My Debauhed System
Chapter 37: Against Morales Brown 1
Emma continued examining the spacious interior, her fingers lingering against the sleek furniture as if genuinely fascinated by its layout. Morales, however, wasn’t particularly interested in entertaining her or playing whatever game she had brought to his doorstep.
He pulled his chair back and sat down facing his laptop again. "Was there anything else you wanted to discuss, Emma?" he asked, his voice devoid of interest.
She turned toward him, resting one hand against her waist while her short skirt shifted slightly with the motion. Her green eyes locked onto his profile as he focused on his screen.
"You’re really not very friendly, are you, Brown?" she purred softly.
"Depends entirely on who I’m talking to."
Emma chuckled, a smooth, practiced sound. "You’re quite different from what I expected."
"Is that so?"
"Yes. I thought you’d be a lot more interested in having an actual conversation with me."
Morales offered a brief, sideways glance, his electric-blue eyes indifferent. "Why would I?"
Her disarming smile faltered for a fraction of a second.
It was becoming increasingly clear that Emma Bentley was unaccustomed to being brushed off. As one of the most prominent media figures and sought-after girls in the Prestige Class, people usually went out of their way to earn her attention or cater to her whims. She was used to holding all the leverage in a conversation.
Unfortunately for her, Morales had far more critical priorities than validating her vanity. "Anyway, I have actual work to handle," Morales said, his fingers already flying across his keyboard as he opened a fresh encrypted interface. "You should probably head out."
She didn’t want to back off, so she smirked and walked up to him, her hands massaging his shoulder, as she rest her chin on him, her breast hitting the back of his neck and burying it slowly, "Why do you want to brush me off Morales." She whispers in his ears like a seducing witch.
Her hands tracing his abs still veiled by the clothes he wore, but then her hand went beneath his clothes since he had the top unbottoned, she trailed her hands down from his abs to his trousers, feeling the bulge on his trousers sge smirk, "You’re big."
"Paws off." He said coldly, but she turned deaf to his order. Before she could go further to hold his dick, he pushed her backwards with force, causing her to almost fall on her buttocks. "I won’t repeat myself again."
His chin hesitantly drops with every word, making it sound authoritative and commanding.
Emma stared at him for a quiet moment, her jaw setting slightly before she forced a pleasant, polished smile back onto her face.
"Fine. I’ll see you around, Brown."
She turned, walked toward the heavy oak door, opened it, and stepped out into the quiet corridor.
Morales barely acknowledged her departure, his focus already consumed by the code flickering across his monitor.
The moment the door clicked shut behind her, the alluring, sweet expression on Emma’s face instantly evaporated. She stood in the hallway, her sharp green eyes darting left and right to ensure the high-tier residential floor was completely deserted.
Once satisfied that no one was watching, she pulled out her phone from her pocket and opened its camera.
She stepped back, framed the entrance of Morales suite, and took a crystal-clear photo of his dormitory door, capturing the suite number plaque mounted on the wall.
After inspecting the image to ensure the details were sharp, she cast one last fleeting look down the hallway, slipped her device away, and walked off toward the stairs.
Unfortunately for her, the corridor wasn’t as empty as she assumed. Standing in the shadow was Amelie Wade who had witnessed the entire interaction.
Amelie had been out speaking with her brother to clarify if he was still going to stay at his room, when she received a positive answer, she was back at staying opposite Morales and just left the elevator at the far end of the corridor when she sees Emma.
Emma’s odd behavior had caught her attention. Pushing up her glasses, Amelie watched from the elevator that was slowly opening, as Emma snapped the detailed photo and hurried away.
Why on earth would she take a photo of his exact door and room number? Amelie wondered, her brow furrowing with deep suspicion. ’She’s Alexander’s girlfriend... is she feeding information to someone?’
Determined to warn Morales immediately, Amelie stepped fully into the corridor and turned toward his door. Before her boots could reach the far room of Morales dorm, she saw people already coming from opposite through the stairs, before she could run, one if them was too fast and loomed over her.
