Chapter 2373: Five Heads Demon Servant

“The passage was surely dug by that brazen challenger earlier. He couldn’t win in battle, so he relied on the passage to escape. Truly cunning. Someone, follow the passage and explore it, see if there are enemies lying in ambush.”

The Eight-Armed Demon waved his hand and then turned around, returning to the base of the Demon Abyss.

As he walked into the Demon Abyss base, he felt something odd about the atmosphere around him, as all the Demons had peculiar expressions on their faces.

The Eight-Armed Demon approached a Demon he was close with: “What’s going on here?”

“We’ve got a visitor.”

The Spike Demon looked at the Eight-Armed Demon quietly.

Although he somewhat looked down on the Eight-Armed Demon, he had to admit the Eight-Armed Demon was powerful. Every time they fought a tough battle, he and his subordinates were always the first to charge forward like they were in frenzy.

The Spike Demon often served as the strategist for the Eight-Armed Demon, providing advice and plans.

Those who underestimated the Eight-Armed Demon wouldn’t know that the Spike War Demon’s recent increase in power was entirely thanks to the Eight-Armed Demon sharing a lot of precious materials with him.

“A visitor, what kind of visitor? Spike, let me tell you, earlier I led a group to open the passage outside and encountered an ambush.”

The Eight-Armed Demon recounted what happened outside to the Spike Demon, whose eyes lit up: “Aren’t you curious about what kind of visitor has arrived? Come with me, I’ll take you inside to see.”

“What? Go inside and see. Didn’t the Great Lord say I shouldn’t go in when there’s nothing? He doesn’t like me, you know that.”

The Eight-Armed Demon wanted to continue speaking but was pulled inside by the Spike Demon.

Demons had the authority to visit the Great Lord, and this time the Demon Abyss army attacking the Taoyuan World was named Frost Wolf.

The Emperor promoted from this attack on Immortal Mountain, unlike other established Emperors; although his power was decent, his status wasn’t that high. At least, many Demons thought so.

Following behind the Spike Demon, the Eight-Armed Demon entered, and as soon as they stepped into the inner hall, they heard an old voice angrily roaring: “How could this happen, Frost Wolf Army, I want to see Lord An Wen. Send me to Immortal Mountain. Despite my long years in Taoyuan World, my efforts have been bitter if not fruitful. I disagree with his arrangements.”

“This fellow, is he a human from Taoyuan World?”

Eight-Armed Demon raised his eyebrows slightly.

He had contempt for the humans from Taoyuan World. After all, these beings, like those from Immortal Mountain, were invaders.

They drove the Demon Clan into the Demon Abyss, while they themselves enjoyed the riches of the Immortal Mountain Realm and Taoyuan World.

“Don’t concern yourself with that. Follow me.”

The Spike Demon glanced at the Eight-Armed Demon and then walked forward.

“Great Lord, I have matters to report alongside Eight-Arms.”

The Spike Demon bowed slightly, looking at the Frost Wolf Demon Monarch and said.

The Frost Wolf Demon Monarch nodded with satisfaction, the old west desolation demon known as the Five Heads Demon Servant, was already exceptionally formidable even when he was just a Demon.

However, the Demon Monarchs of the Demon Abyss were all suppressing people from the An Wen lineage.

Five Heads Demon Servant hailed from the Attendant Student of An Wen Demon Monarch, caught in a minor mistake, faced the extreme penalty.

But those Demon Monarchs underestimated the status and influence of An Wen Demon Monarch in the Demon Abyss.

Though it’s said that An Wen Demon Monarch’s father committed grave offenses in the past, An Wen Demon Monarch still diligently worked for Demon Abyss.

They claimed that An Wen Demon Monarch shouldn’t be a leader due to his father’s deeds.

Yet behind the scenes, they feared An Wen Demon Monarch was too powerful, hence the leader-class Demon Monarchs shrank back in the matter of Five Heads Demon Servant.

They chose to send Five Heads Demon Servant away from the Demon Abyss to avoid appearing in public front of the Demon clan, implying they had suppressed An Wen Demon Monarch.

Five Heads Demon Servant’s whereabouts were unknown to the Frost Wolf Demon Monarch at that time. But before coming to Taoyuan World, An Wen Demon Monarch summoned him.

An Wen Demon Monarch told Frost Wolf Demon Monarch that Five Heads Demon Servant was in Taoyuan World, and he had been serving as the City Lord of West Desolation City dressed as a human.

However, Tang Mosheng’s son reclaimed West Desolation City; Five Heads Demon Servant had to leave for Demon Abyss Sea.

An Wen Demon Monarch informed Frost Wolf Demon Monarch, due to certain matters, he couldn’t go to Taoyuan World’s front line, so when Five Heads Demon Servant found him, he was to present a letter written by An Wen Demon Monarch. Allow Five Heads Demon Servant to stay in Taoyuan World, assisting Frost Wolf Demon Monarch.

Frost Wolf Demon Monarch didn’t want Five Heads Demon Servant to stay, but despite being a Demon Monarch, he didn’t dare defy An Wen Demon Monarch’s will, so begrudgingly agreed.

Yet Frost Wolf Demon Monarch didn’t expect Five Heads Demon Servant to be so ungrateful. After reading An Wen Demon Monarch’s letter, he angrily sought to meet An Wen Demon Monarch.

Just then, Spike Demon brought Eight-Armed Demon inside, which provided a diversion.

Frost Wolf Demon Monarch always felt Spike Demon was a promising talent, now it seemed indeed so.

“Spike, what’s the matter? Speak.”

Frost Wolf Demon Monarch smiled at Spike Demon.

Spike Demon nodded and then pointed towards Eight-Armed Demon: “This matter was discovered by Eight-Arms. As we opened the Plane passage and arrived at the base left by previous Great Lords, we encountered enemies. They identified themselves as followers of the Blood Ancestor, and killed many of Eight-Arms’ subordinates.”

“Followers of the Blood Ancestor? Of course, it’s those guys. They’re plundering wealth on islands of the Demon Abyss Sea. Many islanders previously allied with us have become followers of this so-called Blood Ancestor.”

The pupils of Five Heads Demon Servant narrowed, he raised his head and spoke.

Frost Wolf Demon Monarch listened to Five Heads Demon Servant’s words and let out a sigh of relief, finally having something to redirect Five Heads Demon Servant’s emotions.

“Well, Brother Five Heads, tell me clearly what’s happening here.”

Frost Wolf Demon Monarch looked at Five Heads Demon Servant.

Five Heads Demon Servant nodded, just as An Wen Demon Monarch said, the Frost Wolf Demon Monarch, despite having reached the Realm of a Demon Monarch, was lacking in strategy.

Staying here as Supervisor might be an opportunity to return to the stage. Also, using his power to restore himself would reduce An Wen’s consumption of essence.

Thinking of this, Five Heads Demon Servant took a deep breath; “Alright, let me tell you about the Blood Ancestor Divine Sect. This sect originated from a place known as the Blood God Plane, and it serves the Sovereign of that Plane. That Sovereign’s strength is formidable; even if the previous Great Lord were alive, he’d likely be no match.”

“So powerful?”

Frost Wolf Demon Monarch swallowed hard.
