After dealing with the issue of the children, Tan Rou wanted to find the person in charge of the airport. This time, the airport authority should have no reason to refuse her again.

The person in charge said, “Miss Tan Rou, I know you’re not pleased, but I really can’t think of anyone else besides you.”

Tan Rou turned around and said, “You don’t want to offend the local gangs, nor do you want to pay too much to deal with this matter. The only solution is to let an unfortunate soul help you out, and I just happen to be that unfortunate soul. I suppose this isn’t the first time you’ve had someone solve the problem of those little hoodlums for you, is it?”

The person in charge narrowed his eyes with a smile, “Miss Tan Rou is indeed a clever person.”

“Hmph,” Tan Rou said, “You’re much cleverer than I am.” Having said that, Tan Rou left the person in charge’s office. She needed to cash the check he had given her. After such a long delay, it was good to get some compensation.

Shang Jin and the others were waiting anxiously in the room. If there hadn’t been someone keeping watch outside, they would have gone to find Tan Rou by now.

The guards then left.

Shang Jin asked, “Can we take the child with us as well?”

Tan Rou showed her the proof, “We got into trouble just to get this proof, but now that we have it, we can take him with us.”

In a fit of anger Shang Jin said, “Let’s hurry up and leave, I never want to come to this country again!”

Tan Rou agreed with her, “Me neither.”

The group quickly packed up their things, and as soon as the plane landed, they boarded and prepared to leave.

Since it was a last-minute arrangement, they were not seated together, but in separate places. Shang Jin was seated in the middle, the three of them, Tan Rou and the others, were seated at the back, Lang Yue alone at the very last row, and Tan Rou sat with Agila.

This arrangement was likely made by the person in charge since Agila was only nine years old and could not travel alone on a plane.

“I haven’t had the chance to ask you yet, how did you get to this airport?” After all the issues had been taken care of, Tan Rou finally had the opportunity to ask Agila questions.

Agila looked down and answered softly, “I had a fight with my mom, and then I sneaked out.”

Tan Rou asked, “Country J is very far from here, could you really run that far?”
