Chapter 226: Life Is Crazy

The interior of Amira’s mansion was even more breathtaking than the outside. If the outside was an imperial sanctuary, the inside was a palace.

The grand entry hall featured spotless, high polish marble floors that reflected the massive crystal chandelier hanging from the vaulted ceiling.

The chandelier cast rainbow prisms everywhere. Real, ancient suits of knight armor stood on display along the walls, their polished steel gleaming under the warm ambient lights.

A grand, curving marble staircase swept up toward the second floor, looking like the spine of a sleeping dragon. The air smelled faintly of expensive incense.

"Shoes off, everyone!" Amira called out casually, kicking off her own sandals right by the front entrance. Her bare feet slapped against the cool marble. "House rule. My mom hated dirt on her marble, and I keep it that way. No exceptions, even for Queens."

The girls quickly kicked off their travel boots and heels, stepping onto the cool, smooth stone in their bare feet or socks. A few of them sighed at how cool and smooth the floor felt.

"Wow..." Ava breathed, walking into the massive living room. Her eyes were wide as saucers. The couches were immense, plush, white, and larger than king-sized beds. "This place is so clean. It doesn’t even feel like anyone lives here.. It’s like a museum!"

"That’s because nobody does, mostly," Amira laughed, walking toward the open concept kitchen. Her slip dress swayed as she walked. "I spend half my time in Velbroth or traveling. But tonight, it’s ours. Tonight it finally feels alive."

The dining area was already set up like a royal banquet. It was a feast fit for royalty.

At the center of a massive dark wood table that could easily seat twenty people stood a three tiered golden cake decorated with fresh strawberries, edible gold leaf, and shimmering mana sugar that sparkled like stars.

Surrounding it were silver platters piled high with roasted meats, high grade ocean delicacies, savory pastries, and bottles of vintage, glowing mana wine that pulsed with soft light.

"Dig in, everyone!" Isabel announced happily, pouring glass after glass of shimmering red wine. Her hostess instincts kicked in perfectly.

"Tonight, there are no academy rules, no professors watching, and no tournaments matches! We celebrate our Champion! Tonight we just enjoy!"

"To Lynx!" Kira cheered loudly, holding her glass high in the air. Her voice was full of pride.

"To Lynx!" the entire room echoed in unison. The sound was loud and joyful, shaking the chandelier slightly.

The atmosphere inside the mansion instantly exploded into warmth, laughter, and pure, unrestrained joy. The tension of the academy was completely gone.

Ophelia, Ava, and Lira sat near the center of the grand couch with Eira and Emily, laughing as Eira dramatically retold the story of how she reacted when Lynx won the tournament. She used big hand gestures, almost spilling her drink.

Across the room, Isabel was sitting with Eleanor and Layla, sharing a bottle of expensive wine. The three mature women formed their own little circle of power.

"So," Isabel smiled, leaning closer to Eleanor as she poured her another glass. Her eyes twinkled with knowing curiosity. "How was he? I know Lynx can be... quite ruthless when he gets going. He doesn’t know how to hold back."

Eleanor took a slow sip of her wine, her purple eyes flickering as a deep, undeniable blush spread across her cheeks and down her slender neck.

The memory of last night was fresh. "He... he didn’t give us a single second to rest," Eleanor confessed softly, her voice dropping into an embarrassed whisper.

"I thought my mind was going to break. He handled all five of us simultaneously without showing even a hint of exhaustion. It was... overwhelming."

Layla let out a hearty laugh, taking a deep gulp from her glass. Her crimson eyes were bright with wine and memory. "Ruthless doesn’t cover it, Lady Isabel. I tried to fight back midway through, and he flipped me over and pounded me until I was crying his name like a prayer! Nadia couldn’t even stand up this morning! She was shaking!"

"Layla! Shut up!" Nadia shrieked from across the room, fanning her hot, red face furiously while Iris covered her blushing face with a couch pillow, hiding completely.

Lynx sat at the head of the grand velvet couch, leaning back comfortably with a glass of dark wine in his hand. He looked like a king on his throne, completely at ease.

On his left, Lira had snuggled directly into his side, her small head resting comfortably on his chest as she nibbled on a strawberry from the cake.

On his right, Kira had her legs draped casually over his lap, sipping her wine with a satisfied smirk. He had his girls exactly where he wanted them.

"You look pretty pleased with yourself, handsome," Kira teased, poking his cheek with her finger. Her deep orange eyes were playful.

"Why wouldn’t I be?" Lynx smirked lazily, taking a slow sip of his wine. His heterochromatic eyes scanned the room full of beautiful women. "I have the most beautiful women in the empire sitting in one room, all mine. Life is good. Very, very good."

"Cocky as ever," Ophelia chuckled from the adjacent armchair, her silver hair catching the golden chandelier light. She shook her head, but her smile was full of affection.

"Though... I suppose you’ve earned the right to be cocky today. The King himself granted you the Sovereign Transit Pass. Not many can say that."

