Chapter 542: Chapter 450: The Golden Eagle Ancestor Emerges, the Tiger King Great Dominator

Under these circumstances, catching their first glimpse of a True Dominator’s true form, they developed an innate, irreparable fear, like ants gazing upon the scorching sun.

Moreover, their souls had been wounded by the Golden Eagle Ancestor’s roar. The entire Demon Race would live in fear, the Ancestor’s emergence casting a shadow over their entire lives.

Their very blood would forever remember this moment!

But this was of no consequence. For the Golden Eagle Clan, the fate of the Demon Race on the ground was never their concern. Witnessing their Ancestor emerge from seclusion, they were all exhilarated, their blood boiling with excitement.

The Golden Eagle Ancestor, however, showed no emotion. He appeared as a fierce, jet-black great eagle, radiating a sharp aura, the weight of ages brewing within his eyes.

He looked down upon the Primitive Ancient Forest, which seemed as insignificant as blades of grass. ‘A True Dominator,’ he thought. ‘An aura like my own. Where in the world did it come from?’

At first, when he heard the reports from his descendants, he couldn’t have imagined what had truly happened—how such a huge incident could occur after only a few hundred years in seclusion.

The death of a Great Dominator was normal. He wouldn’t have cared much if one or two had died. But for so many to perish at once, and in such a strange manner, on top of having his Spirit Fruits plundered—that was intolerable!

The Spirit Fruits were his property, and the Eight Great Dominators were his guardians. Now, they were all gone. This was clearly a personal attack.

In this vast territory surrounding the Primitive Ancient Forest, his will was law. For many, many years, no one had dared to defy him.

Ever since he stepped into the Transformation Realm, he had been the absolute master of this region. Even beings who had reached the state of Perfection above the Spirit Control Realm were no match for him at all.

After being entrenched for many years, his clan had grown strong, becoming an unmatchable power. His commands were the absolute will of the heavens, and none under his command could defy him.

Of course, it wasn’t that there were no beings he was wary of. It was just that those beings would never act against him like this, nor did they have any reason to.

Even the neighboring True Dominators wouldn’t go so far as to target him like this. There was a measure of mutual respect, after all. He was at the Perfect Transformation Realm, on the verge of touching an even higher realm. Who would dare to offend him?

For thousands of miles around, no one dared to offend him—in fact, they had to bow their heads!

Yet today of all days, a series of inexplicable Great Dominator deaths had occurred, many Spirit Fruits had been stolen, and he had even sensed the aura of the Transformation Realm!

He hadn’t sensed it at first. After all, he was in secluded cultivation, his mind not focused on the Golden Eagle Race outside. Even though his bloodline allowed for long-distance sensing, he wouldn’t perceive anything unless he actively tried.

But as soon as he received the report, he immediately became alert. He then attempted an ultra-long-distance bloodline sense, and sure enough, he discovered two mysterious individuals instantly killing a very powerful Great Dominator!

It was a clean, instantaneous kill. Moreover, their mastery over the Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm seemed to have reached an extreme state; they had slain a Great Dominator with a casual flick.

Such terrifying strength could not be underestimated, because even he couldn’t kill a Great Dominator so casually.

It wasn’t a matter of insufficient power. He simply hadn’t mastered such a refined long-range attack method. If he really wanted to kill a Great Dominator, he would have to act personally, and the commotion would inevitably be huge.

However, this didn’t mean he feared the two mysterious members of the Demon Race. On the contrary, he had even sensed their weakness.

Yes, their weakness.

‘Those two from the Demon Race killed the Great Dominator from a distance,’ he reasoned. ‘This means their physical bodies are a major flaw.’

In the Golden Eagle Ancestor’s view, a person’s absorption of Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm was limited. One could either temper their body to possess an incomparably tough physique or specialize in magic to develop a method for ultra-long-range killing.

The Golden Eagle Ancestor himself revered physical strength, but he had also mastered some degree of long-range techniques. Therefore, he knew very well that a demon’s abilities and Talent were finite; it was impossible to master both paths.

