My Arts Evolve When Perfected

Chapter 294 - 293: 10-Year Great Change

Cracking an Advanced Array was no easy feat. The process was incredibly tedious, and as Jiang Qiu dedicated all his energy to the task, ten years passed in the Northern Boundary.

With his [Array Intuition], he could instantly see the complete structure of the damaged Grand Array. He then began the continuous process of filling in the missing parts with Ancient Inscriptions.

It was like tightening screws one by one, gradually bringing the Grand Array back to life.

The work was exceedingly tedious and complex. Even with Jiang Qiu’s incredible Talent, he made several mistakes that nearly caused the Grand Array to collapse completely.

However, as he continued to repair the Grand Array, he grew increasingly certain that it was a Teleportation Array. And not an ordinary one at that, but a Grand Array capable of traversing the void itself!

As the Grand Array was gradually repaired, Jiang Qiu also absorbed the information embedded within it. A subtle legacy concerning the [Era of Dragon Fall] seeped into his mind.

"A True Dragon that commanded myriad worlds fell from the Infinite Sea. The Celestial Profound Great Realm, unable to bear the weight, faced a world-ending crisis. Myriad Great World Communities were dragged into the cataclysm, and life was plunged into misery.

To seek a path of survival for the Human Race of the Celestial Profound Great Realm, a branch of the Cyan Simurgh Palace established this Array. With a Dragon Vein as its foundation, it crosses the void to other distant Great World Communities..."

The brief legacy chronicled the Grand Array’s origin. These ruins must have belonged to a branch of the Cyan Simurgh Palace, but they were later destroyed by a natural disaster and buried deep underground.

Fortunately, the Array’s defenses were formidable. Despite taking significant damage, its core Inscriptions remained intact, allowing it to be recharged with Spirit Charm to perform a teleport.

Unfortunately, a teleport had occurred not long ago, completely depleting the stored Spirit Charm. The reserves would have to be built up all over again.

’Travel to other Great World Communities?’

After a moment’s hesitation, Jiang Qiu recalled from the memories he inherited from the True Dragon that thousands of Great Realms grouped together formed a Great World Community.

The Celestial Profound Great Realm had once belonged to the Demon Venerable Great World Community, and its native inhabitants were all from the Demon Race. The Human Race only arrived much later.

Different worlds possessed different characteristics. The distance between two Great World Communities was typically vast—far greater than the distance between Great Realms within the same community.

’To think it can actually teleport to other Great World Communities... The complexity of this Array is staggering.’

’Forget it. First, I’ll seal the Grand Array’s fluctuations. This Teleportation Array can’t be detected by experts from other Great World Communities, lest it endanger the Northern Boundary, and by extension, Blue Star.’

With that thought, Jiang Qiu concealed the Grand Array’s aura. As he left the fissure, he released his own Realm to shield it from detection.

He wasn’t prepared to actively explore these so-called Great Worlds. The unknown was fraught with peril, and right now, both the Northern Boundary and Blue Star were far too fragile. He could easily imagine the kind of disaster they would face if exposed.

Coincidentally, the heart-pounding apprehension he felt from the Secret Realm’s entrance had all but vanished. He could now easily open the passage between the Northern Boundary and Blue Star.

’I might as well return to Blue Star first and figure things out from there.’

...

During those ten years, the people in the Initial Land still hadn’t figured out how to leave the Northern Boundary. Power had become concentrated in the hands of three Grandmasters, including Lin Yu, and they planned everything for the eight million survivors.

The "Outer City" was also brought under control, led by Zhao Gongzheng and Li Ang. Eighth Middle School had become a veritable holy land of education, controlling a prime area where the concentration of Spirit Charm was higher than anywhere else.

The reason was simple: it had the backing of two Grandmasters, Lin Yu and the school’s vice principal. The prevailing sentiment of the day was to support Jiang Qiu!

