My Arts Evolve When Perfected

Chapter 355 354: Stupefied by a Single Glare

"Who are you?"

Jiang Qiu glanced at the kobold-headed Ah Si and asked casually. He didn't mind causing a bit of trouble in the Desolate Realm. After all, from the looks of it, there was nothing in Little Oasis City that could threaten him.

The entire Desolate Realm was only on par with a minor world. He estimated its power level to be, at most, similar to Blue Star's, which meant it was very difficult for any native to reach the Fusion Realm.

And Little Oasis City 777, where he was now, was just a remote and backward place. It was highly unlikely that there was any exceptionally powerful faction backing them.

'With my cultivation at the Half-Step Fusion Realm, could I possibly be bullied here?'

"Heh, I am the City Lord's direct grandson, the future heir to all of Little Oasis City 777. You'd better get out of my sight right now," Ah Si said, growing bolder. He was acting like an uncivilized fool. "Don't make me throw you out."

After all, he was the Young Master of all of Oasis City. He was used to throwing his weight around, enjoying a lifestyle second only to that of the City Lord, who was like an emperor here. Very few people were ever worthy of his notice.

This was no exaggeration. Little Oasis City 777 was already a considerably remote place, completely lacking powerful cultivators and scarce on resources. He, however, controlled the most resources and had cultivated to a relatively high level. You could say he was the strongest second-generation figure in the city.

Sometimes, he could even kill a few natives for fun. It was only because he was currently inside the Celestial Star Shop that he had to consider its influence. Otherwise, he would have already moved to drive Jiang Qiu out.

For a second-generation heir like him, who had never encountered the outside world and had no desire to, living his entire life in this city on "custom mode" was an excellent arrangement. He could mess with whoever he disliked, and there were very few people he couldn't afford to provoke.

In his entire life, he had truly never met more than a handful of people he couldn't afford to provoke.

Right now, he was simply unhappy to be in the same place as a commoner and felt like messing with someone.

"Heh, you really are brainless," Jiang Qiu said, shaking his head with a pitying smile. "A frog in a well sees the moon; a mayfly sees the blue sky. Do you know what that means?"

"What does that mean?" Ah Si frowned. He genuinely didn't know what it meant, but he couldn't see the expression behind Jiang Qiu's mask. Swept up by the man's confident tone, he asked subconsciously.

His knowledge was shallow. His greatest pleasure, just like his grandfather, was to breed widely, produce litters of Kobold pups, and enjoy the purest, most instinctual gratification.

He was unwilling to accept foreign cultures, had no desire to learn about them, and couldn't even understand simple symbolism.

At this point, Jiang Qiu was beginning to wonder if this person was the product of such crossbreeding, resulting in some serious intelligence issues...

However, he was very patient. "If you don't know, then get out. Don't bother me."

"???" Ah Si froze for a moment. He suddenly felt an extremely oppressive gaze coming from Jiang Qiu's eyes. He stood rooted to the spot like a statue, his pupils so wide they looked like they were about to split. "I... I..."

At that moment, the two beautiful Kobold women on his arms also noticed something was wrong. They looked up and saw his deathly pale face. The Young Master they had served for so long had his pupils shrunk to pinpricks, the whites of his eyes showing, looking like a complete idiot.

"What's going on?"

"What happened?"

"Ah—Quick, get the Young Master home!"

The two Kobold girls finally realized something had happened to their Young Master. They supported him and hurried home. Along the way, incontinent urine streamed from his crotch, leaving a glistening trail and steaming with a pungent heat.

The nobles and natives on the street all smelled the strange odor. They couldn't help but wrinkle their noses and wave the air. When their gazes fell upon the scene, they were all dumbfounded. "What's going on? Isn't that the City Lord's grandson, Ah Si? How could he have wet himself!"

"No way, nobles wet their pants too?"

"My heavens, what am I seeing? Ah Si wet his pants!"

"Ancestors, this is great! Hahaha, the City Lord's grandson wet his pants!"

"Woo-hoo, so nobles can wet their pants too! Ahaha..."

The sounds of ridicule rose and fell along the street. Although the natives didn't dare to speak loudly, their voices were still present, like the buzzing of mosquitoes, clinging to Ah Si's ears.

But even then, he remained completely oblivious, staring blankly with wide, dazed eyes.

Soon, he was brought back to the City Lord's Mansion. The old City Lord, who had been busy procreating, climbed out of bed, cursing as he pulled on his pants. "What bullshit is so important it has to interrupt me? What trouble has Ah Si gotten into now?"

He was already used to Ah Zhen causing trouble. Forget killing natives; he often provoked the children of the city's nobles. Plenty of nobles had come here to report him.

But that was no big deal. It wasn't like he'd actually succeeded in doing anything yet. And even if he had, so what? He could just send them some resources as compensation later.

'Could someone actually dare to flip the sky over in Little Oasis City 777?'

"Respected Lord City Lord, your grandson has suddenly become an imbecile!"

The butler trembled, prostrating on the floor like an ancient eunuch from Blue Star. He didn't dare to get up, his face pale and his back drenched in sweat.

"What?!" The old City Lord flew into a thunderous rage. "Who the fuck did this to my grandson!"

His roar echoed throughout the room like an explosion. He rushed out and, led by the butler, headed for the place where Ah Si was resting.

As soon as he entered the room, he saw a group of maids prostrated on the floor. His grandson, Ah Si, was lying on the bed, his eyes empty and lifeless, and a thick, pungent stench of piss assaulted his nostrils.

"Fuck, who pissed in the room?! I'll kill them!"

The old City Lord was unspeakably furious. His vicious gaze swept over the many servants present, all of whom trembled and dared not meet his eyes.

One of the maids timidly began, "It was..."

"It was you!"

BANG! He strode over and punched the maid in the head. Instantly, blood poured from all seven of her orifices, and her eyeballs exploded in their sockets. Just like that, she was dead.

Having vented his anger, the old City Lord took a deep breath. His nightmarish gaze swept over the servants, who now prostrated themselves even lower. He walked unhurriedly toward the bed. "Much better now."

To him, what was one crippled direct grandson when he had hundreds, even thousands, of offspring?

Being disturbed over such a matter was the truly unforgivable sin.

However, he couldn't just ignore the matter of his direct grandson. After all, it concerned his own honor. As the strongest person in this city, he had to carry out a bloodbath to establish his authority.

"So, tell me. How did he end up like this?"

The two questioned maids shivered. "Respected Lord City Lord, at the Celestial Star Shop, the Young Master was glared at by a masked member of the Human Race, and just like that..."

SPLAT! SPLAT! Two heads burst like flowers. The old City Lord cursed, "Do you take me for a fool? You think I'd believe that crap?"
