My Cat Turned Beastman Won't Stop Kissing My Neck

Chapter 47: Yes, Yes, You’re the Most Faithful

"Then do you like me?" Yin Zhi took a deep breath.

"Of course I do," Wen Qian answered patiently.

Yin Zhi: "What about that stinking snake?"

"A Mian?" Wen Qian blinked. "I like him, too," she added.

Yin Zhi: "Then what about him..."

The boy who’d been singled out shuddered. As Wen Qian nodded, he distinctly felt Yin Zhi’s gaze on him grow colder.

Li Jiu immediately shrank back onto the sofa, chanting frantically in his head: ’They can’t see me, they can’t see me, they can’t see me.’

"You... how could you..." The corners of the young man’s eyes turned red, as if he was about to shatter.

His emotions were completely at Wen Qian’s mercy, swinging between sorrow and joy.

But sorrow won out in the end, since she had divided her "like" equally among every good-looking Beastman.

"You can rest assured, I like every single one of you." Seeing his incredulous expression, Wen Qian nodded emphatically again, trying to assuage his doubts.

’Trust me, I’m telling the truth!’

At that, Li Jiu, who was curled up on the sofa, trembled even more violently.

Yin Zhi laughed at her tone. He stared at her for a long time, his eyes reddening at the rims. The tip of his tongue pressed against his back molars as his slender fingers closed firmly around the nape of her neck.

In the next second, Yin Zhi pulled Wen Qian right in front of him.

Warm breath ghosted across her face. Before Wen Qian could even react, she gasped.

"HISS..." She scrambled back, shoving Yin Zhi hard in her disbelief.

’He actually bit me!’

She pushed Yin Zhi away with ease. The tears shimmering in his eyes threatened to spill over, but he stubbornly held them back.

He had been furious, and the bite had been vicious. But now, seeing her broken lip, his heart ached.

’How could I have hurt her...?’

He stole a glance at the girl before him, his expression cold. But that one look was enough to make his heart plummet into an abyss.

Wen Qian’s eyes were wide, and she was staring at him in a daze, clearly having never expected him to suddenly bite her.

A storm of emotions churned within them, but anger was clearly the most prominent.

BANG!

A dull thud.

The handsome young man vanished, leaving only a flash of silver-white in his place.

Apparently not daring to face Wen Qian, Yin Zhi had shifted into his beast form and darted into the bedroom.

Staring at the clothes scattered on the floor, Wen Qian was dumbfounded. ’What’s going on? He bites me and runs?’

Bitten for no reason at all, Wen Qian couldn’t have been more frustrated. ’Did he not like my answer? But that was a high-EQ response I’d racked my brain to come up with!’

Meanwhile, Li Jiu sensed Wen Qian’s gaze and immediately turned his head to look out the window, putting on an expression that said, "I don’t know anything."

He might be slow on the uptake, but he wasn’t an idiot.

The Young Master of the Tiger Clan definitely had ulterior motives regarding Wen Qian. Otherwise, he wouldn’t have looked like he was about to kill someone when she said she liked other people.

"Every single one of them is so weird..." Wen Qian was at a loss for words, figuring it was probably best to just eat her meal in silence.

’The minds of Beastmen were too difficult to figure out, so she decided... not to even try.’

The two of them remained at a stalemate until evening.

Yin Zhi never did come out to eat.

Worried he’d go hungry, Wen Qian had purposely left the food out.

But for some reason, the guy not only refused to eat, but he also ran into the closet and curled up, acting as if he wanted to draw a clear line between them.

Wen Qian had planned to just let it go, but then he rolled over for the third time, kicking the T-shirt from the top of the stack in the closet onto the floor.

At the end of her rope, Wen Qian shot up from the bed, strode over, grabbed the little cat by the scruff of his neck, and plopped him onto the bed.

She expected the little cat to struggle and try to flee, but he was surprisingly docile.

The silver gradient licked her finger ingratiatingly. Then, using all four paws, he scrambled up to her chest...

As their eyes met, the silver gradient darted its tongue out and licked her broken lip a couple of times.

The licks left Wen Qian stunned. Even though he was in cat form, she couldn’t help but feel nervous...

’That’s right. My heart is beating this fast because I’m very, very nervous.’

"Do you want to eat something?" she asked, her tone softening unconsciously.

The little cat didn’t speak, only shaking his head.

Though he was just a little tiger who had only learned how to meow, he wanted to maintain his cool and aloof image right now.

After all, he had been genuinely angry just a moment ago.

"Let’s go to sleep, then." She wouldn’t force him to eat if he didn’t want to.

Wen Qian had barely finished speaking when the silver gradient shook his round little head again.

"Alright, then... *I’m* going to sleep." Wen Qian didn’t want to prolong the stalemate; Yin Zhi was definitely acting strangely today. She placed him back on the bed and reached for the covers.

Seeing this, Yin Zhi grew anxious. He pawed at the blanket, trying to pull it away. When a few tugs failed to move it, he threw caution to the wind... and transformed right there on the bed.

"HEY!!"

Their eyes met, and Wen Qian let out a scream.

Just as she was about to let him have it, her mouth was clamped shut by the man’s hand. Immediately after, Wen Qian was forcefully pulled into the man’s arms, forced to feel his warm breath ghosting over the top of her head.

Li Jiu, who had rushed over at the sound, had just touched the doorknob and turned it slightly when he was cut off by a harsh male voice: "Get out!"

Li Jiu froze, so frightened he nearly shifted into his beast form.

He scurried back to the sofa dejectedly, pulled the small blanket he’d knocked onto the floor back over himself, and huddled down, leaving only a single, silly tuft of hair sticking out.

"How dare you transform on the bed..." Wen Qian ground her teeth. She was both mortified and furious, her cheeks burning.

He froze for a second, but then decided to just lean into it. Feigning ignorance, he deliberately grazed the tip of her ear with his teeth. "Is Qianqian angry?"

’I’m the one who should be angry.’

"What do you think?" Wen Qian felt she was more embarrassed than angry, especially when he nibbled the tip of her ear, sending an involuntary shiver through her.

"You’ll still have to soothe me first, Qianqian." His gaze darkened, obviously aware that even though Wen Qian was angry, there was nothing she could do to him at the moment.

With that thought, he rested his chin on her shoulder and deliberately nuzzled her neck.

"I’ll soothe you, I’ll soothe you! But you have to tell me what you’re so angry about..." She tried to sit up, but the moment she straightened her back, he hooked an arm around her waist and pulled her back against his chest.

Her pajamas were already thin, and now, pressed tightly against him, Wen Qian felt incredibly hot.

At the mention of that, the man’s expression visibly soured. He stopped his movements and gave her waist a punishing squeeze. "Qianqian isn’t loyal," he said, his tone vicious.

"How am I not loyal?" Wen Qian didn’t get it at first. She retorted instinctively, "I only like men. How is that not being loyal?"

"?" Yin Zhi laughed in exasperation.

At the same moment, Wen Qian realized what she’d just said. She instinctively tried to turn her head to see his expression, but he held her head still by the crown.

He clearly didn’t want to look at her.

’He’d meant to punish her, but now he’d just made himself even angrier.’

’Right, right. She’s *so* loyal. Other people can "like" dozens of strangers a day just scrolling through videos, but she only likes a few of us. She’s the most loyal person ever.’