Amelie caught the swift movement in her peripheral vision, but before she could react or turn her head, a heavy impact violently struck the back of her skull.
THWACK!
A sharp, agonizing burst of pain exploded through her head. Her vision blurred instantly into a haze of static.
She staggered forward with a choked gasp, her phone slipping from her numb fingers and clattering onto the floor before her knees buckled, sending her limp body collapsing onto the carpet.
Standing directly over her unconscious form was a male figure gripping a heavy aluminium baseball bat.
Jayden Vance looked down at the fallen girl, slowly raising the bat and resting the polished metal against his shoulder. A cruel, utterly satisfied smirk spread across his face as he looked from Amelie’s limp body to Morales closed door across the hall.
"His room, huh?"
Few hours ago
Jayden leaned back in a plush leather armchair, swirling a glass of expensive liquor as he looked at the guy sitting across from him.
They were inside a secluded, VIP lounge located in the upper recreational sector, far away from the usual crowds of Aurelius Academy.
Sitting opposite him was Christopher Goodman.
Jayden tapped his fingers rhythmically against the armchair’s carved armrest. "It’s strange. Nobody on the student boards seems to know where that gutter rat actually stays. He keeps his footprint remarkably clean."
Christopher remained quiet, sipping his drink with an impassive expression.
Jayden eventually set his glass down, leaning forward as his eyes narrowed into cold slits. "How about you give me his exact suite number, Goodman?"
"You know I can’t do that directly," Christopher replied smoothly, his tone even. "I’m keeping my head low for a reason. Nobody in prestige suspects I have any connection to you or your family, and I’d prefer to keep it that way. I’m not blowing my cover over a location drop."
"Then figure out another play," Jayden growled, his jaw tightening.
Christopher let out a quiet sigh. "People on campus already know my family profile. If I suddenly start leaking his private residential coordinates, even through a burner account the digital forensics unit or Amelie might trace the origin back to my network. But I know someone else who can do the dirty work without leaving a trail back to us."
Jayden stared at him, his face twisting with dark impatience. "I don’t give a damn whether it’s you, Emma, or some hired mercenary," Jayden snapped.
"I want his exact dorm room number posted on every underground bounty board by tonight. Let every desperate brute on campus know where he sleeps and well I’ll be the first to know so they wouldn’t even stand a chance."
Christopher gave a slow, deliberate nod. "Consider it handled. Though... why are you so obsessed with this guy, Jayden? He’s just an impoverished glitch entry."
Jayden’s expression darkened into pure, toxic fury, his fingers crushing the side of his glass. "Because of that bastard, my father had to spend tens of millions in administrative bribes just to clear my record and force Aurelius to re-admit me!" Jayden spat, his voice laced with venom.
"And even after tossing all that capital around, the board still refused to elevate me to Imperial Class, they shoved me back into Prestige! I wouldn’t be dealing with any of this humiliation if Brown hadn’t interfered in the first place!"
Christopher watched the heir’s outburst with quiet, analytical eyes. "So you intend to make his entire academic year a living nightmare?"
"Now you’re finally catching on," Jayden sneered, leaning back into his leather chair with a cold, ruthless smile. "He made the mistake of making me take an interest in him. I’m simply returning the favor in full."
Christopher hesitated for a fraction of a second before adjusting his collar. "Just to be clear... whatever mess you bring down on his head, is it going to interfere with our group exam performance? I need those credits."
Jayden shot him a look of absolute disgust and annoyance. "Is that trivial test seriously the most important thing on your mind right now?"
"I’m just asking."
"Is it that important?" Jayden repeated, his tone dripping with disdain.
Christopher slowly shook his head. "No."
"Then fuck off," Jayden dismissed him with a sharp wave of his hand.
Without another word, Christopher stood up, straightened his tailored jacket, and walked toward the lounge exit, letting the heavy doors seal behind him.
Left alone in the dim light of the private room, Jayden picked up his glass once more, his mind entirely consumed with thoughts of breaking Morales Brown. He had zero intention of letting the wretch survive his first week at Aurelius Academy.
