My Celestial Ascension

Chapter 558: The Master Of The Secret Realm

As soon as Yuan’s blood touched the altar, it was immediately absorbed, and the entire Secret Realm began to shake violently, causing widespread panic once again.

“What’s happening?! Why is the Secret Realm trembling again?!”

The citizens of Xian City hurried outside, fearing their homes might collapse from the violent shaking. Some were so terrified by the phenomenon that they fell to their knees, praying for safety.

Meanwhile, at the Fang Family manor outside Xian City, Grandpa Fang and Grandma Fang were peacefully sipping tea as the morning sun began to rise. Even though the sun was artificial, created by a powerful formation, it felt and looked real, waking everyone up as it illuminated the realm.

However, the sudden violent shaking forced everyone to scramble out of bed, fearing the worst.

“What’s going on? Why is the Secret Realm shaking again?” Grandpa Fang muttered, placing his teacup down with a concerned expression.

“Perhaps it’s related to him again—our future grandson-in-law. Fufu~” Grandma Fang chuckled, setting her cup down as well.

Grandpa Fang suddenly stood up and said, “Let’s go check. I can feel a profound aura coming from the Lord’s Pagoda. They might be the cause of this.”

“You’re right. I can sense City Lord Wu Ping heading there with a few guards,” Grandma Fang added, her expression serious.

“We need to get there before they do. No time to waste.”

As they prepared to leave, Grandma Fang called out, “Fang Ling, we’re going out for a bit. Prepare breakfast while we’re away.”

“Understood. Leave everything to me,” Fang Ling’s voice echoed from inside the house.

With that, Grandpa and Grandma Fang soared into the sky, speeding toward the Red Pagoda, determined to arrive before City Lord Wu Ping and his men.

“It must be him… No one else could cause such a disturbance…” Grandpa Fang muttered as they flew.

“Who else in the Secret Realm is as talented? He’s a prodigy with no equals, except maybe his wives,” Grandma Fang chuckled softly.

Inside the pagoda, Yuan and his wives waited for the trembling to stop, anticipating the moment the realm would recognize him as its master.

“How long do you think it will take for the Secret Realm to acknowledge me?” Yuan asked Fang Xiaoyan.

“I’m not sure,” Fang Xiaoyan sighed, shrugging.

Suddenly, the shaking stopped, and the altar vanished, leaving only the glowing sword hovering above the floor.

Ding!

[Congratulations! The Secret Realm has recognized you as its Master! You are now the Master of the Secret Realm!]

[You have obtained the title: Master of the Secret Realm!]

[You now have full control over the Secret Realm!]

“Uh… I guess I’m officially the Master of the Secret Realm now,” Yuan said, turning to his wives, who were visibly shocked.

“What?! That’s amazing!” Xi Meili shouted, her face lighting up with excitement as she leaped into his arms.

Yuan barely managed to catch her, sighing in relief before kissing her forehead. “Didn’t I tell you to stop doing dangerous things like that? Be careful, okay?”

“Mm, okay, hubby!” Xi Meili nodded, planting a kiss on his cheek before he let her down.

“Haha~ A dumb lizard, only good for jumping,” Fang Xiaoyan teased, laughing at Xi Meili.

“What did you say?! You bitch!” Xi Meili hissed in fury. How dare this roasted chicken insult a Primordial Dragon? Unforgivable!

Yuan blinked in disbelief. Did she really just say that? It was the first time he’d heard her use such vulgar language, and he could hardly believe his ears.

Anna and the others were just as shocked, staring at Xi Meili in stunned silence. They had never expected something so crude to come from her cute mouth.

“You… it’s pointless arguing with a brainless lizard. Hmph!” Fang Xiaoyan scoffed, irritation clear on her face.

“Hmph! I don’t want to argue with a dumb chicken either,” Xi Meili retorted, hugging Yuan tightly as if trying to make Fang Xiaoyan jealous.

“You little—!” Fang Xiaoyan started, but quickly calmed herself, knowing it was pointless to argue further.

“Alright, there’s no need to fight anymore. You two will be sisters after all,” Yuan chuckled, noticing the furious look on Xi Meili’s face.

Xi Meili placed her hand on his cheek, looking at him seriously. “Hubby, I don’t want that *bitch* to be my sister. Don’t make her your woman—she smells like chicken poop.”

‘This lizard!’ Fang Xiaoyan muttered inwardly, frustrated by Xi Meili’s insult. *One day, I swear I’ll teach her a proper lesson for mocking me!*

“Haha~ Why don’t you want to be sisters with Fang Xiaoyan? She’s a kind woman. I’m sure you’ll get along one day,” Yuan said, wondering if Xi Meili was acting on some deeper instinct, perhaps tied to her bloodline.

