Chapter 11: Rule Number Two

  • Next Chapter

Morning light poured through the tall dorm room windows, but neither Morales nor Chloe was in any rush to get out of bed.

Before Morales could even sit up, Chloe slid over his chest like a hungry wildcat, her damp blonde hair framing her flushed, eager face.

Driven by the lingering ecstasy of the previous night, she didn’t hesitate, she straddled his hips and leaned down, taking him into her warm mouth with frantic, desperate enthusiasm.

Morales couldn’t exactly tell her to stop. He wrapped his hands around her waist, lifting her up and driving into her again.

They went through two full, relentless rounds of wild, unrestrained passion until sweat glistered across both of their bare bodies and the bed sheets were completely soaked.

Finally, spent and breathing heavily, they showered together, dressed in their fresh attire, and stepped out of the dormitory building to focus on growing their card balances for the First Exam.

The moment Morales stepped into the open courtyard, the atmosphere shifted.

Every head turned in his direction. Dozens of students stopped in their tracks, staring, pointing fingers, and snickering behind their hands. The quiet whispers rippled across the plaza like a spreading disease.

Chime!

Chloe’s high-end phone vibrated sharply in her hand. She unlocked it, her eyes widening as she opened the official Freshman VIP Syndicate Chat, a private, encrypted channel where all the wealthy heirs and heiresses gathered.

"Morales..." Chloe whispered, her face going pale as she handed him the screen. "Look at this..."

At the top of the chat, a pinned post was trending with thousands of views and reactions.

[EXCLUSIVE EXPOSE: THE ’MYSTERY’ SCHOLARSHIP FREAK]

Name: Morales Brown.

Background: Orphan. Parents dead. Lives in a crumbling slum house with his broke aunt. Zero family net worth. Total fluke admission.

The chat beneath it was exploding. Some students posted fake pity emojis, while the majority unleashed wave after wave of merciless mockery, laughing at the "peasant" walking among royalty.

Morales stared at the post, his blue eyes narrowing into cold slits. He needed to find out who had leaked his private background.

’Why the fuck are rich kids always a bane to a poor person’s life." Morales thought.

He walked over to a nearby tech kiosk in the plaza, swiped his White Card, and purchased the absolute latest smartphone on the market.

[Cashback Perk Applied: -$200,000]

The sleek, dark glass device synced instantly with his encrypted system database.

As Morales slipped the phone into his jacket pocket and walked down a quiet, marble-arched corridor toward the Central Exchange, three heavy shadows stepped out from behind the grand stone pillars, blocking his path.

They were massive, muscle-bound freshmen, cracking their knuckles and grinning like predators.

A fourth figure stepped into the center of the hall, walking with slow, arrogant strides. He was tall, perfectly groomed, and wore a customized blazer trimmed with platinum thread. His name tag read JASPER.

"I finally found out who you really are, poor boy," Jasper sneered, stopping a few feet away with his arms crossed over his chest. "Morales Brown... a pathetic, broke orphan living off his aunt’s charity. What a fucking joke."

Morales stood calmly, his hands resting in his pockets. He didn’t want to engage in mindless fighting, nor did he want these arrogant rich kids looking down on him.

He just wanted to handle his business in peace, but these spoiled bastards simply refused to let it go.

Jasper pulled out a gleaming Diamond Card, tapping it against his palm. "Here’s the deal, beggar. Transfer me one million $AC right now, and I might consider taking your pathetic name off the VIP target list. How does that sound?"

Morales possessed sixty-one million credits in his account, but he would rather burn his money than hand a single cent to a parasite.

Morales raised an eyebrow, a cold smirk touching his lips. "Why don’t you try sucking a dick instead?"

Jasper’s face instantly twisted in pure, explosive rage. "You arrogant piece of shit! Beat him until he begs on his knees to confess!"

The three thugs surged forward at once, throwing heavy, brutal punches aimed straight at Morales’

face and ribs.

Morales stood his ground, his heightened instincts instantly scanning their combat potential. Trash, Slow, Weak.

Before the thugs fists could even reach him, Morales moved like a blur. With casual, lightning-fast flicks of his fingers, he tapped precise pressure points on their wrists and jaws.

TAP. THUD. CRACK.

In less than two seconds, all three massive thugs collapsed onto the cold marble floor, unconscious before they even realized they had been hit.

To anyone watching from afar, it looked as if Morales hadn’t even moved his arms.

Jasper gasped, stumbling backward in absolute horror as his three bodyguards lay motionless at Morales’ feet. "What... what the fuck did you just do?!"

Morales took a step toward Jasper. He briefly entertained the thought of grabbing Jasper by his throat and slamming his face into the stone pillar until he begged for mercy. But then Morales paused, his sharp mind weighing the consequences.

’This bastard is extremely wealthy and politically connected,’ Morales reasoned internally. ’If I beat him to a pulp, he can run straight to the Academy administration.

A "poor scholarship student" assaulting a top-tier heir will give them all the excuse they need to expel me before I can mobilize my capital.’

Jasper noticed Morales momentary hesitation and misread it as fear. A twisted, confident smirk returned to his face as he straightened his collar and pulled out his phone.

"You think you’re smart because you can fight, trash?" Jasper laughed maliciously. "You don’t know shit about how Aurelius Academy operates. Let me teach you something about the rules."

Jasper leaned forward, lowering his voice into a cruel whisper.

"Freshman Sector Regulation, Rule Number Two: Absolute prohibition of female students in male dormitories. But of course, you don’t know the rules, because at this academy, the Rulebook must be purchased. It costs two million $AC to buy the official handbook, a sum far too steep for a beggar like you."

Jasper tapped his phone screen, hovering his finger over a direct contact button.

"How about I call the Head of Freshman Student right now," Jasper sneered, his eyes gleaming with malicious triumph, "and report that you smuggled Chloe Sterling, the virgin heiress of the Sterling family, into your dorm room last night?"

’How the fuck did he know.’
