My Celestial Ascension

Chapter 527: Blessing In Disguise

Suddenly, a few meters above the ground, the center of the stone gate, which was hollow and allowed a clear view through to the other side, shattered like fragile glass.

The cracks gradually expanded until they were large enough to easily fit five people, revealing a dark space within. The cracked space began to absorb the spiritual energy from the atmosphere, causing the stone gate to tremble momentarily.

“W-What the hell is happening?!”

“What is that crack in the space? I’ve never seen anything like this before—it’s so mysterious!”

“Is some kind of monster going to emerge from that hole?”

The guards from the Roth family panicked as soon as the gate to the secret realm opened, revealing the path inside. They had never witnessed something so profound before, making them deeply anxious.

Robert Roth, the young master of the prestigious Roth family, was also terrified as he stared at the massive crack within the stone gate. His legs trembled with fear. The sight was utterly foreign to mortals, and no one had ever encountered anything like it, making them all very wary of such a unique phenomenon.

“Marvelous… This is something so incredible that it must be recorded in history books. I never imagined I’d witness such a miracle with my own eyes,” Mr. Walton, the leader of the archaeologists, mumbled, dumbfounded and seemingly in disbelief.

“What do you mean by that, Mr. Walton? Isn’t this quite dangerous?!” Robert looked at him with a mix of confusion and disbelief. He couldn’t comprehend what Mr. Walton found so “marvelous” about this phenomenon.

“If this isn’t marvelous, then what is? Such a phenomenon, devoid of any mana and yet formed by nature itself, is beyond extraordinary!” Mr. Walton exclaimed, his eyes sparkling with fascination.

Meanwhile, Yuan and his wives observed the crack in the space with eager expressions. After waiting so long, they could finally enter the secret realm. At the same time, they felt a bit nervous, as Xi Meili had warned them they might get separated once they entered the Secret Realm.

Yuan then turned to his wives with a wide grin and asked, “The entrance to the Secret Realm is open. Are you all ready to venture inside?”

“We’re ready. Let’s go!” his wives responded, their faces alight with excitement and anticipation.

This secret realm promised not only to be highly beneficial for them but also to make them stronger. Mythical treasures awaited in every corner of the secret realm, ready to be discovered by them. If they were destined to find these treasures, their cultivation would improve significantly, making them stronger than before.

The realm was also a place of enlightenment, where they could learn and grow from the experience.

“Then let’s not waste any time, shall we?” Yuan said before moving toward the massive crack in the space, his wives following with eager anticipation.

With that, they all jumped into the massive spatial crack, their figures vanishing into it.

After entering the spatial crack, Yuan suddenly found himself floating in a dark, eerie place. There was no light or sound—just a void, with nothing around him.

“You finally came here… I’ve been waiting for you for a very long time.”

Suddenly, Yuan heard a familiar voice inside his head. It was very similar to the voice of the statue from the Forest of Never Return.

The accent was the same, and it closely resembled the godly voice he had heard before being reincarnated into this world. He couldn’t help but wonder if these events were mere coincidences or if they were fated.

“Now that you’re here, enter the secret realm quickly and leave everything to fate. Fate will guide you to your destination… You’re still weak, so I’ve left something good for you.”

After saying this, the voice faded away, leaving Yuan both confused and shocked.

“What was that all about?” Yuan mumbled, bewildered.

Suddenly, he noticed a bright light ahead. Focusing his gaze, he saw a portal leading out of the dark place. To his surprise, he could now feel solid ground beneath his feet.

“That portal should let me out of here… I wonder what that mysterious figure left behind for me inside this secret realm,” Yuan muttered before stepping into the portal, his vision blurring for a split second.

Suddenly, Yuan found himself in the middle of a forest, with only three massive rocks scattered around the area. However, what shocked him the most was that his cultivation had vanished, returning him to the First Level Spirit Apprentice realm.

“What happened to my cultivation?! Why did it revert to the First Level Spirit Apprentice from the Second Level Spirit Grandmaster?!”

Yuan was in disbelief as he sensed how drastically his cultivation had dropped after emerging from the strange void-like place. He couldn’t help but wonder if this was some sort of side effect from entering that space.

However, since his cultivation had already been downgraded, there was nothing he could do about it besides cultivating again to regain his former strength.

“What a hassle. I have to cultivate again to regain my former strength. This is really unfortunate, but perhaps it could also be a blessing in disguise.” After pondering for a moment, he decided to stay positive, hoping that this setback might eventually bring some good fortune.

