"Judging by the estimates of our scouts, the enemy forces are around fifty to seventy thousand strong," one of the Warclaw Tribe commanders reported.

"It seems that they are really going all-out this time," Malik commented.

"Even if it was a hundred thousand, none of them will break past our defenses," Duncan, who was the Chieftain of the Redmaw Tribe, stated before shifting his attention towards Leone. "Isn’t that right, Great Chieftain?"

Since the Aslan Tribe was the winner of the tournament, all the chieftains, with the exception of Hagen, now called Leone as their Great Chieftain.

"That’s right." Leone nodded as he thanked his lucky stars that he had managed to swap with his clone at the right moment.

If his clone was the one that was asked this question, then it might have said something stupid like...

"Of course! The enemy could have over a hundred thousand soldiers, and they still wouldn’t stand a chance against the might of the Borderlands!"

Leone could already imagine the smug expression on his clone’s face while saying it.

Thankfully, he arrived just in time, preventing a great embarrassment on his part.

"However," Leone continued, "We shouldn’t underestimate them. The Aurelion Empire wouldn’t send tens of thousands of soldiers if they weren’t confident in their chances of victory."

Suddenly, a thought came to the young man’s mind, which he believed should be shared to the people in this meeting.

"Speaking of which, I have great news for everyone," Leone said calmly. "The Aslan Tribe has managed to make the Britannian Army retreat."

"Huh?!" Duncan, the Chieftain of the Redmaw Tribe, gasped.

"Really?!" Oswald, the Chieftain of the Grimfang Tribe, looked at Leone in disbelief.

"That is indeed good news." Garen of the Ironhide Tribe nodded in satisfaction.

Still, there were a few who voiced their confusion as well.

"How did you do it?" Godwin asked. "How many enemies did the Aslan Tribe face?"

Gundar, Malik, Troy, and Jafar all narrowed their eyes at the question. They wanted to know if the young man was really telling them the truth or not.

"We faced around fifty thousand to sixty thousand soldiers," Leone replied. "Actually, something interesting happened."

The young chieftain then looked smug as if he had accomplished something incredible. A feat worth celebrating!

"While the Britannian Army was trying to invade our lands, their lands got invaded by the Radiant Empire from the north and the Barbarian King of the west." Leone chuckled. "Of course, the Beastmen, who are allied with the Barbarian King, sent their elite forces to help them in battle.

"Even as we speak, those forces are pushing deeper into the domain of the Kingdom of Britannia. Because of this, they were forced to pull out their forces and returned as fast as they could to stop the invasion in their own backyard. It’s quite funny honestly."

The chieftains of the high-ranking and middle-ranked tribes couldn’t help but wonder if the invasion of the Kingdom of Britannia was a coincidence or not.

But even then, this was good news for them because this meant that they had one less enemy to deal with in the upcoming war.

"Have you confirmed that they won’t be coming back?" Troy asked.

"They won’t." Leone shook his head. "But in the small chance that they do, I will inform you all about it."

"How will you know if they are going to invade?" Troy arched an eyebrow.

"The answer to that question is ’men’s intuition’," Leone said without batting an eye.

"""..."""

Everyone became speechless, with the exception of one person.

"As expected of our Great Chieftain!" Kael said with a smile. "His intuition is truly incredible! Even without any information, he can somehow predict the movements of an entire army!"

Daedalus chuckled directly inside Leone’s head in response, while the young chieftain did his best to stop the smile on his face from breaking.

He was already expecting Kael’s comment, but hearing it still made him feel secondhand embarrassment.

"I have my ways." Leone coughed lightly. "Just trust me that the information I get is credible. For now, we don’t have to worry about the Kingdom of Britannia. Instead, we need to focus all of our attention on the Aurelion Empire’s army."

All the chieftains nodded in agreement.

"Actually, their movements are speeding up a bit," Godwin stated. "According to my scout’s estimates, we will be able to see them from our ramparts within four to five days. Also, the banner of the Wind Guardian has been seen."

Everyone in the room, except Leone, wore solemn expressions.

He had no idea who the Wind Guardian was and how powerful they were.

Truth be told, the reason why this meeting was held was because of this very matter.

Seeing that the young chieftain looked clueless, Godwin decided to explain the situation to Leone.

"The Wind Guardian is a very powerful individual," Godwin said calmly. "He is on par with our Great Shaman. Many years ago, the two of them fought, and the battle ended up in a draw. Isn’t that right, Great Shaman?"

"That’s right." Gundar nodded. "He is a really powerful individual, able to create hurricanes and tornadoes at will. The Wind Guardian can even single-handedly destroy the walls of Eden. Also, while I don’t want to admit it, aside from me, no one here is his match."

Finally, Leone understood why everyone looked solemn. Although he didn’t know how powerful Gundar was once he released his seal, it still made him think that the Aurelion Empire was truly serious in taking Eden.

A powerhouse that was as strong as the Great Shaman of the Borderlands?

That was a Rank S threat in Leone’s book.

"Great Uncle, is he really that strong?" Leone asked.

"He is very strong," Gundar replied without hesitation. "In order to defeat him, I will need to fight him using my full strength."

The young man pondered for a bit before asking another question.

"Then, does the Aurelion Empire also have a powerhouse that is just as strong as the Wind Guardian?" Leone inquired.

For some reason, this question of his made everyone in the room become silent once again.

This time, it was Jafar who broke the silence.

"Great Chieftain, if the Aurelion Empire had a second individual that is as powerful as our Great Shaman, then I’m afraid that it will be extremely hard to win this war."

Jafar had witnessed how Gundar had single-handedly made the Darkmane Tribe kneel in the past.

That level of power and intensity was like seeing a natural calamity at work.

It was something that couldn’t be stopped by merely wits and brute strength.

When a natural calamity descended, all you could do was hide or wait until it moved away from your location.

Leone decided to ask his Great Uncle later more about the Wind Guardian of the Aurelion Empire. That way, he could come up with a means to counter his strength, allowing their side to gain an advantage by the time the powerhouse revealed himself.
