to behave somewhat more appropriately.

However, as they passed through the cave, a flying signal arrow heralded an impending attack, and upon seeing ferocious Barbarian Soldiers charging from the darkness, the four guards screamed and fled, dropping the Bloodclaw Clan’s banner, forcing Nash to grab it himself.

Their performance was nothing short of a disaster.

It seems Lord Hog was right, strength is not something the little ones like them should pursue.

"State your name and purpose!"

A deep roar sounded from ahead, with weapons pointed all around him, Nash shivered to suppress his urine, and called out in a trembling voice:

"I come on behalf of the Wise Wolf, representing Transylvania and Governor Murphy, and also representing the Grand Marshal Huggesen! Have Field Marshall Hass meet me, I bring the final words of Sir Huggesen."

"Shut up! Weak little runt, don’t unsettle our military spirit here! I think you need to be chopped to pieces!"

The rough voice was extremely angry, as a fully armed giant rushed over, pulling Nash off the Throne Wolf and landing several punches, making Nash dizzy.

Yet he still screamed:

"I have a letter from General Huggesen in my arms, you can kill... No, you can’t kill me! In war, one does not kill emissaries! You, immediately take this letter to your Military Governor! Don’t be foolish, you fools, I don’t believe you haven’t heard that the Master of Hunting is dead.

The Black Disaster has failed, there are angry Transia People outside just waiting for you to make a mistake, giving them the chance to charge in and slaughter you all.

Field Marshall Hass surely warned you not to kill, right? Otherwise, you wouldn’t have greeted me with just your fists earlier."

"Shut up! Shut up!"

The Junior Warlord at the frontline was enraged, biting his teeth, ready to draw his sword and kill the audacious little runt, but was held back by several Wolf People beside him.

Because Field Marshall Hass indeed issued similar orders.

"Ha, ha, I guessed right."

Nash, with a bruised and bloody face, grinned, saying:

"What are you waiting for? Send the letter in my arms back, you can’t make decisions on such big matters. Listen to me, compatriots, lay down your weapons, you won’t need them anymore."

"We will never be dogs for Transylvania!"

The Junior Warlord cursed fiercely:

"We would rather die here."

"No one is asking you to die, the other side of the Dark Mountain Range needs many laborers to build a capital for our kingdom."

Nash mocked:

"Don’t worry, you won’t go to Transylvania, even as captives."

"I warn you, little runt, stop provoking us!"

An army Priest couldn’t stand it anymore.

He stepped between Nash and the enraged Military Governor, retrieved the letter written by Huggesen for Murphy from Nash’s arms. With one glance in the dark, the Priest shivered despite taking the letter back to the valley himself. Ten minutes later, a direct order from Field Marshall Hass arrived.

He wanted to see Nash.

The bruised little chieftain, like a victor general, mounted his equally bruised Throne Wolf, swaggering in with his four embarrassed but now smug guards, under the escort of a group of burly Dark Mountain Wolf People’s guards, into the heavily guarded valley.

Under the not-so-warm sunlight, Nash saw the scene inside the valley.

This made him draw a breath in shock.

The valley can accommodate at most ten thousand people, but now it’s crowded with a hundred thousand elderly, women, and children, a chaotic situation.

Though many Wolf People have been assigned to live in tunnels, it couldn’t hide the embarrassing situation of Shadow Valley at the moment. Not all Wolf People were here before, even Hass wouldn’t be crazy enough to gather everyone in such a terrain with no escape.

Surely after the Master of Hunting’s demise, he sensed danger which led to this desperate gathering.

Nash saw the frail females lying on either side of the road with their whining hungry pups, while some Barbarian Soldiers silently carried away the deceased elderly for burial, cooking skinned Gnolls in the pots.

No wonder there’s no sight of the traditional army of Wolf People’s servants here.
