Chapter 415 Against The Giant Purple Lizards
Chapter 415 Against The Giant Purple Lizards
?Yuan smiled gently at General Valetia and said, “If my wife says I should participate, I won’t refuse. Besides, I have something to settle with that crazy bastard.”
“That guy dared to have nasty thoughts about my wives, and I will not let him go without being punished!” Yuan exclaimed, and then the Empyreal Oblivion emerged in his grasp, a magnificent, beautiful sword with enormous power.
‘Sp gorgeous and powerful…Is this the sword my hubby uses? It’s so big!’ General Valesia was amazed by the presence of such a big sword and began to wonder how heavy it would be.
‘How does he manage that thing with one hand? Isn’t that sword extremely heavy?!’ Sylvia was taken aback because this was her first encounter with the sword, and the mere sight of it sent shivers down her spine.
‘I’ll be able to observe Yuan fighting monsters. I’ll root for him and pray to God that nothing happens to him.’ Mireya had an anticipatory expression on her face as she watched Yuan dominate the battlefield.
She had seen Yuan fight monsters before, and it was incredible how Yuan commanded the battlefield with his might, slaughtering hundreds of creatures alone.
“Seeing him like that…it certainly brings back some memories…” She mumbled, a soft smile on her lips.
“Leah, stay with Mireya and Sylvia and protect them from any evil that may come,” Yuan said, handing her a sword he had swiftly grabbed from his system storage. “We’ll go and help them defeat the creatures; it won’t take long. But you should constantly be cautious; creatures could be hiding behind you.”
“Okay, you’ve defeated the beasts. Leave Miss Mireya and Sylvia’s safety to me.” Leah smiled and nodded, despite her disappointment.
Then Yuan’s gaze turned to Xi Meili, who stood next to Leah. “Won’t you join the fun, Xi Meili?”
“No, Hubby, I’m not going to participate in this war,” Xi Meili shakes her head cutely. “You go have fun; I’ll stay with sister Leah in case anything unexpected happens.”
“I see…then I’ll leave their safety to you, sweetheart.”

Despite being bombarded with tremendous magical attacks, the Giant Purple Lizards continue to move ahead, and their terrifying roars resonate throughout the forest, scaring other weak creatures nearby.
“Just how strong is their defense? Our attacks do not appear to be effective against them…” King Richard’s countenance darkened as he realized how strong the creatures’ defenses were, and how their attacks were ineffective.
“Everyone! Get ready! We’re going offensive!” Crown Prince Daniel yelled as he got from the horse and charged at the beasts with his weapon lifted.
“Yeah! Let us do it!”
Everyone shouted with delight, forgetting their dread, and began attacking the creatures, following Daniel’s lead.
Daniel rapidly swung his magic sword at the Giant Purple Lizard, engulfing it in flames before striking the creature in the chest.
Whoosh! Clang!
The sound of flames scattering and metal colliding echoed over the battlefield, and Daniel felt his sword strike a massive chunk of metal, causing a strong vibration through his weapon.
“Unbelievable, my strike barely scratched him? This is impossible!” Daniel nearly burst into tears when he realized his onslaught was ineffective; he was completely taken aback by the unexpected result.
“Damn it! Their defense is incredible, and our blows hardly scratch their bodies.” King Richard murmured, his face filled with amazement and disbelief.
Everyone’s face grew pale as they realized their attacks were futile against the Giant Purple Lizards, and some of them lost the will to fight because their weapons had become dull and ruined.
“These creatures have such strong defenses that none of our attacks are effective against them!”
“My sword broke when I swung at the beast; fortunately, I have a few backup weapons with me.”
“I don’t think we’ll be able to beat those creatures; they’re so powerful!”
“Many of our soldiers have already been injured; at this rate, we will lose the war and become their supper.”
People’s whispers flooded the battlefield as their attacks failed to defeat the Giant Purple Lizards, whose scales blocked the strikes and provided them with protection.
“Damn it! My attacks aren’t working. At this rate, I’ll perish in this godforsaken wilderness!” Aurther nearly shouted out since none of his attacks were effective against the lizards, even though his weapon was a formidable magical weapon.
The Holy Knights were also trying to battle a single lizard, and their attacks were ineffective; the lizard was simply forcing them back.
Meanwhile, King Richard managed to avoid the lizard’s onslaught and bit his lips in fury while thinking. ‘Why hasn’t General Valeria arrived on the battlefield yet? What’s keeping her?’
