My All Powerful System
Chapter 207: Unbelievable
With zero strain, Lynx seized absolute, total control of every rock, pillar, and fragment of earth on the entire three hundred meter stage. His control was stronger, older, deeper than theirs.
FLIP!
With a subtle wave of Lynx’s hand, the stone pillars that were supposed to impale him violently reversed direction.
They snapped off from the floor, turned upside down mid air, and shot back toward the three Earth users at five times their original speed. The earth users eyes went wide.
"WHAT?!" the three Earth users screamed in pure panic, trying to recall their elemental control over the rock. They pushed their mana hard, their rings burning.
But their connection was completely severed, Lynx’s command over the Earth was absolute, sovereign, and untouchable. Their earth did not listen to them anymore. It listened to him.
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
The massive stone pillars slammed directly into the three Earth users, crushing their defensive barriers instantly like glass and pinning them flat against the granite floor.
They screamed as the heavy rock crushed their legs and chests. Then they went silent, unconscious.
Simultaneously, as the barrage of fireballs and lightning spears rained down from above, Lynx didn’t raise a shield. He raised his left hand, his fingers dancing through the air as his Fire and Lightning affinities flared. Golden and white light.
SWIRL!
The incoming fireballs and lightning spears froze mid-air three meters above Lynx’s head. Under the awe struck gaze of the entire stadium, the hostile elemental attacks didn’t detonate, they fused together, bending to Lynx’s willpower like obedient pets, forming a massive, swirling sphere of condensed, fiery lightning above his palm. It crackled and burned.
Lynx looked at the three long range attackers in the back, his smirk turning utterly terrifying. His eyes glowed.
"Here. You dropped these."
With a casual toss, like tossing a ball, Lynx hurled the fused elemental sphere straight back at the three attackers.
BOOOOOOOOM!
A blinding explosion of fire and electricity consumed the rear line of the Void formation. The massive shockwave blew away the stone dust, revealing the three long range fighters lying scorched, battered, and unconscious in a crater of shattered granite. Their clothes were burned. Their rings were dim.
In less than three minutes, ten Void fighters had been completely, decisively wiped off the board.
Lynx stood in the center of the devastation, his pristine uniform without a single speck of dirt, his posture relaxed, his eyes shining with absolute, untouchable dominance.
"TEN! TEN FIGHTERS DOWN!" the commentator roared into his microphone, his face turning red with excitement, spit flying from his mouth.
"TEN VOID FIGHTERS ELIMINATED IN LESS THAN FIVE MINUTES! LYNX AZARION IS PERFORMING A ONE MAN SLAUGHTER! HE IS MANIPULATING THEIR OWN ELEMENTAL ATTACKS WITH IMPOSSIBLE PRECISION! I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THIS IN MY TWENTY YEARS OF COMMENTATING!"
Up in the Aether enclosure, the first year students were jumping up and down, screaming Lynx’s name until their throats were hoarse and sore.
"LYNX! LYNX! LYNX! LYNX!"
They were crying and laughing at the same time. They were hitting the railing.
Eleanor stood near the railing, her jaw slightly open as she watched Lynx effortlessly dismantle the Void ranks.
She turned to Nadia, who was staring at the stage in complete, stunned silence. Nadia’s arms had fallen to her sides.
"He... he didn’t even sweat," Nadia muttered, her eyes wide, her voice barely a whisper. "He took control of their earth and fire like he owned them! Like they were his affinity attack to begin with! What kind of mastery is that?"
On the Void professors balcony, the faculty members were standing up, slamming their tables in rage. Papers flew. Glasses broke.
"Incompetent fools! How can ten boosted fighters be defeated by one second year?! Jax! Kael! Valen! Get in there and kill him! Don’t embarrass Void anymore!" the head dean shouted, his face purple with anger.
Jax, Kael, Valen, and Kain stood in front of the remaining eight Void fighters. Their faces were dark, their eyes filled with fury and a growing thread of real terror that they tried to hide. Sweat was pouring down their backs.
Jax stepped forward, his body swelling as his Earth and Fire affinities flared together. The ground under him cracked.
"He’s a monster with elemental manipulation," Jax said through gritted teeth. "We can’t attack him from range, and we can’t hit him with basic earth or fire.
He will just take control. We have to rush him simultaneously with physical martial combat! No elements, just fists and speed!"
"I’ll take his left!" Kael shouted, his Wind affinity wrapping around his legs, making him light.
"I’ll take his right!" Valen added, his Wind and Earth combining into a dust storm around his body.
"I’ll take his head!" Kain roared, his 4x cheat ring burning bright despite his lingering fatigue from his fight with Ophelia.
"ATTACK!" Jax commanded, his voice breaking.
The four elite Void combatants, along with four supporting fighters behind them, charged at Lynx from eight different angles at once.
The sheer speed of their synchronized strike created sonic booms across the stage. The granite shattered behind their feet as they launched.
Lynx smiled. It was a cold, sharp smile.
Lightning Stride.
BOOM!
Lynx didn’t just move, he vanished from reality. The sheer speed of his movement was sixty times faster than any normal combatant could ever perceive. The air where he stood collapsed inward.
