Chapter 503: Little Zoe Wants To Become Strong
Miss Zara and Little Zoe eagerly listened to Yuan and his wives’ story about their adventure inside the Forest of Never Return, not missing a single word. As Yuan and his wives continued to recount their encounters with powerful magical beasts, Miss Zara and Zoe couldn’t help but be amazed. They never imagined Yuan and his wives would fight and defeat such formidable magical monsters.
It took them almost an hour and a half to tell their entire adventure inside the forest. By the end, Miss Zara and Zoe were speechless.
“Did Big Brother Yuan really fight with powerful magical monsters inside the creepy forest?” Little Zoe asked excitedly, her eyes sparkling as she looked at Yuan.
“That’s right. I fought with many powerful monsters inside the forest, each of them strong enough to destroy this city with ease,” Yuan replied with a smile, pulling the little girl close and making her sit on his lap.
“Really?!” The little girl became even more excited upon hearing this, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
“Hmph!” Lily looked at him with an envious look, wanting to have Little Zoe sit on her lap. Xi Meili also stared at Little Zoe with a cold and unfriendly look, jealousy evident in her eyes. She thought, ‘I also want to sit on hubby’s lap too…’
Little Zoe ignored the stares, focusing more on Yuan. She asked with a curious look, “Big Brother Yuan, how many monsters did you fight inside the forest? I’m really curious to know.”
“Well, I fought tens of thousands of monsters and defeated them with overwhelming power. Those monsters couldn’t do anything against me and ended up dying like chickens in a meat shop,” Yuan said with a wide grin, making Little Zoe look at him with wide eyes.
“Amazing, Big Brother Yuan! I also want to become strong, just like you!” Little Zoe said with a cheerful smile, her eyes showing an unwavering resolve.
“D-Don’t tell me you’re planning on becoming a warrior, Zoe? You should know that the path of a warrior is not easy,” Miss Zara said, looking at her daughter with a shocked expression.
“But I still want to become strong so I can fight powerful monsters and defeat them like Big Brother Yuan,” Little Zoe replied, looking at her mother with a determined look.
Miss Zara sighed and looked at her daughter with a sad expression.
‘She has a strong will to become strong… but we’re just commoners and don’t have the talent to wield powerful magic or become powerful warriors,’ she thought, wondering how to tell her daughter they don’t have the talent to become strong.
Yuan and his wives noticed Miss Zara’s strange expression and wondered what was wrong. She should feel happy that her daughter wanted to become strong, instead of feeling sad. But as she looked at her daughter’s determined smile, her expression softened.
“I believe in you, Zoe. One day you will become the strongest woman on the continent…”
“That’s right. I’ll become strong enough to defeat powerful monsters with one punch!” Little Zoe grinned widely, then looked at Valeria, her role model.
‘I don’t have the courage to tell her the truth and crush her hopes… I don’t have the heart to destroy her dreams,’ Miss Zara thought, wondering why they didn’t have the talent to become strong.
“Big Brother Yuan, can you teach me a fighting technique tomorrow? You’re very powerful, so you should know some really powerful fighting techniques!” Zoe asked, her excitement evident.
“You want me to teach you how to fight?” Yuan looked at the little girl with an amused expression.
“That’s right,” Little Zoe nodded with an excited smile. “I want you to teach me how to fight powerful monsters from tomorrow so I can become strong quickly. I can’t wait to defeat some powerful monsters.”
“Why don’t you ask your big sister Lily? I’m also very strong and can teach you some really powerful moves, you know?” Lily’s voice suddenly resounded in the room, making Little Zoe turn her head toward her.
“Did Big Sister Lily also fight with powerful monsters and defeat them?” Little Zoe asked, curiously looking at Lily.
“That’s right. I’ve defeated numerous powerful monsters along with everyone else.”
“Wow! Big Sister Lily is so amazing!”
“You have good eyes, Little Zoe! I’m more amazing than your big brother Yuan. Hahaha!” Lily laughed with a proud look on her face.