He then looked up at the bright, clear blue sky and mumbled, “I hope my two moms, my big sister, and my wives are doing well and are also staying positive.”

Subconsciously, he opened his ‘status,’ and a blue translucent window appeared in front of his eyes.

“What the heck?! I need ten times more Qi to increase my cultivation now…This is unbelievable!” Yuan stared at his stats and the requirement for a breakthrough with wide eyes, seemingly in disbelief.

“I can’t believe it. How could this be happening to me? Was this the work of that voice I heard in my mind?” Yuan wondered, feeling deeply confused about his situation.

Now he would have to exert ten times more effort to increase his cultivation, which was simply too troublesome since it would take much more time to break through a single cultivation level.

Just then, he remembered something that eased his mind considerably. “Ah…Now that I think about it, I can use those Spirit Warrior and Spirit Master Level Monster Cores I bought from Roth City in the past to quickly increase my cultivation base.”

“Sigh! How could I forget something so important? I’m such an idiot!” He cursed himself for overlooking such a crucial resource.

Moreover, he possessed the Heaven Devouring Physique, yet he knew nothing about it and had yet to figure out what kind of benefits his special physique might offer.

“I’ll figure out my physique later once we go to the Nine Heavens. After all, in the Nine Heavens, everyone is a cultivator.” Yuan mused to himself before sitting cross-legged, preparing to start his cultivation.

He retrieved the monster cores from his system storage and placed them before him on top of clean leaves, intending to consume them one by one, starting with the monster cores from the Spirit Warrior Realm.

“However, I should first cultivate using my cultivation technique to reach the Spirit Warrior realm. After that, I’ll use these monster cores to increase my cultivation,” Yuan thought before closing his eyes and focusing his mind on absorbing the spiritual energy from the atmosphere.

«Empyreal Consumption skill has been activated!»

«+7690 Qi»

«+8209 Qi»

«You have absorbed enough Qi for a breakthrough.»

«You have reached Second Level Spirit Apprentice.»

«All stats +150»

In just half a minute of cultivation, Yuan had a breakthrough and reached the second level.

“Not only did I make a breakthrough within half a minute, but I also gained fifty extra stat points to all my stats… This is indeed a blessing in disguise.” Yuan was overjoyed after learning about the benefits of his cultivation.

A few seconds later, he advanced to the third level, and so on.

«You have absorbed enough Qi for a breakthrough.»

«You have reached Third Level Spirit Apprentice.»

«You have reached Fourth Level Spirit Apprentice.»

«You have reached Fifth Level Spirit Apprentice.»

«You have reached Sixth Level Spirit Apprentice.»

In slightly less than half an hour since he started cultivating, Yuan had managed to increase his cultivation base by an entire realm, reaching the First Level Spirit Warrior with ease.

«You have reached First Level Spirit Warrior.»

«All stats +1500»

“Incredible… My cultivation speed is incredibly fast! Is it because the spiritual energy here is ten times denser than in the outside world?” Yuan couldn’t help but feel shocked at his ridiculously fast cultivation speed.

Just half an hour ago, he was a First Level Spirit Apprentice, and now he had reached the First Level Spirit Warrior. His cultivation speed was almost unbelievable—utterly ridiculous.

“My stats have increased quite a lot, and they’re much better than when I was at the First Level Spirit Warrior before… I can also feel that my strength has increased significantly.” Yuan looked at his stats with sparkling eyes, clearly surprised.

«You have completed the mission: Secret Realm.»

«You have been rewarded with a Ninth Level Spirit Grandmaster Realm Monster Core.»

«The reward is stored inside the System’s Storage.»

“Well, I almost forgot about that mission, and it got completed just like that… It seems that making love with my wives made me forget everything.” Yuan sighed, looking at the system notification.

Meanwhile, outside the Secret Realm, Robert Roth, Mr. Walton, and everyone else stared at the entrance to the secret realm as it slowly closed after Yuan and his wives went inside, leaving them speechless.

“What the hell just happened? Did they just enter that strange hole?” Robert mumbled in a dazed voice, seemingly in disbelief.

“Apparently, that is the case…” Mr. Walton nodded before saying, “Young Master Roth, we should inform your father about this situation. It’s better to let him handle it; it could potentially be disastrous for us.”

Robert thought for a moment, then looked at the stone gate for a few seconds before nodding his head. “You’re right. We should prepare ourselves for the worst, and we should also inform the Kingdom about the situation.”

“Indeed, Young Master Roth. Lady Valeria is directly involved in this case, so we’d better not cover it up.” Mr. Walton nodded with a smile.
