My Dearest General: It Has Always Been You

Chapter 12 - Get Out! Leave Me Alone!

"Qing Si!" Jiang Jinyan flew into rage.

Qing Si laughed out loud, his eyes full of contempt and gloat. "What? What can you do to me? In such a condition, do you think that you're still the high and almighty Jiang Jinyan who is everyone's favorite?"

Jiang Jinyan's eyes glared holes into him, and if looks could kill, Qing Si would surely drop dead to the ground in that instant. His chest heaving, and he sneered. "Don't you think it's low for you to come and mock me?"

"Is it low? I don't think so." Qing Si chuckled.

"Get out!" Jiang Jinyan didn't want to say anything to him anymore.

"All right, all right." Qing Si sighed in pity and shook his head. "I will go back and tell Coach Yong then. Ah, that's bad of me, I forgot that you can no longer be an athlete."

His disabled leg was the sorest wound on his heart, and with only a few words of his, Qing Si had successfully poked numerous bloody holes into them and grilled his flesh and bones to smithereens. Jiang Jinyan's temper got to his head, his eyes saw red and nothing was in his mind except to wipe that smirk out of Qing Si's face. And he really flung his blanket aside. But unfortunately, no matter how hard he tried, no matter how much strain he put into his body, he could no longer reach Qing Si.

That spotlight he used to enjoy for granted had been closed for him, forever.

Jiang Jinyan almost toppled down the bed, making Qing Si's eyes widened. He hurriedly stepped back and raised both of his hands. "Okay, you win. You win. I will go back right now."

With only two or three steps, he already got to the door. His hands on the handle as he turned around and added. "Look at my memory, I forgot to tell you. Your slot in the Olympics has been given to me. Thank you in advance. See you later~"

Qing Si disappeared from the room as fast as light.

Leaving Jiang Jinyan with his eyes bloodshot, his hands gripping the bed rail so hard that it almost broke his nails. His chest undulating fiercely, and he felt so suffocated as if he couldn't breathe. The image of Qing Si was imprinted in his memory.

The look he gave. The victory smirk on his face.

When he compared it to his current condition, Jiang Jinyan felt like he would be going crazy soon.

The colorful little cakes in front of him became such an eyesore. And in the moment of heat, he swiped them roughly to the ground. The pitiful cakes became a mess of cream and blobs, dirtying the clean, shining ceramic floor.

When Wei Xiameng entered, this was the sight she saw.

Jiang Jinyan, bundled in his bed with his hair in a mess, breathing heavily while the cakes she brought had become a messy waste on the ground. The IV drip on his hands were pulled apart, and patches of blood stained his clothes and the bed sheet around.

Her smile subsided and she strode ahead. "Jinyan, what's wrong?!"

Jiang Jinyan didn't give any reaction as if he couldn't hear her.

In the end, Wei Xiameng had to call him a few more times, each time louder than before and shook his arms hard so that Jiang Jinyan finally snapped his eyes open.

The ferociousness in them almost made her gasp and took a step back.

Jiang Jinyan saw the fear in her eyes, and his mind instantly broke down. "Get out! Get out of here! Leave me alone!"

"J—Jinyan—" Wei Xiameng's face paled, and tears pooled up in her eyes. Before, every time she looked like she was going to cry, Jiang Jinyan would soften and coax her patiently until she was appeased, but this time, Jiang Jinyan was akin to a wild beast that was defending against everyone who wanted to hurt him.

"Get out!!" he hollered with rage.

The noises attracted a nurse's attention and she worriedly knocked on the door and peeked inside. Seeing the mess in the room, her eyes widened and she asked. "What's wro—"

"Get out!" Jiang Jinyan clutched his head tightly, his back hunched so low that he almost got on the same level with the bed. "Get out of here! Leave me alone!"

The nurse realized the severe situation and hurriedly called for help. She politely asked Wei Xiameng, "Miss, can you please step out for a while?"

Doctor Chun arrived not even two minutes later, a deep frown on his face. "What's happening?"

Wei Xiameng's face was pale and her beautiful face was painted in tears. The rims of her eyes reddened as she tried to choke back her sobs. "I—I don't know, when I came back, Jingyan already became like this…"

She was asked to leave straightforwardly, and the nurses and doctors didn't give a damn about her anymore and they walked toward Jiang Jinyan. But upon hearing footsteps, the man was triggered again and he screamed. "Leave me alone!"

It needed two nurses to hold him down as Doctor Chun injected sedatives into his veins. Jiang Jinyan let out a growl deep inside his chest, and he struggled against the force holding him. Not long after, his struggle weakened and he finally submitted to the drowsiness that was pulling his consciousness away.

Doctor Chun sighed and told the nurse. "Keep an eye on him for 24 hours."

After that, he approached Wei Xiameng, wanting to inquire about the situation, but found that in the corridor outside, there wasn't a single soul to be seen.

He could only pinch his forehead helplessly and tried to contact the boy's guardian, his father, Jiang Huocheng but the monotone female voice answered him. "The number you're calling is not active—"
