Chapter 560: Demon Slaying Slash
“Teleport us to Grandpa Fang’s house,” Yuan commanded the Secret Realm to teleport them to the Fang Family’s manor.
«Teleporting to the Fang Family’s manor… 3… 2… 1…»
Before they could blink, a bright light enveloped them, and when they opened their eyes, they found themselves in the front yard of the house, shocking everyone with the sudden method of travel.
Since becoming the Master of the Secret Realm, information about it had poured directly into Yuan’s mind, granting him knowledge of all its functions. As the Master, Yuan had complete control over the realm and could teleport anywhere within it at will. Furthermore, he could bring as many people as he wanted along with him.
Grandpa Fang and Grandma Fang looked at Yuan with surprise. “When Xiaoyan said you’d become the Master of the Secret Realm, she wasn’t joking. She was telling the truth,” Grandpa Fang said.
“Only the Master can teleport anywhere in the Secret Realm at will… You really have become the Master,” Grandma Fang added with a nod and a smile.
She continued, “Young man, now that you’re the Master of the Secret Realm, we are your servants, as promised to our Lord. You can command us to do anything, even if the request is unreasonable.”
“That’s right, Yuan. From now on, you’re our new Lord, and we will be loyal to you no matter what,” Grandpa Fang said, nodding and bowing his head in courtesy.
He then turned to Fang Xiaoyan and said, “Xiaoyan, from now on, you must serve Yuan with all your heart. He is your Lord, and you should honor him.”
“I understand, Grandpa,” Fang Xiaoyan replied, nodding slightly, her face blushing a little as she glanced at Yuan.
A few seconds later, Fang Xiaoyan faced Yuan with a calm expression. “My Lord, from now on, this body belongs to you. You may do whatever you wish with me, and I will ensure that no harm befalls you. I will protect you with my life.”
“What?!” Yuan and his wives cried out in disbelief. It was difficult for them to imagine Fang Xiaoyan calling Yuan her Lord. The idea seemed too far-fetched, and they could only stare at her, dumbfounded.
“Xiaoyan, you can just call me by my name. There’s no need for such formalities,” Yuan said awkwardly.
“No, that won’t do,” Fang Xiaoyan shook her head firmly. “You are my Lord now, and as your servant, I must address you properly. This is my duty as a loyal servant.”
“What? That can’t be… I don’t like being addressed by such a title. It doesn’t suit me,” Yuan sighed deeply, clearly uncomfortable.
At this moment, Grandpa Fang chuckled. “Yuan, don’t force her to do something she doesn’t want to. We’re a very traditional family, and we take our customs seriously.”
“Xiaoyan was raised in this environment, so she honors our traditions deeply. It’s impossible to make her disregard them. It’s in her blood,” Grandpa Fang explained.
“So let her call you whatever she wishes. And don’t forget to impregnate her soon, so we can have a grandchild!” Grandma Fang added with a wide, mischievous grin, making Fang Xiaoyan blush even more.
“Well, about that…” Yuan hesitated, unsure how to respond. He wasn’t ready to become a father just yet; after all, he was only 19.
“What?! Don’t tell me you dislike my granddaughter!” Grandma Fang exclaimed, her face contorting with shock. “Look how beautiful she is! There’s no way you don’t like her figure and… her generous assets!”
“It’s not that,” Yuan replied quietly.
“Then what?” Grandma Fang asked, narrowing her eyes.
“I do like Fang Xiaoyan, and I’ve accepted her confession. It’s just… I’m too young to have a child right now. I’m not ready for that kind of responsibility,” Yuan explained after a brief pause.
“Is that all?” Grandma Fang asked, finding his reasoning a bit amusing.
“Yes. I have many things to do and can’t handle raising a child just yet,” Yuan admitted.
“I see… But you should know that Xiaoyan isn’t human—she’s a divine beast. Divine beasts can take more than ten thousand years to give birth, so you won’t have to worry about the responsibility anytime soon,” Grandma Fang explained.
“What?!” Yuan and his wives were left speechless, all shouting in disbelief at this revelation.
“That’s right. Divine Beasts like us take a very long time to give birth, and our birth rate is quite low as well,” Fang Ling’s voice suddenly resounded from the distance as she emerged from the house, having heard the commotion outside.
“And if you make her pregnant now, Xiaoyan will give birth to a child ten thousand years later. So, you don’t need to worry about responsibility for a very long time,” Fang Ling added with a smile, standing beside the embarrassed Fang Xiaoyan.
“Is that so…” Yuan mumbled in a dazed voice. fгeewebnovёl.com
A few minutes later, they went inside, where Fang Ling had already prepared breakfast for them. They headed directly to the dining room, where numerous light dishes were neatly arranged on the table.
“You’ve prepared quite the feast for us so early in the morning, Aunt Ling,” Yuan remarked with a smile as he gazed at the dishes, all of which looked unique and delicious.
