Chapter 283
Kevin looked sideways at Axel and then he told them : “You are aware that no matter what happens I won’t let Ian die. So, if he can’t beat this Titan I will kill him myself, even if it means civil war for the demons. Are you ready to take this risk ?”
Kerry stood up and said to him: “No matter what happens, we won’t let our rightful king be killed by a divine creature who is not even a demon and has no business being in our world. So please, let us get rid of this Titan who has tyrannized our people once and for all and help us protect Ian.”
He added after looking at his brother and Derek : “If you or Mykael ever need to intervene we will find a way to appease the demons and avoid a civil war, trust us.”
Kevin finally nodded and said: “Okay, let’s do it that way then, go ahead and keep us informed.”
Dilan had already given half of the teleportation talismans Mykael provided him to Derek earlier and so the latter used one to open a portal to join the rebellion, and he, Solomon and Kerry left more determined than ever.
Mykael took the opportunity to also teleport Colin and Alan to Ian and after explaining to him what they had decided, Ian bowed his head to show his gratitude to Mykael and Colin and after warning his students that it would be Alan who would be teaching his classes, he left with Colin and Mykael returned to Axel and Kevin.
When he joined them, Kevin told him that Kelan had already left to study his father’s archives to try to find the location of the Acrium and that Dilan and Nolan had gone to check the situation at the border.
He had also sent Ashton back to the Sun Sect so he could continue to train and so there were only Erik and Caleb left with them.
Kevin then asked Mykael: “Can you take care of Axel and Erik’s training, I almost didn’t have time to craft potions this morning and I need to craft more of them if I want to be able to use the particles in the spiritual energy freely as soon as possible.”
Mykael smirked and said to him: “Gladly, and don’t worry, I have the necessary knowledge to help Erik to master his Warrior Spirit skill.”
Mykael opened a portal and said to the boys: “Let’s go! We are going to a special dimension for Erik’s training, his power is a bit too destructive if he can’t control it.”
Erik didn’t hesitate for a second and he went through the portal followed by Mykael, and Axel before leaving hugged Kevin and he teased him a little bit: “I can’t even imagine how frustrating it must be for you to have to craft potions.”
Kevin hugged him back and he said to him: “Well, at least this way you can spend more time with your father, so it’s fine for me.”
Axel smiled tenderly at him and he said with his deep and magnetic voice: “Babe, I love you so much.”
He kissed him one last time and he walked through the portal, which closed just behind him.
Caleb then said to him : “Now that we are the only ones left, if you want me to craft a weapon with Trinium I hope you have everything I need to do it.”
Kevin smirked and told him : “I want you to craft him 2 shortswords, one with high grade Verarium and one with high grade Trinium. For the Trinium I have crystals filled with particles that you can use and I would like you to use water, wind and lightning to make it.”
Caleb whistled and said to him : “Impressive… I’m going to have to use my Stage 2 to make these weapons or I’ll never finish them in time. I’ll be in a place where no one but Mykael will be able to reach me so warn Kelan to stay out of trouble while I’m gone.”
Kevin smiled and said while handing him the magic bag that contained the high grade Verarium and crystals : “Take what you need and tell me how much Trinium you need… And don’t worry about Kelan I promise I’ll keep him busy enough so that he won’t do anything stupid.”
Caleb smiled too reassured and after taking what he needed in his magic bag he told him : “2kg of Trinium will do it, and I will need 10 hours to craft the shortsword made with Trinium and 14 hours to craft the Verarium one… I can’t believe you found some high grade ones, it’s amazing.”
Kevin then said to him while handing him the Trinium: “I’m not the one who found it, it’s Ian thanks to his earth element. He used it to search inside the walls of the dungeons we looted and he’s also the one who extracted them.”
Caleb chuckled and said to him : “I see… You guys make a good team, and I’m glad to be here with you and to be able to help.”
Kevin then said to him: “I feel better to have another experienced Warrior Spirit by my side, I’m glad you’re here too.”
Caleb nodded and disappeared, leaving him alone. Kevin then decided to go home to craft potions, he felt like everything was speeding up and he didn’t know yet if he should be worried or relieved, after all, fighting had always been his raison d’ĂȘtre and even if he aspired to a family life with Axel, he felt perfectly in his element to manage all this mess.
He used the dimension Mykael had given them to teleport in his pavilion and before starting to craft potions, he went to get the egg of their baby phoenix that would soon hatch.
He hesitated to even go to training this afternoon with the others for fear of missing his hatching. He didn’t want to miss it and he knew that Axel would also be sad if he couldn’t attending his birth, but unless Mykael had an infallible way of knowing when it would happen, if he left to train there was a risk that he would hatch while he and Axel weren’t there.
For the moment he decided to start crafting potions and he would see what he would do later for the training.
This morning, before his mark of the Union turned golden and that he was teleported through the golden portal onto the battlefield, he had time to craft 18 potions. And since it was already 2pm, he only had time to craft 18 more potions before joining the others at 3.30pm on the training ground… If he did as usual.
