Chapter 883 - 877: Coaxing a Man

"It’s nothing, I just suddenly felt like hugging you." Summer Shawcross said softly.

This man’s tolerance toward her exceeded her expectations by far.

She couldn’t even guess what the limit of his patience for her was.

Listening to her gentle words, Noah Drexler’s gaze paused for a moment, and his heart moved.

The hand resting on her waist tightened slightly.

The next second, the man couldn’t help but lower his head; after giving her lips a brief kiss, he spoke to her with eyes full of lingering affection.

"I’m not going to work today." His serious voice followed suit.

Her sudden demeanor made him lose all thoughts of work!

Hearing his words, Summer Shawcross was taken aback and quickly said to him.

"How can that be, tomorrow is the weekend, you should go to the office now." She said with pursed lips, then reached out to push him away.

Ever since she became pregnant, her thoughts had become more delicate, which might be why she suddenly wanted to hug him.

But unexpectedly, it made him not want to go to work.

Seeing her push him away, Noah Drexler couldn’t help frowning, stared at her intently for a few seconds, and then defiantly suggested.

"Shall I accompany you for shopping today?"

Who knows how it happened, but he used to never be a homebody, now he especially liked staying at home.

Even just watching her bask in the sun and listen to music, he felt an immense sense of satisfaction and joy!

Especially now that she was pregnant, most of his thoughts lingered on her, difficult to shift away.

"No need, Katherine Irving went shopping with me yesterday, and my legs are still a bit sore today. I want to stay home and watch movies, listen to some tunes."

The doctor said she needed more exercise now, which was beneficial for her and the baby inside her, so she often went to walk around shopping malls.

But after walking all day yesterday, today her legs were sore, so she didn’t feel like shopping, only wanted to rest at home.

As she finished speaking, Noah Drexler frowned slightly, then pressed his thin lips together before suggesting.

"How about I accompany you to watch a movie?" Noah Drexler looked at her and asked again.

If she didn’t want to go shopping, he could accompany her to a movie at home!

Listening to his suggestion, Summer Shawcross couldn’t help but smile, then softly replied to him.

"Alright, I won’t watch a movie during the day; when you get back in the evening, let’s watch together, okay?"

Her gentle voice had a hint of coaxing intent.

And Noah Drexler indeed fell for it; his handsome face softened at her tender words.

After a moment, he swallowed and agreed softly.

"Okay, I’ll come home early today."

Upon hearing this, Summer Shawcross smiled, lightly nodded again, lifted her head, gave him a kiss on the lips, and then said.

"Go ahead, Sean Morgan is still waiting for you."

Noah Drexler nodded his chin, finally tore his gaze away from her, turned around, and strode out of the bedroom.
