My Lust System: I Inherited The Sin Of Lust And His Three Wives
Chapter 489: Chaos In Cinderfall
Sol’s face practically sparkled like a light bulb while Leo’s shock could not be hidden. The entire room had fallen so silent that the faint sound of breathing suddenly seemed loud, and every pair of eyes remained fixed on the human standing in the center of the room.
His clothes were covered in dust, his boots were stained from non-stop hours of travel, and sweat still clung to his forehead, making it obvious that he had rushed directly from his post without stopping to rest. Yet despite his exhaustion, the excitement in his eyes was impossible to suppress.
"I’m not lying, sire. Not only did he reject Astaroth himself, the two clashed briefly in the royal court and Astaroth was driven away. Then he went to the garrison and murdered fifty one thousand demon soldiers. Amongst them was also a Demi-god of the Damika clan!" the spy shouted, his voice rising with every sentence.
The room remained frozen as the man looked up again, and the excitement burning in his eyes seemed to infect everyone listening.
"Not just that. He also created another cursed weapon out of them. That prince is truly a monster!" he gasped.
Sol slowly leaned back in his seat, the light in his face becoming even brighter. His lips curled upward as though he had just been handed the greatest piece of entertainment in the universe.
For years, the underworld had been stagnant with no interesting events that could hold his interest.
Damian had only been back in Velmora for a short period. Yet he had already executed demigods, declared the death of a Duke, publicly rejected the leader of the Council of Elders and now massacred fifty one thousand demons in a single day before forging their deaths into another cursed weapon.
Sol’s eyes slowly narrowed with amusement.
"Interesting..." he muttered.
Leo, however, was nowhere near as entertained. His face remained stiff as he processed the information again. He had expected Damian to be ruthless, especially after everything he had heard about what happened on Earth, but this was different. This was not simply a prince defending his authority. Damian was actively tearing through the foundations of demon society as though he had never cared about their customs in the first place.
Sol glanced toward Leo, and the young human simply stared at the spy with genuine shock. Even without killing Duke Darbin, Damian’s latest actions were already enough to convince most demons that the Prince of Lust held a deep hatred for their kind.
But it wasn’t just Leo who was dumbfounded. The entire underworld was shaken by the news.
From the smallest villages to the grand capitals ruled by powerful demon families, information about the massacre began spreading through communication arrays, messengers and soul calls.
___ CinderFall, Crimson Palace ___
Deep within the Crimson Palace of CinderFall, however, the news produced a completely different reaction.
Kazier’s face twisted violently as the report reached him.
Bam!
His fist slammed into the armrest of the massive dragon throne, splitting part of the hardened material beneath his palm. In the next instant, he grabbed the goblet beside him and hurled it across the royal court with enough force to make it explode against the ground. Crimson wine splashed across the floor and soaked into the expensive carpet while the ministers standing nearby immediately lowered their heads.
"That brat... After what he did to me, he dares... He dares act recklessly in the underworld as a mere demigod?!" Kaizer roared.
The force behind his voice alone created shockwaves that rippled across the royal court. Several wine jars resting beside the throne trembled before rolling across the floor, their contents spilling across the crimson carpet. Dozens of empty jars were already scattered around the room, revealing just how much Kaizer had been drinking since returning from Earth.
His ministers remained completely silent. Nobody dared to speak.
Since his defeat, Kaizer had never truly been the same.
The humiliation had followed him back into the underworld like a shadow. He had descended to Earth with the confidence of a God, only to be defeated by a human who had barely entered the demigod realm. The story had already spread throughout the underworld, and although nobody dared mention it in front of him, Kaizer knew exactly what the other rulers thought.
The mighty dragon had been defeated and now that same human was running wild in Velmora.
Fulgur stood before the dragon throne calmly, his silver hair swaying slightly in the wind entering through the open windows. Unlike the terrified ministers around him, his posture remained straight, and his hands were calmly placed behind his back as he stared at the ground.