“Eat as much as you want. We have plenty of food,” Fang Ling said, smiling as she took a seat beside Fang Xiaoyan.
After breakfast, Yuan made an announcement to everyone in the Secret Realm, informing them that he had become the Master of the Secret Realm, shocking everyone in Xian City.
“What?! The Secret Realm has a new Master?! Unbelievable…!”
“To think someone managed to become the Master of the Secret Realm… Just how talented must this individual be to be recognized by the realm?”
The people of the Secret Realm were in shock after hearing the announcement, which echoed throughout the entire realm. A few moments later, Yuan’s voice resounded again, attracting everyone’s attention.
“Although I’ve become the Master of the Secret Realm, I can’t set you all free or let anyone out. The outside world doesn’t have any cultivators or anything related to cultivation. Aside from us, there are no other cultivators in that world.”
He continued, “If I let any of you out, it would upset the balance of the world, and I don’t want that to happen. I don’t want anyone running rampant and creating chaos. Therefore, I’ve decided not to free you for now.”
“In the future, once I reach the Nine Heavens, where there are many cultivators, I will release you all from this realm, allowing you to leave,” Yuan concluded, explaining his reasoning for not freeing them yet.
After hearing the announcement, most of the people in the Secret Realm understood Yuan’s decision and accepted it, although some were dissatisfied, which was to be expected.
Once the announcement ended, Yuan sat in the Fang family’s backyard in a lotus position. He retrieved the ‘Demon Slaying Sword Slash’ technique from his system storage and began reading it.
A few minutes after starting to read, Yuan unknowingly entered a trance, allowing him to immerse himself fully in the technique, as though time was moving slowly around him.
After an unknown amount of time, Yuan was snapped out of his daze by a sharp notification from the system.
«You have learned Demon Slaying Slash»
—
«Demon Slaying Slash»
«Rank: Divine»
«Mastery Level: 1»
«Description: A sword technique used to slay demons that once corrupted the Nine Heavens with their malice.»
“Huh? I already learned the technique… That was fast…” Yuan mumbled to himself.
“With this technique, I can now eradicate the demons living in this Secret Realm. That way, the people here won’t be in danger, and even children could roam freely outside the city walls,” Yuan said, his expression turning serious.
Even though he had never met a demon, he felt an intense disgust toward them, as if he had a past encounter. This puzzled him, as he couldn’t understand why he felt such deep hatred toward demons.
“Hoho, it seems you’ve just learned a Demon Slaying technique. Are you planning to slay the demons in the underground cave?” Grandpa Fang asked with an amused expression.
“That’s right. I acquired this technique inside the pagoda and decided to learn it so I could eliminate the demons in the Secret Realm,” Yuan replied with a smile before tossing the technique back into his system storage.
‘To think he could learn a Divine Rank technique in just a few hours… What a monster!’ Grandpa Fang thought, deeply shocked by Yuan’s comprehension ability, which allowed him to master a Divine Rank technique so quickly.
‘If he impregnates our Xiaoyan, wouldn’t their child also be a monster, just like him?’ A wide smile appeared on Grandpa Fang’s face as he imagined the possibility of having a monstrously talented grandchild.
“I was speechless for a moment after seeing you learn a Divine Rank technique in such a short amount of time… It would have taken me at least three or four years to master that technique,” Grandpa Fang said after a pause.
Then he sighed. “But alas, I can’t learn that technique.”
“And why is that? I don’t mind lending you the technique for a few years,” Yuan asked with a puzzled expression.
Grandpa Fang took a deep breath before explaining, “As a Divine Beast, I can’t learn any technique related to demon slaying because we are unable to use the Demon Slaying Aura.”
“But I could sense a very powerful Demon Slaying Aura coming from you while you were learning the technique. With such an aura, you’ll be a formidable Demon Slayer in the future,” Grandpa Fang said, clearly impressed.
A few minutes later, Yuan informed his two mothers and his wives that he planned to eradicate the demons with Fang Xiaoyan and Xi Meili, which shocked them.
“Darling, aren’t you going to take us with you? We can help you fight the demons…” Grace said, her face showing sadness as she didn’t want to be separated from her son again.
Anna added, “That’s right, we’re strong enough to fight them. So take us with you.”
“Unfortunately, I can’t take you with me. I don’t want to risk losing any of you. The demons are cruel and could use any means to harm or kill us. It’s safer if I go with Xi Meili and Fang Xiaoyan,” Yuan explained gently.
Grandpa Fang stepped in, saying, “Yuan is right. Demons are pure evil, and they won’t hesitate to escape from this prison and cause carnage in the world. They won’t let any opportunity slip.”
“It’s better if you don’t accompany him. That way, he won’t have to worry about protecting you while he fights the demons.”
After hearing Grandpa Fang’s explanation, Anna and the others reluctantly agreed and allowed Yuan to go demon hunting with Xi Meili and Fang Xiaoyan.
