The All-Spark core in Leo’s chest pulsed with an incandescent surge of golden light as Boss Flint lay broken and defeated at his soles.

A cascading waterfall of system prompts materialized in crisp violet letters across his field of vision.

[ Syndicate Boss Neutralized: Crime Lord Flint ]

[ Combat EXP Awarded: +35,000 | LEVEL UP! Level 22 -> Level 25 (Peak E-Rank Apex) ]

[ Maximum Ether Capacity: 5,500 / 5,500 | Core Density Multiplier: 1.5x ]

[ Syndicate Empire Bounty Wire: +500,000 Credits Cash Deposited ]

[ Total Account Liquid Wealth: 1,403,500 Credits (Millionaire Milestone Unlocked) ]

[ Passive Trait Acquired: Cryo-Ether Resistance (75% Thermal Protection) ]

The volume of harvested EXP and liquid cash settled into his account with a digital chime.

Reaching Level 25 unlocked the pinnacle of E-Rank strength across the metropolitan rating scales, saturating every tendon, bone, and nerve ending with refined cosmic ether.

The cold radiating from the shattered ballroom no longer caused a chill against his skin, his new passive resistance neutralizing the sub-zero temperature completely.

Leo stepped closer to the twisted beams pinning the syndicate leader down, lowering the edge of his blade until it rested against Flint’s throat.

"You have ten seconds to tell me what I want to know," Leo said in a voice as cold as the ocean wind howling through the ballroom.

"Who ordered the siege on Luna’s clinic in District 9?"

Flint coughed violently, dark blood sputtering past his cracked lips onto the floorboards.

"If I tell you... will you let me live?" Flint wheezed, his remaining hand trembling as he stared up at the blade.

"You do not have the leverage to negotiate," Leo replied softly, pressing the razor edge a fraction deeper.

"Talk, or you perish right now."

Flint’s nerve completely shattered under the weight of Leo’s unyielding gaze.

"It was Apex... Apex Bio-Tech!" Flint choked out, desperate words tumbling from his throat.

"The Chairman’s only son is dying of genetic decay, his cellular matrix is rotting from within!"

"Their researchers discovered that Luna’s vitality ether is the biological key that can reverse the necrosis!"

"They offered me fifty million credits and exclusive supply rights for District 9 if my syndicate delivered her alive!"

Leo’s eyes narrowed into cold, lethal slits as the full scope of the conspiracy fell into place.

The attack on District 9 had not been a random turf war, it was a targeted corporate harvest orchestrated by the most powerful pharmaceutical conglomerate in the city.

"Where is their primary research facility?" Leo demanded.

"District 1... sub-level four beneath the Apex Medical Tower," Flint choked out, struggling for breath.

"The facility is protected by biometric passcodes... the master access sequence is..."

Before the syndicate boss could speak the code, a microscopic red laser dot danced across his forehead.

A silent, hyper-velocity sniper round tore through the storm clouds above, piercing the shattered skylight with terrifying precision.

The specialized round struck Flint’s skull, triggering a localized spatial implosion that vaporized the man’s head into a vacuum.

Flint’s lifeless body slumped limp beneath the beams as the smoking bullet casing embedded itself deeply into the floorboards.

Leo leaped backward in a burst of shadow speed, his blade raised in a defensive guard as he scanned the stormy sky above the yacht.

A miniature projector on the bullet casing activated with a sharp hum, casting a floating holographic avatar into the air between them.

The projection displayed a tall figure in a tailored charcoal suit wearing a stylized silver falcon mask.

"You have overstepped your boundaries, Ghost," a synthesized voice spoke from the hologram.

"Boss Flint was an expendable asset whose operational utility has reached its conclusion."

"Interfering with Apex Bio-Tech corporate assets carries a mandatory sentence of genetic liquidation."

Leo stared into the glowing silver mask of the holographic inquisitor, his expression devoid of fear.

"Tell your Chairman to order a coffin for himself and his dying son," Leo answered coldly.

"Because after I tear down District 1, Apex Bio-Tech will not exist anymore."

"Your threats are noted, slum rat," the inquisitor replied with flat detachment.

"Our clean-up protocol has already commenced. Goodbye."

Leo flicked his wrist, slicing the holographic projector in two with a single spatial strike that scattered blue sparks across the deck.

"Leo! We have to move right now!" Sierra’s voice called out through the howling storm.

She sprinted out from the service stairwell onto the sloping ballroom deck, her pouch secured tightly around her waist.

"Flint set the yacht’s plasma reactors to overload when he injected the overclock serum!" she shouted over the rushing waves.

"The engine room is three seconds away from a critical core breach!"

Leo did not waste a heartbeat.

He closed the distance in a blur of shadow speed, scooping Sierra into a secure bridal carry against his chest.

"Hold on tight," he whispered.

Leo sprinted across the tilt of the ruined deck, activating Phantom Greaves to launch himself off the stern railing.

They vaulted fifty feet through the stormy night air, soaring over the churning waves just as the Golden Leviathan detonated behind them.

A colossal fireball of blue plasma and orange fire tore the luxury yacht apart, sending thousands of tons of debris raining into the ocean.

Leo and Sierra plunged into the dark bay waters, resurfacing seconds later beside an idling carbon-fiber speedboat.

Leo boosted Sierra up onto the stern deck before hauling himself over the side, dripping wet and composed.

Sierra gripped the throttle with a breathless, adrenaline-fueled laugh, spinning the wheel as the twin turbine engines roared to life.

The boat surged across the open water, leaping over the whitecaps as the burning wreck of the yacht sank beneath the waves behind them.

"Forty million credits in the bag, a cosmic crystal secured, and the biggest syndicate in the city turned to ash," she purred, looking back at him with hungry eyes.

"You really know how to show a girl an entertaining time, shadow boy."

"We need a secure place to dry off and sort the bearer bonds," Leo said, looking toward the distant shore.

"I have a private penthouse at the District 3 marina," Sierra answered with a sultry smile.

"High security, private elevator, and a steaming jacuzzi overlooking the bay."

She steered the speedboat into a private subterranean slipway beneath a modern high-rise tower, tying the mooring lines with practiced speed.

She stepped onto the pontoon, brushing a wet strand of hair from her shoulder while looking back at Leo with open desire.

"Come inside, Leo," she murmured, her voice dripping with playful temptation.

"Let us celebrate the biggest score this city has ever seen."

Leo stepped off the boat onto the private dock, feeling the assimilated power of Genesis Shard 2 pulsing safely inside his chest.

"The night is far from over for us," he answered with a confident smile.

"And our real celebration is just getting started."
