Chapter 335 Who Else Were You Expecting
"This shirt pairs much better with my suit than the one prior. Why don't you pick out my clothes for me every morning?" Yang Feng was working very hard to earn a pat from his owner's head. He wagged his tail for her and she ignored him with an annoyed expression on her face.
She knew the real reason why he wanted her to change was not that she would get cold, but it was because he didn't want her to show her neck to anyone else. And here she walked down, in a high-collared blouse. She could've been wearing a blazer with her previous top, but he had left marks on her neck that would not go away for at least the next couple of days.
Fan Jielan's banquet was approaching soon, and she didn't want anything that would prevent her from wearing the dress Yang Ruqin had designed for her.
Yang Feng smiled wider for her; even when she proceeded to swat at the hand reaching to cup her face. "Babe, you look even cuter when you're angry. Silent treatments do not work on me." He truthfully told her, his eyes crinkling from his large smile.Find authorized novels in NovelFull, faster updates, better experience,Please click www.NovelFull.com for visiting.
Don't do it. Don't look at him. God damn it. She couldn't resist it anymore. She just had to sneak a peek his way. She loved his smile. It warmed her entire body and caused her heart to beat erratically. She thought the world would stop whenever he smiled. And perhaps it did because all of his smiles were show-stopping.
It was just her luck that her small glance made eye contact with him. Seeing his words were paying off, his eyes brightened. "Such an adorable little thing you are." He grabbed her dainty hand and kissed the top of it, causing her face to flush red.
"Stop that!" She hissed, pulling her hand back but he only wrapped his arms around her. She pretended she didn't like it, but her eyes said otherwise.
He could feel the happiness oozing from her. He wanted to be playful and begin kissing other places, but her attention was no longer on him. He saw her eyes scanning the woman standing by their large door.
Lu Shanshan saw her lady boss curious stare. She smiled and politely bowed her head. "It's an honor to see you early in the morning, lady-boss. My name is Lu Shanshan and I am President Yang's personal assistant."
Zhao Lifei's lips quirked up a bit. Seeing her smile for the first time since their little… struggle upstairs, Yang Feng was ecstatic. He was going to give Lu Shanshan a bonus.
"You're married?" Zhao Lifei curiously asked when she saw the diamond ring resting on Lu Shanshan's hand. It was paired with a simple platinum band that seemed to have etchings of roman numerals.
"Yes, I have a son as well." Lu Shanshan responded, her eyes brightening at the mention of her adorable little bun.
Zhao Lifei's lips lifted upwards. A son huh? She touched her stomach, an unrecognizable expression on her face. She briefly glanced at her red shoes and turned to Yang Feng whose eyes were trained on her the entire time.
"I want a daughter." He said to her with a serious expression. "No, one is not enough. Give me as many as you healthily can." His humorless face made her nervously laugh.
"Why don't you give birth to her instead? Then you'll see how painful it is." She scoffed, crossing her arms. "Two or three is enough for us."
'What about my soccer team of children?' Yang Feng asked himself with a disappointed expression.
Lu Shanshan wondered if there was a blizzard in the middle of summer. The gentle expression on her Boss face was something she had never witnessed before. She didn't even think he was capable of having such tenderness like that. Soft smiles, a face full of devotion...He was becoming more and more human-like.
She subconsciously searched for the source of it and her eyes landed upon Zhao Lifei.
Lu Shanshan began to feel more respect for her lady boss. Truly, she was an amazing woman.
Lu Shanshan did not understand why everyone seemed to be so hesitant about her.
"You should head to work now. I also have to get going." Zhao Lifei placed one hand on his upper arm and used it as a leverage to stand higher. She rested her hand on his cheek and kissed it. "I'll see you later."
Yang Feng grabbed her small waist and yanked her back to him. "That was not a proper goodbye kiss". He kissed her on the lips. He would've deepened but she kept her lips firmly closed.
"Greedy." She mumbled against his lips; giving it a final peck and then leaving, purposefully giving him a show by swinging her hips. She turned her head back, blew him a kiss and swaggered off.
'What a woman!'
Yang Feng stared at her retreating form with hooded eyes. 'Damn it. Why did it have to be so early in the morning?' If he could have it his way, he would've dragged that cute little butt back to bed and take his time with her.

Zhao Lifei was prepared for a lecture. She dreadfully stared at the opening elevator doors that signaled her fate. She stepped out and lifted her chin. Every time she passed an employee, they would stop whatever they were doing, stand up, and bow to formally greet their President.
"Good morning."
"Welcome back."
"I hope your morning has gone well."
These were just a handful of the responses she received from her employees. She would respond with a nod of acknowledgment or a small smile.
Rounding the corner and pushing the door to Huo Qiudong's office open, she said, "First of all, I have zero control over my comatose. It's not like I wanted to sleep for four days..." She stopped talking.
Huo Qiudong was nowhere to be found. The empty and untouched chair was a peculiar sight. Usually, he was the first one in the office and the last one to leave. Where did he go?
Zhao Lifei wondered why the door was left unlocked and nearly facepalmed herself. The doorknob had an automatic sensor that would unlock for certain fingerprints. She was one of them.
"Whew, that means I can escape from him for the remainder of the day." She said out loud, shifting her clutch to her other hand. She began to walk out of the room when the door opened again. Like a deer caught in the headlights, her body was frozen to the ground.
Huo Qiudong looked like he was run over by a truck. His ruly and ungelled hair gave an edge to his appearance. Some areas of his hair were parted from running his fingers through it. His tie was crooked, the first two buttons of his shirt were undone, and the zipper of his briefcase was half-shut. Overall, he was a mess.
Zhao Lifei wondered what happened to him. "Good morning. You look like you need a cup of coffee ASAP."
He jumped, his poor heart frightened by her voice. "B-boss, I didn't expect to see you here so early."
"Well? Who else were you expecting?" She curiously asked. "Did you wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? You look… different."
Huo Qiudong's drained expression toughened up when he remembered what had happened this morning.