"Give me one good reason why we have not invaded Velmora!!!" Kaizer roared.
For a brief moment, the royal court became completely still as Fulgur slowly raised his gaze.
"Because if Your Majesty moves, Pride will move, and you will be left fighting two human princes in a foreign land where your seat of power holds no advantage. You will lose."
The temperature in the room seemed to drop.
Several ministers slowly turned toward Fulgur with expressions of absolute horror. Others instinctively stepped backward, creating as much distance as possible between themselves and the silver haired dragon.
"What did you say?!" Kaizer hissed.
Fulgur did not blink.
"You will die, sire. You do not have what it takes to defeat those two in a foreign land, and we both know it."
The ministers immediately paled as nobody waited for Kaizer to respond.
"Get away!"
"Someone is trying to die!"
"Ooh my God, is he crazy?!"
The entire royal court descended into panic as ministers and officials rushed away from the center of the room. Some pushed others aside in their desperation to escape while several elderly officials nearly fell over their robes trying to reach the exits. The memory of Kaizer’s defeat had clearly done nothing to reduce the fear his temper inspired.
Within seconds, only one person remained standing before the dragon throne.
Fulgur.
His expression was firm and his eyes cold.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY?!" Kaizer growled, his voice deepening as crimson energy began leaking from his body.
Fulgur’s expression did not change.
"Have you forgotten your battle with Lin Qui five centuries ago so quickly?" he asked calmly. "He stole your desire to kill, rendering your Rage inheritance useless, and you were soundly defeated by him. That is why the Council favoured him as the next Demon Lord over you until his mysterious death."
Kaizer’s pupils narrowed. The mention of Lin Qui alone was enough to make the veins across his forehead swell but Fulgur continued anyway.
"Do you think it will be any different now that man has Pride on his side?!"
"FULGURRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!"
Kaizer’s roar shook the entire Crimson Palace and the dragon throne beneath him exploded.
Bam!
A violent crimson shockwave erupted through the royal court, ripping apart pillars and sending fragments of stone flying in every direction. The walls cracked beneath the pressure as Kaizer’s massive body rapidly transformed, crimson scales bursting through his skin while his bones expanded violently.
His human form disappeared.
A mighty red dragon burst through the collapsing roof of the Crimson Palace.
ROARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!
The roar shook the heavens above CinderFall.
Outside the palace, countless demons raised their heads in terror as the massive crimson dragon rose into the sky. His wings stretched across the heavens, blocking the moonlight while flames leaked from between his razor sharp teeth.
Below him, Fulgur was thrown backward by the force of the transformation, his feet skidding across the destroyed marble floor.
But he did not fall.
His eyes blazed with silver light as dragon scales slowly emerged across his body.
"You have grown increasingly useless since your disgraceful defeat at the hands of a demigod human," Fulgur hissed as he looked up at Kaizer. "If you cannot put your emotions aside and think clearly, then that dragon throne should go to someone else!"
Fulgur’s body exploded with silver light.
Boom!
His body rapidly expanded as silver scales consumed his skin. Massive wings tore through the air behind him, and within seconds, another enormous dragon stood before the Crimson Palace.
A mighty silver dragon.
The demons watching from the streets stared upward in disbelief as two dragons hovered above the heart of CinderFall.
Then a roar suddenly erupted from the distance.
"AID LORD FULGUR! OVERTHROW THE MAD DRAGON!!!!"
The cry spread across the capital like wildfire.
Thousands of soldiers suddenly began pouring from the direction of the capital garrison. Their armor shook as they marched through the streets in enormous numbers, banners bearing Fulgur’s insignia rising above their heads. Tens of thousands of demon soldiers flooded toward the Crimson Palace, and as the realization spread through the capital, civilians began retreating into their homes.
A coup was taking place!
Unknown to the rest of the underworld, CinderFall had already fallen into chaos.
