My Invincible Defense: Traversing the Endless Worlds

[Volume 2] Chapter 24: Gaining Two New Maids

Chen-Awelon had now transformed into a stunning beauty. She was tall and slender, with long, elegant legs, a voluptuous figure, and alluring curves.

The five hundred Dou Emperors around her scattered at once, putting as much distance between themselves and Chen-Awelon as possible. Every one of them was utterly devoted to Miss Xiao Yan, having sworn eternal vows of love to her.

If they continued crowding around this alluring woman, Miss Xiao Yan might start to suspect something.

Chen-Awelon thrust out her chest, her eyes half-lidded and seductive as she secretly glanced around. Then she spotted the young female Xiao Yan lying on the ground not far away.

The young female Xiao Yan still couldn’t accept the fact that she had gone from male to female. She lay on her back on the hillside, utterly despairing, tears sliding from the corners of her eyes like beads from a broken string.

The five hundred Dou Emperors were still stunned by Chen-Awelon’s sudden gender change, and their vigilance had relaxed.

Chen-Awelon quietly ducked low, pulled a seven colored rainbow horse from his spatial pouch, and leaped onto its back. Then, before anyone could react, he flashed to the young female Xiao Yan’s side and hauled her onto the horse.

“Grab that… that shameless woman!” Miss Xiao Yan cried out in a soft, delicate voice.

The five hundred Dou Emperors immediately unleashed their abilities, transforming into countless streaks of light as they shot toward Chen-Awelon.

Chen-Awelon pulled out a bottle of gender-change potion from his spatial pouch, pried open the young female Xiao Yan’s mouth, and forcibly poured it down her throat. He then took out another bottle and drank it himself.

In an instant, heaven and earth overturned. The timeline plunged into chaos before resetting itself. When the surrounding haze finally fell silent and everything before their eyes settled, the sky held nothing but the boundless might of the Heavenly Flames, with Dou Emperor Xiao Yan standing proudly between heaven and earth.

Dou Emperor Xiao Yan was tall and imposing, with a handsome, formidable face. At long last, he was a man again.

Chen-Awelon had also returned to his male form. He let out a long breath. “That was close. The timeline’s finally back on track. Everything has returned to normal.”

Dou Emperor Xiao Yan shot toward Chen-Awelon and roared, “Shameless thief! Put down my younger self, or I’ll burn you to ashes!”

Chen-Awelon completely ignored the fact that he himself had just been forcibly gender-swapped. Throwing his head back, he laughed.

“So the Flame Emperor isn’t all that impressive after all! I had him dancing in the palm of my hand!”

He tossed the young male Xiao Yan away.

“Catch!”

Then he put away the Seven-Colored Rainbow Horse, leaned back, and fell backward through the sky, escaping from the Imaginary World.

…

With that, the mission was successfully completed.

Chen-Awelon woke up aboard the mobile combat platform and, honoring his promise, gave Sainquartz an additional one hundred Contribution Points.

Everyone returned to the main base of the Spacetime Destruction Bureau. After bidding one another farewell, they departed through different spacetime tunnels and returned to their respective worlds.

Finn did not immediately return to his private villa in Blackthorn Kingdom, which lay on the Emberveil Continent of World Alpha-TWO-B-397690. Instead, he first went to Sis Avasarala’s personal office planet. There was something he wanted to discuss with her.

Finn had always believed that most of the members of the Spacetime Destruction Bureau were complete oddballs. The only two normal people were Sis Avasarala and himself.

Amid an endless sea of misty clouds, a hundred-story white tower drifted up and down. This was one of Avasarala’s usual workplaces.

Finn walked up to Sis Avasarala. After thinking for a moment, he asked, “I completed the mission Chen-Awelon posted. Can I draw a prize?”

There was no reason to refuse a free lottery. The odds of winning were one hundred percent, and anything he won was free. Even if he drew a pile of shit, he could still use it as fertilizer.

The last time, he had drawn a throwable Tsar Bomba. It was of limited use, but it still had its purposes.

Sis Avasarala nodded readily and tossed him a lottery box. Finn reached inside and pulled out two Spacetime Crystal Cases.

Spacetime Crystal Cases were the storage containers most commonly used by Celestial Sojourners. They could stop time, compress space, and reduce mass. Anything placed inside a Spacetime Crystal Case would remain eternally preserved and never decay. They were an essential item for both home and travel.

Finn carefully examined the two cases in his hands. Inside the transparent crystal cubes, two female figures appeared lifelike.

One was a young woman with long, slender legs and smooth, fair skin. She wore a sexy gold-and-white outfit, while her long black hair fell over her shoulders.

The other girl had bright golden hair and an equally beautiful, delicate face. A golden necklace bearing a skull hung around her neck, while her long, pale legs were dazzlingly white.

They were a pair of sisters—Ishtar and Ereshkigal.

“This is…”

Finn recognized them as characters from *Fate*. How had they ended up right in front of him?

Sis Avasarala explained calmly, “These were created when Nangong Shuzhu materialized the *Fate* Imaginary World. She was a huge fan of *Fate*, so she went to great lengths to bring its characters into reality. Unfortunately, she later died in battle and left her creations in my care for safekeeping.”

At this point, Sis Avasarala sighed.

“The Boss once plotted some ‘major undertaking,’ but the Spacetime Administration Bureau discovered it and breached our main base. Many people we knew died in that battle. Even now, however, I still don’t know what that ‘major undertaking’ actually was.”

“Hmm…”

Finn had always been an outsider and knew little about the events of the past. He weighed the Spacetime Crystal Cases containing Ishtar and Ereshkigal in his hands and asked, “How do I use these?”

“Once the restraints on the Spacetime Crystal Cases are removed, the first person they see will be recognized as their master. They’ll remain absolutely loyal and faithful forever.”

“Ishtar and Ereshkigal… They don’t seem all that strong.” Finn frowned. “I’ve read the manga about those sisters before. They couldn’t even beat tentacle monsters.”

“If you don’t want them, give them back. I’ll put them up for sale on the Myriad Realms Network,” Sis Avasarala said flatly.

They were free, after all. Why would he refuse?

Two more maids! Finn quickly put Ishtar and Ereshkigal into his storage space.

Sis Avasarala took a delicate sip of tea. “By the way, since we’re talking about materializing Imaginary Worlds, have you heard of the Star Cosmos Empire’s ‘Creator God’ Project?”

“I’ve heard a little about it.” Finn nodded slightly.

As its name suggested, the Star Cosmos Empire’s Creator God Project involved creating worlds—not just one, but countless entirely different real worlds.

Sis Avasarala continued, “As part of the Star Cosmos Empire’s enormous Creator God Project, they used the method of materializing Imaginary Worlds to create a world that combines Marvel and DC. It was packed with perverts in skintight leather, underwear worn on the outside, flying around in the sky.”

“Is there a mission?” Finn immediately seized on the key point.

“Exactly. Our Spacetime Destruction Bureau is preparing to establish a branch base in that world and recruit two or three permanent Bureau members. Are you interested in taking it on?”

“Recruit two or three newcomers and establish a branch base.” Finn nodded. “That doesn’t sound too difficult.”

“Establishing the branch base won’t be difficult. Recruiting newcomers will be.” Sis Avasarala’s gaze turned distant. “Our Spacetime Destruction Bureau only recruits people with ideals, ambition, and ability. Those kinds of people aren’t easy to find.”

Finn smiled faintly.

“That’s fine. I’m best at training new recruits. I’ll take the mission!”
