After hearing the news about Jiang Qiu from Zhu Weiyi, Lin Yu was completely stunned. He had never imagined the Outer Realm was so vast, nor had he ever thought Jiang Qiu could become such a commanding figure out there.

So it hadn’t been an empty boast when Jiang Qiu said he was leaving to save the members of the Human Race abducted by [Zuo Xuan]. He was actually doing it, and he was already getting results. At the very least, Zhu Weiyi—a Peak of Dao Entry Realm expert—had returned!

With Zhu Weiyi’s return, Xia Country’s power undoubtedly deepened. Now, on all of Blue Star, no force could stand against Xia Country, and not a single Demon Race clan dared to cause trouble.

Most importantly, because of Jiang Qiu, Zhu Weiyi had brought back world-expanding information from the Outer Realm. Even a mighty Harmonization Realm expert like [Celestial Star] thought highly of Jiang Qiu.

He didn’t fully grasp what a fifty-win streak in the Celestial Star Arena truly meant, but hearing that Jiang Qiu could now instantly kill a Peak of Fusion Realm expert in the Outer Realm left Lin Yu too shocked for words. It felt as if he were still a farmer tilling his fields, while a junior from his village had gone to Sang Island and killed their Grandmaster with a single punch.

’The Fusion Realm... a legendary Realm he had never even encountered in person. And now, experts of that level were being instantly killed by Jiang Qiu?’

And Jiang Qiu was killing those at the Peak of the Fusion Realm! Such power was utterly terrifying. It was impossible to imagine what kind of Talent could allow him to defeat a renowned expert from the Outer Realm in just five short years—five of Blue Star’s years!

The more Lin Yu listened, the number he felt, a tingling sensation spreading across his cheeks. His blood ran hot, as if he had returned to the passionate, high-spirited days of his youth.

The things Zhu Weiyi recounted about Jiang Qiu in the Desolate Realm were already this stunning. And since Jiang Qiu hadn’t started out in the Desolate Realm, countless other shocking events must have occurred. It was clear that Jiang Qiu was truly favored by destiny.

Although Jiang Qiu had to travel even farther away to continue rescuing the humans abducted by Venerable [Zuo Xuan], he had brought a developmental opportunity to Blue Star. The Celestial Star Arena—that is, the Three-Life Race—had decided to come to Blue Star to build a Space-Time Travel base station and establish contact.

Of course, what was even more worth developing was the civilization of the Blue Star Human Race itself.

Soon, through Zhu Weiyi’s introductions, Lin Yu met the commander of the fleet and learned more about the Outer Realm. He ordered all alarms to be stood down. Furthermore, he demanded a global announcement be made at once: Xia Country had made first contact with the Outer Realm. They were preparing to construct a Space-Time Travel base station and form a Human Union. Any interested parties were to send representatives immediately to begin negotiations.

Yes, forming the Human Union.

This had actually been part of an earlier plan, from back when Jiang Qiu had swept through the Kunlun Demon Clan and Sanda on Blue Star before his departure. At that time, no power near Xia Country could truly threaten its foundation, and its overall national strength was already unmatched on the planet.

However, at the time, they had been unable to call for unification because of unfilled leadership positions and a plethora of social problems.

Besides, other nations might not have been willing to join the Human Union anyway. Everyone acts in their own self-interest, and each country would have tried to secure its own advantages within the union, making compromise difficult.

But things were different now. With the help of [Celestial Star]’s fleet, Xia Country’s future lay in the Outer Realm. An unprecedented path of exploration had opened, and new conflicts would replace the old. A common goal would compel the Human Race to unite.

Wasting away on Blue Star, no one could see any hope for survival. On the surface, the various nations were still fighting the Demon Race, warring over living space and Cultivation Resources. In reality, however, there was only one enemy who was truly insurmountable: [Zuo Xuan].

But the crux of the problem was that no one could defeat [Zuo Xuan]. So, they used localized wars to distract the populace, hoping to diminish the impact of his threat and lessen the pervasive sense of despair.

The strategy worked well enough; at least other countries could find hope in their wars against the Demon Race, constantly fighting for their nations. But it wasn’t as effective in Xia Country. Lacking the threat of a demonic enemy, the people’s attention was focused entirely on the great catastrophe that had befallen Blue Star. The shadow cast by [Zuo Xuan] was inescapable, and their despair was palpable.

Their despair led to social stagnation. No one had any confidence they could ensure the continuation of their civilization. Some lawless elements even seized the opportunity to cause chaos, making life miserable for the common people.

And at a time like this, no one in the high command dared to stand up and claim they could lead Xia Country to ultimate victory. They weren’t even confident they could preserve the last embers of human civilization.

Many in the high command had been driven to despair by the great catastrophe themselves. They knew all too well how terrifying [Zuo Xuan] was. The higher their position, the more they realized the depths of the abyss they were in, with no light in sight.

Even the question of migrating to develop the Northern Boundary was a subject of endless, unresolved debate. ’Under such circumstances, how could they possibly develop the Human Union?’

Only by revealing a ray of hope, by illuminating the path forward and allowing everyone to see the shore beyond, could Xia Country regain its confidence and the people find their spirit once more!

Once the Space-Time Travel base station was built, Xia Country would have its window to the outside. It could then succeed in luring the entire Human Race to venture into the void, to explore the Outer Realm and find a way to save them all.
