To have such provocative words thrown directly at his face by a kid nearly ten years younger than him—one could easily imagine Takeo Kobayashi’s mood at that moment.

Furious, violent!

Takeo’s face turned green, looking as if he had been slapped squarely across the cheek.

"Instruct you?!" He asked.

Unable to contain himself any longer, Takeo charged right in front of Quillan and roared at the top of his lungs, "Hey, you! Are you saying you want me to instruct you on what makes a real man?! Do you have any idea that I’m a black-belt level powerhouse in karate, despite wearing a contraption like this?!"

Saying that, Takeo ripped the gold-rimmed glasses off the bridge of his nose, slammed them onto the room’s carpet, and stomped on them with his foot!

Rough. If one had to use a single word to describe Takeo’s current behavior, it would be "rough"!

Clearly, Takeo was currently in a berserk state. After stomping the gold glasses to pieces, he tore off his suit jacket. That’s right—Takeo didn’t politely take off his jacket, he ripped it off!

After tearing off his jacket, Takeo let out another loud roar, looking imposing and full of himself.

He did all this with a menacing expression on his face, yet when he turned his eyes toward Quillan, Takeo was met with disappointment.

Quillan’s face didn’t show even a trace of panic. On the contrary, he appeared exceptionally calm, even exuding a relaxed vibe—as if he weren’t a party involved in the conflict at all, but merely a passerby.

The expression on Quillan’s face was quite intriguing as well. Carrying a subtle smile, he stared straight at Takeo as if watching a free street performance. Quillan’s expression almost seemed to say: Uh, my good man, your performance is quite spectacular! Please don’t stop, I want to keep watching! Do continue...

Finally, after ripping off his jacket, Takeo tore open his white shirt, exposing his muscles inside!

All joking aside, Takeo wasn’t just bragging. Judging from his physique, his claim of being a black-belt level karate practitioner was likely genuine!

"Hey, you’re Quillan, right?"

With his chest bared, Takeo currently looked like a fierce beast showing its fangs. However, in Quillan’s eyes, this fierce beast was at most on par with a stray dog named Spot—nothing more!

Takeo shouted Quillan’s name provocatively, then began cursing, "Bastard, don’t think that because I wore a suit and glasses earlier, I’m some refined gentleman—that was just acting civil in front of Uncle and Cousin Norika! Now you’ve completely enraged me, and since you asked me to teach you how to be a real man... then I’ll teach you a good lesson!"

"Then should I express my gratitude for your guidance, Cousin Takeo?" Quillan replied, laughing happily! That was because out of the corner of his eye, he had caught a glimpse of Gyosuke Harada’s face, which looked exceedingly grim!

How could it not be grim?

That fool Takeo Kobayashi had actually blurted out his inner secret right in front of Mr. and Mrs. Harada and Norika, openly declaring that he had only put on a polite, gentle facade because of Gyosuke’s presence!

What did that imply? Didn’t it mean that he, Takeo, was actually an unrefined thug deep down?

How could anyone let Norika end up with a person like that, relative or not?

Yet if Quillan hadn’t shown up today, everyone probably would have been fooled by Takeo’s act.

Gyosuke was thoroughly displeased. He shot an unhappy glance at his wife, Kaori Harada, and let out a cold snort. Kaori, meanwhile, lowered her head, looking utterly embarrassed.

After all, Takeo was her nephew. Yet right now, he was acting like a crude hooligan—simply terrible!

However, Kaori didn’t say anything either. That was just how Japanese women were: once a woman married out, she was like spilled water. Although American women shared a similar concept, in Japan, a married woman even changed her surname to adopt her husband’s family name!

Someone in Kaori’s position naturally found it improper to lecture Takeo, even if he was her junior relative!

When Norika heard that Quillan didn’t refuse Takeo’s offer to spar and had actually agreed to it, she felt extremely surprised—and at the same time, worried for Quillan!

Although Quillan was merely her fake boyfriend, he was still her student after all. Furthermore, Norika knew nothing about Quillan’s martial capabilities; she only knew he was seventeen years old and couldn’t possibly be a match for her cousin Takeo. So she spoke up to warn him: "Quillan-kun, whatever you do, don’t agree to my cousin! He really is a black-belt karate practitioner, and a 3rd-dan powerhouse at that!"

"Isn’t it a bit too late to refuse now?"

At this moment, Takeo somehow pulled out a white headband from somewhere and tied it around his forehead. Four characters were written on the headband: Victory is Mine, Arise!

A torn shirt, suit pants rolled up to his knees, topped off with a headband reading Arise...

Seeing Takeo dressed in this attire, Quillan burst out laughing on the spot. With a snort, he looked at Takeo, shook his head, and said, "Cousin Takeo, this outfit of yours is truly unique!"

"Hey, cut the nonsense!" Takeo had already assumed a fighting stance, glaring at Quillan as he said, "Since you claim to be a real man yourself, come spar with me! If you can defeat me, I, Takeo Kobayashi, will never harass Cousin Norika ever again—how about it?"

Perhaps afraid that Quillan wouldn’t believe him, Takeo hastily added, "I swear in the name of a karate martial artist: what I, Takeo Kobayashi, say, I stick to!"

Quillan really felt like laughing, but since Takeo had backed himself into a corner with his own words, it seemed Quillan had no choice but to accept!

Because Quillan now had to prove that he was a man—a real man!

However, just as Quillan was about to accept Takeo’s challenge, Norika Harada stepped forward furiously...