"Oh yeah!" Ava gasped, setting her plate down. Her eyes lit up with excitement. "Lynx, show them the card. My dad had told me about it before, but I didn’t get to see it close up. He said it’s legendary."

Lynx casually reached into his coat pocket and pulled out the heavy, black Sovereign Transit Pass. The card thrummed with power.

He spun it effortlessly between his fingers, the silver runes etched along its edges flashing with faint spatial light. It looked priceless.

"Whoa..." Iris whispered, leaning forward from the couch to look at it. Her silver eyes were wide with awe. "That card literally commands any transport dealership in the empire. You could walk into the highest end showroom in the capital right now and take their flagship automobile without paying a single H-Crystal. That’s absolute authority."

"And that’s exactly what we’re going to do whenever we need a ride," Lynx grinned, sliding the card back into his pocket with a casual flick of his wrist.

As the party continued late into the afternoon, music played softly through the estate’s enchanted sound systems.

The melodies were soft and elegant, matching the golden hour. The girls drank, ate, and bonded seamlessly.

Any boundary that had once existed between the Year 2 core group and Eleanor’s Year 4 squad completely vanished. Laughter echoed off the marble walls.

They were no longer rivals or distant academy figures, they were Lynx’s women, bound together by his presence and his absolute power.

Around 5:00 PM, as the sun began to dip below the horizon, casting a deep golden and purple glow across the estate’s massive windows, the light in the room turned magical. Lynx stood up from the couch. The golden light caught his frame.

"Where are you going, Lynx?" Lira asked, looking up at him with big, affectionate green eyes. She didn’t want him to leave her side.

"Just taking a walk around the house," Lynx smiled, lightly patting her head. His touch was gentle. "Enjoy the cake, my small princess. Save me a slice."

"I’m not small!" Lira pouted playfully, though she immediately went back to her cake, smiling to herself.

Lynx walked out of the loud, joyful living room and headed down the quiet marble hallway toward the grand staircase. His footsteps echoed softly.

He climbed the curving stairs to the second floor. Unlike the ground floor, which was bustling with noise and activity, the second floor was quiet and serene, almost like a different world.

The noise faded away. As Amira had mentioned earlier, the entire second floor consisted of only four massive rooms, her mother’s old master room, two giant guest suites, and Amira’s personal bedroom.

Lynx walked down the carpeted hallway and pushed open the last door on the right.

Amira’s room.

The bedroom was massive, flooded with the deep golden light of the setting sun pouring through the floor-to-ceiling glass windows. The light made everything glow.

The room was clean, styled with deep navy blue sheets and crisp white walls. In the far corner stood her famous gaming setup, triple high definition monitors glowing with soft RGB light, accompanied by a plush, throne like gaming chair. It was a perfect mix of luxury and her personal style.

Standing near the large glass window, looking out over the heated backyard pool and the glowing garden fountains, was Amira.

She had a glass of clear liquor in her hand, her long, towel-dried hair falling loosely over her bare shoulders.

Her sleek black slip dress hugged every curve of her waist and broad hips, the delicate fabric practically translucent in the evening light. The sunset outlined her silhouette perfectly.

Lynx closed the door behind him with a soft click. The sound was quiet but definitive.

Amira didn’t turn around, but a slow, seductive smile spread across her lips as she heard his steady footsteps approaching on the soft carpet. She knew his steps by heart now.

"I knew you’d come up here eventually, my god-boy," Amira purred softly, taking a slow sip from her glass. Her voice was like velvet.

Lynx walked up behind her, his tall frame casting a dominant shadow over her figure. He reached out, wrapping his strong arms around her narrow waist from behind, pulling her flush against his chest. His warmth enveloped her.

Amira let out a soft, contented sigh, leaning her head back against his shoulder and letting her body melt into his warmth. She felt completely safe and completely desired at once.

"How are you holding up down there?" Lynx murmured near her ear, his deep voice sending a pleasant shiver straight down her spine. His breath was warm against her neck. "It’s pretty loud. A lot of energy."

"I love it," Amira admitted quietly, turning her head slightly to look into his heterochromatic eyes. Her dark eyes were soft, vulnerable for once.

"This house... it used to feel so empty after my mom died. It was just me, my gaming setup, and the silence. It was too big. But today... hearing all those girls laughing, eating, and talking about you... it actually feels like a home. For the first time in years."

Lynx smiled softly, resting his chin on her shoulder as his hands gently caressed her smooth stomach through the silk dress. His touch was tender, not just possessive. "I told you, Amira. You’re not alone anymore. This is your family now too."

Amira’s heart fluttered in her chest. She turned around in his arms, placing her hands on his broad chest and looking up into his dangerously handsome face.

Her dark eyes shimmered with deep, intense affection, glistening slightly with unshed tears of happiness.

"You really are something else, Lynx," Amira whispered softly, her fingers tracing the sharp line of his jaw.

Her touch was reverent. "Paying me 400 H-Crystals in your head during our first time... and now you’re standing here, the Champion of the continent, holding me in my own house. Life is crazy."