To the spectators, it looked as if Lynx had simply ceased to exist. One second he was there, next second he was gone.
Jax’s broadsword struck empty granite, creating a huge crack. Kael’s wind blades sliced through thin air. Kain’s fiery fist hit nothing but dust.
"WHERE IS HE?!" Kael screamed, pivoting mid-air, his eyes darting everywhere in panic.
"Behind you," a calm, smooth voice whispered right into his ear. The breath was cold.
Kael’s hair stood on end. Goosebumps covered his entire body. Before he could turn his head, Lynx’s palm pressed gently against the back of his neck. The touch was light.
Ice SSS Rank.
FREEZE!
Instant, absolute frost exploded from Lynx’s palm. It was not normal ice. It was deep blue, ancient, absolute zero frost. In less than a microsecond, Kael’s entire body was encased in a thick, solid block of SSS Rank blue ice.
He became a statue. His mouth was open in a scream that never came out. He fell to the ground like a statue, frozen solid from head to toe, completely unable to move or breathe. He was still alive inside, but trapped.
"KAEL!" Valen shrieked in horror, seeing his friend turn into an ice block.
Lynx didn’t even look at the frozen ice block. He stepped sideways, moving like a phantom through the air, appearing directly in front of two supporting Void fighters who were rushing him with long spears, aiming for his heart.
Lynx caught both spear shafts with his bare hands. The tips stopped one inch from his chest. He didn’t break them. He simply twisted his wrists with effortless strength.
CRACK!
The force of his raw strength ripped the spears out of their hands and shattered their wrists simultaneously. The bones snapped loud. Before they could cry out in pain, Lynx delivered a double kick straight to their chests. It was so fast you could barely see his legs move.
BOOM!
Both fighters shot backward like cannonballs, crashing into two more supporting fighters behind them who were trying to flank. All four tumbled across the granite, rolling over and over, out cold, their armor broken.
"YOU BASTARD!" Valen roared, tears in his eyes. He swept a compressed blade of wind toward Lynx’s throat, putting all his mana into it. The blade was sharp enough to cut steel.
Lynx raised his right hand, casually catching the razor sharp wind blade with his bare fingers. The wind hissed and sparked against his skin, unable to leave even a scratch. His skin glowed faintly.
"Nice wind," Lynx commented casually, looking Valen in the eye. His voice was almost teaching. "Here’s what real wind looks like."
Lynx released a short burst of his Wind Affinity from his palm. Just a puff.
BOOOOOOM!
The atmospheric impact hit Valen like a physical battering ram, like being hit by a train made of air. Valen’s wind armor shattered instantly into pieces, his ribs cracked loudly with a sickening sound, and he was hurled across the stage, rolling helplessly into the boundary sand pit. He landed face first in the sand.
"OUT OF BOUNDS! VALEN IS ELIMINATED!" the referee announced, his voice shaking.
In less than two minutes, the four supporting fighters, Kael, and Valen had been wiped out. Six more down.
Only Jax, Kain Draven, Kimberly Vane, and four remaining Void elites were left standing on the vast, ruined platform. Twelve had fallen. Ten remained, but the strongest three were still there.
Silence fell over the arena once more. The Void side was breathing heavily, covered in sweat and blood and dust, while Lynx stood calmly, casually wiping his hands on his pants, his expression as unbothered as when he first stepped out. He wasn’t even breathing hard.
Up in the VIP booths and high tier viewing lounges, very wealthy people, imperial generals, and visiting dignitaries were leaning out of their windows. Their faces were pale with shock. Some were standing. Some had dropped their wine glasses.
"Unbelievable..." an old battle general whispered, his old hands trembling on his cane. His eyes were wide. "He isn’t using complex powers. He isn’t using divine artifacts. He isn’t chanting. He is using pure, flawless elemental mastery and raw physical speed! He is predicting every movement before it happens! This boy... this boy is not a student. He is a weapon."
"Look at his uniform!" a noblewoman gasped, pointing with a shaking finger. "Not a single tear! Not a single spot of dirt! He has fought sixteen men and he is still spotless! He is playing with Void’s elites like they are children!"
Down on the stage, Jax and Kain stood side by side, their teeth grinding in pure desperation. Their chests were heaving up and down. Sweat ran down their faces and mixed with dust.
They looked at the ice block that was once Kael. They looked at the bodies scattered everywhere.
"His rings!" Kain hissed, pointing at Lynx’s hands with a trembling finger. His voice was cracking. "No, he doesn’t have a ring! He’s just naturally this fast! How is this possible?! No Blessed Our Age should be this fast without a boost!"
"It doesn’t matter!" Jax snarled, his eyes bloodshot red. He tried to sound brave but his voice was shaking. "We have the 4x boost rings! We still have more raw output if we combine our power! Six of us together is stronger than one! Kain, we hit him together! No holding back! Everything!"
The four remaining Void fodder fighters joined Jax and Kain, forming a defensive ring around each other. All six of them held up their hands, activating their obsidian cheat rings at maximum capacity. They screamed as they did it.
A terrifying, dark aura erupted from all six fighters simultaneously. It was black and purple and wrong.
