Chapter 139: Chapter 138: I Don’t Want This Dirty and Stupid Body

Aragon, a disciple of Gandalf from ten thousand years ago, had traveled through time to this world?

When news of Aragon reached Jade City, Fiona, a Time Traveler and the reigning star of the Gentleman’s Club, was completely stunned.

If it weren’t for the bizarre rumor that Gandalf had invented sanitary napkins, she might have believed it was true. After all, a Gandalf really did exist in this world...

But now, she was certain. That black-haired, black-eyed Aragon was a Time Traveler, just like her.

And a Time Traveler from the Eastern World, no less!

Dammit!

A Time Traveler from the Eastern World had entered this world along with her!

And he was even lying about being Gandalf’s disciple...

Was he banking on the people of this world not having read *Magic Ring*? Did he think they didn’t know who Tolkien was?

The man had some serious nerve!

...

Due to differences in skin color and language, it was difficult for Western and Eastern Time Travelers to blend into each other’s worlds.

Compared to the rest of the world, they were outsiders. Unfortunately, a Time Traveler had no control over which world they ended up in.

Pandora Headquarters’ solution to this was to act with a low profile, starting small and gradually integrating into the Eastern World...

But this young man from the East was far too bold. He had established a high-profile origin story for himself right from the start, and the most crucial part was, he’d actually succeeded.

Admittedly, his method was quite clever.

No one knew what people from ten thousand years ago looked like or what their accents sounded like. He had cleverly used this to perfectly resolve the issues of his appearance and accent.

’If I ever make it back, I’ll definitely report this method to Pandora Headquarters,’ she thought. ’Maybe I can get some kind of reward for it.’

Although she admired the Time Traveler from the Eastern World, Fiona still felt a headache coming on. She was even a little anxious.

She knew the inside story of Pandora’s Box and the Demon Suppression Tower. Only by combining the two could all the Demon Qi be suppressed, restoring peace to Earth.

Fiona had always considered herself a rational and peace-loving person.

She believed that in the face of a planetary disaster, all of humanity should set aside their differences and work together to overcome the crisis. The East and West should join forces to fight the demons.

But the deep-seated arrogance and prejudice Westerners held toward the East prevented this plan from ever coming to fruition.

The majority at Pandora Headquarters believed they should use overwhelming Martial Force to seize the Demon Suppression Tower and control the entire world.

In their eyes, the appearance of Pandora’s Box didn’t just signify disaster; it also signified evolution.

Through Pandora’s Box, humanity could transcend its current technology and take the next step, reviving the glories of the mythological era. Just like the X-Men, those who ultimately survived would be the new human race.

Furthermore, there was another theory circulating at Pandora Headquarters.

Pandora’s Box was a game created by a Divine Spirit. The Divine Spirit had set the rules, wanting to see them fight against the Eastern World’s Demon Suppression Tower. If they defied the Divine Spirit’s will, they would incur its wrath and bring an even greater disaster upon the Earth.

Because of this, the Time Travelers from the East and West were destined to be enemies.

...

Fiona had no desire whatsoever to be enemies with that Time Traveler from the Eastern World.

She was a Time Traveler who had already been through one transmigration.

In the last world, the demonic item she possessed was a stethoscope, and she had successfully awakened two Derived Skills.

One was Truth Discernment, which allowed her to easily tell if someone was speaking the truth or lying.

The other was Auditory Enhancement. Like the Night Demon Hero, Matt Murdock, her hearing could easily cover an entire city.

With the help of these two abilities, she had successfully evaded pursuit from that world’s Demon Qi and had even secretly learned quite a few skills.

After a month here, Fiona had already confirmed that the Skeleton Monarch sweeping across the world was the Demon Qi she was supposed to eliminate.

The Skeleton Monarch’s power drove her to despair.

Fiona had long since decided to do the same thing she did in the last world: hide behind human lines for a year and then wait to be summoned back by Pandora’s Box.

’Only a fool would try to eliminate the Skeleton Monarch!’

’It’d be even more perfect if I could unlock a few Derived Skills in the process.’

But who would have known that besides the Skeleton Monarch, an Aragon from the Eastern World would suddenly pop up? Fiona felt like her luck was absolutely terrible.

Aragon’s battle record was as glorious as his reputation. He had easily defeated a Forbidden Mage right after appearing—he was definitely no novice.

’If I run into him, I’m finished.’

Fiona didn’t dare bet on Aragon being as rational as she was. A Time Traveler from the Eastern World would surely stop at nothing to get rid of her.

What’s more, she had been in this world for a month and still hadn’t awakened a single Derived Skill.

...

"God, please, don’t let that man from the East find me. Let him go duel the Skeleton Monarch!" Fiona clutched her Little Leather Whip to her chest, closed her eyes, and prayed.

That’s right.

The demonic item she possessed in this world was the Little Leather Whip in her hand—the kind that’s often used along with candles.

To maximize the Little Leather Whip’s effects, she had gone so far as to join Jade City’s largest club—the Gentleman’s Club.

In just one short month, she had become the Gentleman’s Club’s most popular geisha, causing many dignitaries and influential figures to become infatuated with her, completely under her spell.

Now, her influence was no longer confined to Jade City; it had spread to several surrounding towns as well.

"The Undead could attack at any moment. Once you become one of them, you can’t feel any pleasure at all. With the limited time we have in this life, we should seize the day and enjoy ourselves."

This was the slogan Fiona promoted publicly, and it had won the approval of many.

Of course, it was also her personal creed.

Being a Time Traveler was a dangerous profession. You either got corrupted by a demonic item and lost your sanity, or you died in an Otherworld.

Her life might very well be even shorter than that of the people in this world. So why not enjoy it to the fullest?