‘In other words,’ he concluded, ‘since the mysterious demon’s long-range attacks can instantly kill a Great Dominator with ease, her physical body must be as fragile as paper. It would shatter with a single swipe of my claw.’

Having reached this conclusion, the Golden Eagle Ancestor emerged from his seclusion, ready to punish this so-called mysterious person. As he emerged, countless members of the Golden Eagle Demon Clan gathered in the north.

He had already sensed the trail of the two mysterious demons. They were heading north, and if nothing unexpected happened, they were likely on their way to plunder the territory of the next Great Dominator. So, he mobilized members of his clan in advance to form a blockade.

The reason he didn’t go after them alone was mainly that their strength could not be underestimated. After all, he had sensed a faint trace of a Transformation Realm aura. Even though it wasn’t strong, he knew their power was incomparable to that of ordinary demons. Even he couldn’t easily pinpoint their movements.

Naturally, he needed more Golden Eagles to scout and encircle the area, reporting back everything they saw on the ground to prevent the tiny, mysterious demons from escaping.

Through his bloodline connection, he had seen that the two mysterious demons were very small, practically the size of ants. Without deploying a large number of Golden Eagles to search, how could they possibly be found?

This was another key point. When the two mysterious demons killed that Great Dominator, they had only revealed the faintest trace of an aura. This showed that their ability to conceal their presence was extremely formidable, something he had to guard against!

With these thoughts in mind, the Golden Eagle Ancestor covered hundreds of miles with a single flap of his wings, looking down upon the territory of another Great Dominator. He saw members of the Golden Eagle Race converging from all directions, and those already waiting there respectfully greeted his arrival. “Ancestor, the two mysterious demons you put out a warrant for are just below! It seems they’re about to enter the Tiger King Dominator’s territory!”

The Tiger King Dominator was the head of the Eight Great Dominators, the one with the most powerful physical body. It was said he was the one most likely to break through to the Transformation Realm; his individual strength was exceptionally formidable.

But for several thousand years, there had been no movement from him. He remained stable and quiet, silently guarding his own territory.

He and the Nine-tailed Fox were two extremes. If the Nine-tailed Fox possessed outstanding Talent in magic, then he was the peak of physical prowess. Even in the territories of other True Dominators, he would be considered a Super Great Demon who could more than hold his own.

Therefore, the Golden Eagle assigned to watch him was the strongest leader among the twelve Great Dominators. He was also a being who had reached Perfection above the Spirit Control Realm, on the verge of breaking through to the Transformation Realm—the greatest genius the Golden Eagle race had produced since the Ancestor himself.

Such a force surrounded the vast territory below, with a continuous stream of Golden Eagles converging on the location. The commotion they created was naturally immense.

Down below, Jiang Qiu, who was riding the Nine-tailed Fox through the woods, suddenly looked up. The canopy of the Primitive Ancient Forest blocked his view, so he couldn’t see the sky full of the Golden Eagle Race. But his Sensing Power had always been extraordinary, and he had a firm grasp on the fluctuations of the Heaven and Earth Spirit Charm. “A Great Demon at the Perfect Transformation Realm has arrived,” he said. “That should be the Golden Eagle Ancestor. There are also many Great Demons at the Dominator Level, and countless Golden Eagles who are Opening Spirit Veins.”

Sensing the presence of these demons, he actually felt more at ease. It seemed the Golden Eagle Ancestor’s aura wasn’t as powerful as he had imagined.

But he didn’t underestimate his enemy in the slightest. Instead, he instructed the Nine-tailed Fox, “After we kill the Tiger King Great Dominator, we’ll go slay the Golden Eagle Ancestor. His killing intent is very strong.”

“Yes, Master.”

Even in her true form, the Nine-tailed Fox’s voice was as light and pleasant as a clear spring.

The two of them then stepped into the Tiger King Great Dominator’s territory. Immediately, a tiger’s roar echoed through the forest as a nearly humanoid, ferocious tiger descended from the sky, landing with a BOOM on the path before them. It looked like a small titan, immensely strong, and its killing intent was heavy. “Nine-tailed Fox, you lured the Golden Eagle Ancestor to my territory?!”