“Then will you teach me how to fight monsters, Big Sister Lily?”
“Of course, I would. Don’t worry, I’ll train you from tomorrow morning, okay?”
“I understand…” Little Zoe nodded with a big smile, extremely happy knowing that Lily would train her from tomorrow.
Yuan and his wives couldn’t help but smile at the innocent smile on her face, and Miss Zara also felt very happy seeing her daughter’s happiness. However, she felt sad inwardly.
Sometime later, it was about to get dark, and Miss Zara took Little Zoe with her to the kitchen as they needed to prepare food for the tenants staying at the Inn.
“There is something wrong with Miss Zara. She wasn’t happy when Little Zoe said she wanted to become strong to fight the monsters… It was very strange,” Yuan said to his wives with a serious look on his face, quite surprised to see Miss Zara act that way.
“I’ve also noticed it. But I don’t think it’s about her daughter wanting to become strong; it’s something else…” Rose added, feeling a bit confused about Miss Zara being sad all of a sudden.
“Perhaps it’s related to them being commoners… It’s very common for commoners to not have the talent to become strong except for a few of them,” Anna suddenly said, as if she could somehow understand Miss Zara’s sadness.
“Indeed,” Valeria nodded and sighed. “Most commoners don’t have the talent to wield powerful magic; they can only use common magic spells, such as lighting a fire or using wind magic to dry clothes.”
She continued, “And they also don’t have the talent for fighting. Hence why most common people choose to work normal jobs, such as making clothes, running an Inn, or becoming a servant for noble houses.”
“So, we can assume that Miss Zara is quite worried about Little Zoe not having the talent to fight or wield powerful magic. It could be either of those…” Grace mumbled, releasing a deep sigh, feeling that this was a bit unfair.
“This is truly unfair to the common people… Well, it’s not something that we can change,” Yuan sighed, feeling a bit of pity for Miss Zara and Little Zoe. “This is a world where the weak get devoured by the strong, after all.”
“It’s unfortunate and unfair… however, that is the truth of this world,” Grace mumbled in a dazed voice.
Mireya and Sylvia left the inn an hour later. Since they had been away from their establishment for a long time, they planned to check on how the business was doing.
Although the restaurant isn’t very important to them anymore since they have Yuan now, it was the first business they established after arriving on this continent, so they decided to visit the restaurant and check on it.
However, Valeria decided to stay with them. The royal family had invited her to stay at the royal palace, but she declined, saying that she would stay with Yuan and her other sisters.
“Shall we go to bed now? It’s quite late, and besides, we haven’t rested properly these past few days,” Valeria said, feeling a little sleepy since she was just a mage.
“Let’s go. You will be sleeping with us,” Yuan said, then turned toward Anna and Grace. “There won’t be enough space for us to sleep, so would you mind becoming one again?”
“Alright.” Anna and Grace nodded happily before a light covered their bodies and their figures began to merge with one another.
A few seconds later, a more beautiful and seductive version of both Anna and Grace stood where Anna and Grace had been. Her boobs were much bigger, her body was much curvier compared to Anna and Grace’s independent selves, and she was also slightly taller than Anna and Grace.
“W-What the hell is this? How did they become one person?” Valeria looked at the current version of both Anna and Grace with a look of disbelief, almost as though she had witnessed something impossible.
“Well, to tell you the truth, this is my true form, or should I say this is how I was born,” Anna Grace said with an awkward smile, not knowing how she should explain this to her new daughter-in-law.
Valeria then looked at Yuan with a very serious and curious expression. “My dear husband, can you explain to me what’s actually going on here and how Anna and Grace merged together and became one person?”
Yuan looked at her for a moment and sighed, then he explained everything to her, and it took almost half an hour to tell her everything and how his mother became two separate individuals.
After learning this, Valeria was shocked, seemingly in disbelief. She had never heard of something so absurd before, but knowing that Yuan and the others are cultivators and many things are possible that weren’t possible before, she couldn’t help but believe it.