Now, Fiona had a new title: Succubus.

She had obtained the news about Aragon from these very same dignitaries and influential figures.

"Beings of Demon Qi can’t pinpoint each other’s locations. I hope Aragon can’t find me." Fiona gripped her Little Leather Whip and made a second wish.

"Fiona, Count Richard is waiting for you. He hopes you can go over right away," a maid called out after knocking on her door.

"Alright, I know," Fiona replied, standing up to go greet her guest.

Although she didn’t want to run into Aragon, she still wanted to become stronger. After all, Earth was a dangerous place too.

Her body, modified by Demon Qi, was practically immune to any virus. She could play around as much as she wanted without worrying about getting sick, or even getting pregnant. It was absolutely incredible.

’The bodies of men from this Otherworld are amazing!’

Thinking of the pleasure that awaited her, Fiona instantly cast all thoughts of Aragon to the back of her mind.

She walked over to her dressing table and began beautifully touching up her makeup in the mirror. She had to greet every client in her most perfect state.

"What a foolish woman." A mocking voice, filled with contempt, suddenly echoed in her mind.

"Who—who’s talking?" Fiona’s hand, in the middle of applying lipstick, froze. she cried out in alarm.

"Keep your voice down, you stupid woman. I’m just about sick of you," the voice continued in her head. "You disgust me."

"Who are you?" Fiona asked, her voice trembling as she scanned her surroundings.

"It’s me. The whip in your hand," said the Little Leather Whip.

"You can talk?" Fiona’s eyes widened. In her panic, she dropped the whip on the floor. "You... you’re not trying to corrupt my mind, are you?"

"Pick me up," the whip’s voice continued. "Idiot. I would never possess a body so full of disgusting energy. It’s nauseating."

"..." Fiona paused for a moment, then picked the whip back up. Her eyes darted around. "So, you’re sure you won’t corrupt my mind?"

"Too filthy," the Little Leather Whip replied curtly.

"Well, that’s a pleasant surprise," Fiona suddenly laughed. "No wonder so many Time Travelers get corrupted while I’ve been perfectly fine. It seems I’ve found a good way to resist the corruption of Demon Qi. Maybe I should tell everyone about this method."

"Idiot," the Little Leather Whip snorted. "Not every demonic item is a clean freak like me."

"Fiona, what are you doing? His Lordship the Count is getting impatient," the maid urged, suddenly pushing the door open and looking at Fiona in front of the mirror.

"Rui Xi, tell the Count to wait another five minutes for me. I need to cleanse my body," Fiona said, turning to the maid with an apologetic smile. "I must receive His Lordship with a clean body."

"Fine, but you’d better be quick." The maid shook her head, left, and closed the door behind her.

"Little Leather Whip, are all of you sentient?" Fiona pricked up her ears, listening to the sounds outside as she questioned the whip in her hand.

"Yes," said the Little Leather Whip. "You stupid woman, you’d better not tell anyone I’ve regained my consciousness. Otherwise, I wouldn’t mind possessing your body. Compared to losing my freedom, a slightly filthy body isn’t entirely unbearable."

"Of course. I respect your choice. Everyone deserves their own freedom," Fiona said, looking at the whip in her hand excitedly. "Since you like freedom, how about I call you Fury?"

"Whatever you want," said the Little Leather Whip.

"Alright, Fury, why didn’t you speak before?" Fiona was a little thrilled that the demonic item could suddenly communicate with her.

"Because I didn’t want to talk to you," said the Little Leather Whip.

"I think it’s because you were afraid I’d expose you!" Fiona chuckled and asked, "So why start talking all of a sudden?"

"Because if I didn’t speak up, you, you stupid woman, were going to get me killed," said the Little Leather Whip. "There are three other powerful sources of Demon Qi in this world, and all you can think about is hiding..."

"Three?" Fiona was stunned, her face turning deathly pale. "One for Aragon, one for the Skeleton Monarch... besides them, there’s another source of Demon Qi?"

"Yes," the Little Leather Whip said irritably. "Scared now? Then why aren’t you figuring out a way to make me stronger? Those with Demon Qi grow stronger by devouring each other. Sooner or later, they’ll come for us. I have no intention of getting killed because of you, you stupid woman."

"You can all sense each other?" With her life on the line, Fiona’s expression finally turned serious.

"Yes. The moment you arrived in this world, the other two sources of Demon Qi knew," said the Little Leather Whip. "And if we get close enough, we can sense each other’s location."

"Oh my god, I never knew any of this..." Fiona gasped. She picked up the Little Leather Whip and started applying her lipstick again. "It looks like I have to get stronger as fast as possible. Fury, you’ll help me, right?"

"Mm," said the Little Leather Whip.

"Then what’s the way to make you all stronger?" Fiona asked, trying to make the most of her time.

"Expand my fame and influence," said the Little Leather Whip.

Fiona’s movements froze again. With a miserable look on her face, she asked, "But if we expand your fame, won’t we be exposed?

Dammit, now I finally understand why Aragon is using Gandalf’s reputation to promote sanitary napkins.

A man actually chose sanitary napkins as his demonic item... Is he some kind of pervert?"

"..." The Little Leather Whip was speechless. "Idiot, you have to get stronger, even if it’s just to survive. As long as you’re stronger than him, he’ll be the one avoiding you. Do you want to die or not?"

’Like hell I want to die!’

Perhaps the thought of death spurred Fiona into action. She took a deep breath and brandished the whip in her hand. "Alright! Fury, I’ll listen to you. I will use my Whip of Desire to conquer more men. Maybe I should take a page from Aragon’s book... It’s time to let more people enjoy the beauty of desire..."