Just as he was thinking so, he heard a familiar voice from behind, causing him to sigh with relief.
“Sorry for keeping you all waiting; leave the monsters to us now.” General Valeria yells as she tightens her grip on her sword and launches herself at the lizard that King Richard was battling to push back.
“Furious Lion Slash!”
Swish! Swish!
General Valeria blasted the lizard with persistent strikes, and with each rapid motion of her sword, she slashed the gigantic beast to shreds.
“What the hell?!”
Everyone was awestruck when General Valeria slashed the formidable S-rank Giant Purple Lizard into thousands of pieces in the blink of an eye; it was an astonishing sight for them.
“Great job, Valeria. You appear to be enjoying your new sword a lot.” Lily appeared abruptly behind General Valeria and spoke in a respectful tone.
“Haha~!” General Valeria grinned and remarked, “I never expected the sword my husband gifted me to be so beautiful… It cuts through the lizards’ strong scales like butter. It’s just incredible!”
Lily smiled. “Well, it’s because that’s not a normal or magic blade like the one you used previously; it’s a Spirit Weapon.”
“Spirit Weapon? Never heard it before. What is a Spirit Weapon?” General Valeria inquired, perplexed as she had never heard this term before.
‘Now that I think about it, this sword felt a lot different and I can’t sense any mana inside it at all…So that is the explanation, I see now.’ She pondered.
“Well, I cannot tell you anything about Spirit Weapons; you should ask Yuan later. Make sure no one is following you when you ask him.” Lily muttered this as she ran towards the Giant Purple Lizard, which was constantly attacking Daniel.
As she moved, the sword in her grasp shone in light bluea”
“Frozen Moon Blade Strike!”
Lily launched a magnificent arc of blue cold light, slicing the Giant Purple Lizard.
The sword’s ethereal radiance caused the monster’s body to freeze in a thick block of ice, revealing the monster’s horrific look at the moment of death.
“Too simple,” Lily chuckled as she moved towards the second monster, killing it with each swing of her sword and freezing its body in a thick block of ice.
People were both scared and shocked as they witnessed this event. They vowed never to provoke this lovely lady in their lives, or else they would be converted into an ice sculpture.
“As expected for a member of a well-known Hunter party, she is exceptionally strong.” King Richard mumbled in disbelief, unable to believe that the monsters they had fought so hard to defeat were suddenly being slain like this.
Not only King Richard but also the others, were astounded by the breathtaking surroundings. They almost couldn’t believe what they were seeing; how could such a young woman butcher the Giant Purple Lizards like they were a bunch of feeble chickens?
Meanwhile, Anna and Grace joined in the fun and slew the Giant Purple Lizards with their sword style, which drew a lot of attention owing to its beauty while still being lethal.
Both managed to charm many hearts with their exquisite motions, even if it wasn’t on purpose, but they ignored all of this and fought the beasts.
“Lunar Blossom Sword Dance!”
They utilized the procedure again to slay the other lizards that were endangering people’s lives; despite their desire not to save them, they opted to do so because they just needed to kill the monster.
They chopped the monster into thousands of pieces with their exquisite movement, sending blood and organs flying everywhere, turning the black dirt a vivid red.
“We’ve grown significantly since our breakthrough in horticulture. I used very little strength to murder them.” Anna mumbled, her tone full of astonishment.
Grace nodded. “Indeed, even though these are peak S-rank monsters, they pose no threat to us at all.”
“Well, let’s deal with them first, then we can speak.”
“That sounds great,” Grace agreed.
At the same moment, Emma used her strength to defeat the monsters; a single blow from her was enough to breach their strong defense and kill them all at once.
Every monster she smashed had a massive hole in its body through which one could see the other side, and the sheer force of the punch caused a deafening sonic boom.
“With a single punch, she defeated the creatures, demonstrating her incredible strength.”
“I can’t believe she possessed such monstrous strength despite her feminine appearance; this is almost impossible!”
“Yet, even with our united efforts, we couldn’t destroy a single creature! This is really a shame.”
“I can’t believe we’ve gotten this far; it appears that we’ll need to take our training more seriously from now on.”
“Agreed!”
Meanwhile, Yuan came onto the battlefield, holding his enormous sword, bored of watching his wife have so much fun.
As soon as he arrived, everyone turned to look at him and was taken aback by the big sword he was holding, and reports about it spread quickly.
“I cannot believe he could wield something like this…This is certainly a surprise!” Crown Prince Daniel murmured with a shocked expression on his face.