The "Outer City" took in the vast majority of talented children to be educated and even began to make contact with this world’s native tribes.

Indeed, one day, a child named [Tian Ming] rode in from the north on a steed that carried the bloodline of a Demon Beast, delivering a great shock to the refugees from Gao Yuan City!

’This world actually has natives?!’

’And their Talent is off the charts!’

Grandmaster Lin Yu personally met with [Tian Ming] and promised him many benefits, hoping the boy could lead him to the native Human Race.

Later, the refugees from Gao Yuan City set their sights beyond the South Mountain Range and began to make contact with the South Mountain Tribe, the East Shore Tribe, and the North Snow Tribe.

Because they took the mission seriously, all the envoys sent to visit were at the Dharma Realm or higher. They traveled by flying, which brought an even greater shock to the natives!

’Since when were so many Chosen Ones living over by the Northern Boundary Mountain!’

When they learned the population numbered over eight million, all the tribes’ Warriors were stunned. They trembled with disbelief and a sense of terror.

The combined population of all their tribes was less than two hundred thousand. The sheer gap in numbers was staggering. The sudden appearance of such a massive Human Race population in their world was terrifying.

But to their pleasant surprise, from the mouths of these many Chosen Ones they heard a great and familiar name: Jiang Qiu—[Hill]!

When their prodigies and Leaders paid a return visit to the Northern Boundary Mountain under Lin Yu’s guidance, they entered the Initial Land and gazed up at a colossal metal statue. It resembled both a dragon and a man, its eyes holding a profound, far-seeing gaze. It was the "New Ancestor"!

The two groups of the Human Race began to interact and merge, experiencing a clash of cultures. The bond of trust that held them together was their shared faith in "Jiang Qiu."

This was also why Eighth Middle School became a holy land of education. It was the "New Ancestor’s" place of origin, an existence that countless tribal prodigies yearned for.

In the exchanges that followed, the native tribes sent their geniuses to the Gao Yuan City refugees, while the refugees sent women and general population to the native tribes.

Because the native tribes had an overabundance of geniuses, all of whom were eager to study at Eighth Middle School, the school naturally crushed all its rivals.

This was especially true with the appearance of [Tian Ming], a peerless genius who reached the Fusion Realm at just ten years old!

That’s right—Fusion Realm at ten!

He became the strongest among the natives. Aside from the Witch Priests who could receive Ancestral Power, he was the strongest fighter on public display.

And now, he was leading his clansmen, their training complete, on a southern campaign!

BOOM—

With a single punch, he obliterated the remnants of the Cold Heaven Cliff Demon Race holed up at the southern foot of the Northern Boundary Mountain. Now a youth, [Tian Ming] hovered in the air, his eyes glowing pure white and his sleeves fluttering, like a deity descended.

"Ten years ago, Lord [Hill] didn’t have the time to eliminate you. Today, I, [Tian Ming], will sweep away this lingering filth in his name."

The vast, boundless voice pressed down from the sky. Grazed by that punch, [Han] lay with broken wings in the ruins, his eyes nearly popping out of his head. "In just ten years, what the hell Realm have you cultivated to!"

He didn’t know [Tian Ming] at all, nor was he clear on what had happened in the Northern Boundary. He had simply led his people to hunker down in this stronghold, developing with nearby resources and not daring to overstep their bounds in the slightest, lest they invite sudden disaster.

This development strategy had been brilliant. In just ten years, it had produced a Spiritual Great Demon like himself—a whole rank above Transformation.

He felt no pride, however, and was preparing to continue lying low.

But then today, dozens of people suddenly came around from the north side of the Northern Boundary Mountain, shouting something like, "In the name of Jiang Qiu’s will, North Snow must rise!" And the youth leading them shattered his stronghold with a single punch!

HUMMM—

Suddenly, a white light flared, as if a switch had been flipped. [Han]’s face went deathly pale, and he choked out in despair, "Another punch..."