“Because that bitch bullies me and calls me a dumb lizard! But you know I’m a dragon, not a lizard, right?” Xi Meili pouted, tears welling up in her eyes, though Yuan could tell they were fake.

“Is that so…” Yuan chuckled awkwardly. “Let me kiss those beautiful lips of yours—you’ll feel better.”

Xi Meili nodded, wiping away her tears before closing her eyes. Yuan leaned in, their lips meeting, his hands wrapping around her slender waist. He kissed her deeply, slipping his tongue into her mouth. Xi Meili stole a quick glance at Fang Xiaoyan, who was glaring at them jealously, before wrapping her arms around Yuan’s neck.

The kiss lasted several minutes, with Xi Meili reluctant to end it, and Yuan obliged her.

Moments later, Yuan sensed two powerful presences rapidly approaching and immediately alerted the others. “Someone’s coming toward the pagoda—they’re incredibly strong!” Yuan’s voice had a note of panic, knowing he wasn’t yet a Spirit Grandmaster and wouldn’t stand a chance against two Spirit Lords.

Fang Xiaoyan chuckled. “Relax, it’s just my grandpa and grandma. They must’ve noticed the disturbance caused by the pagoda.”

“I see… Then we should meet them outside to ease their worries,” Anna suggested with a smile.

“Agreed. Let’s head out. There’s nothing left to explore inside,” Yuan said, nodding.

Before leaving, Yuan collected a black robe and white mask from the wall where the ‘Lord’ once stayed, storing them in his system. The mask would come in handy if he ever needed to hide his identity—though that was unlikely in this realm. However, he figured it might be useful when he returned to Earth.

Outside the Red Pagoda, Grandma Fang and Grandpa Fang landed on the ground, their eyes on the tightly shut iron door.

“The door is still closed, but I can sense their presence inside,” Grandma Fang muttered, a note of surprise in her voice.

“How did they manage to get inside? Was the door opened?” Grandpa Fang asked, puzzled by how Yuan and the others accessed the pagoda, which had been sealed since their Lord left the Secret Realm.

“The door must be unlocked now, since Yuan, his wives, and our granddaughter are inside,” Grandma Fang speculated.

“Let’s try,” Grandpa Fang nodded, approaching the iron door.

As they neared, the door suddenly trembled and swung open. Fang Xiaoyan emerged, calling out, “Grandpa! Grandma! What are you two doing here?”

“We sensed the commotion and rushed over to make sure you were all safe,” Grandma Fang said, pulling her granddaughter into a hug.

Then, she whispered, “Did you manage to win his heart during the Harvest Festival?”

Fang Xiaoyan blushed, nodding shyly. “Umm.”

“That’s wonderful!” Grandma Fang exclaimed, kissing her granddaughter’s forehead in excitement. She hugged Fang Xiaoyan tightly, her heart swelling with happiness.

“You’ve finally accepted your feelings, Xiaoyan. I’m so happy for you! Now all that’s left is for you to get pregnant and give us a grandchild,” Grandma Fang added with a wide grin, her smile stretching from ear to ear.

Grandpa Fang raised an eyebrow suspiciously. “What are you two whispering about over there? Can’t you let me in on the conversation?”

Grandma Fang chuckled. “Well, you old fool, there’s some good news! Our granddaughter has finally accepted her feelings and taken Yuan as her husband,” she said, her grin growing even wider.

“What?! Is that true, Xiaoyan?” Grandpa Fang was speechless.

Fang Xiaoyan blushed and nodded silently in response.

Grandpa Fang beamed. “So, when can we expect a grandchild? Now that you’re his wife, you should start thinking about having children.”

“Stop it, you two! Don’t say such embarrassing things in front of everyone!” Fang Xiaoyan shouted, clearly frustrated with her grandparents’ teasing.

A few moments later, Grandpa Fang turned to Yuan and asked, “So, Yuan, what happened? How did you manage to enter the pagoda?”

“Well, to be honest, even we don’t really know. As soon as I got close to the pagoda, the iron door just opened by itself,” Yuan explained, recalling the events before they entered.

“Is that so? Could you take us inside? We’ve always wanted to see it—the Lord’s cabin where he stayed before disappearing from the Secret Realm,” Grandpa Fang requested.

Yuan smiled and nodded. “Of course. Follow me inside, but we should hurry before the door shuts itself again.”
