Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 1154 - 1155
As she spoke, Anna’s tears fell sadly.
She had acted for so many years, feigning pity and injustice was not exclusive to Zoe Quinn.
"Anna!"
Mr. Monroe watched the mother and daughter on the stage, thinking of Mrs. Monroe’s previous compromise and Anna’s obedience, realizing they deliberately made a scene here.
"Enough is enough, come down right now."
Mr. Monroe lowered his voice, threatening, "I never thought of divorcing your mother, come down, we are still a family."
This was indirectly telling Mrs. Monroe that if she kept causing trouble, he would only divorce her.
He wouldn’t be kind to Anna either.
"Go up and bring Mrs. and Eldest Miss Monroe down."
Mr. Monroe turned to the bodyguard waiting beside him.
As he spoke, guests below the stage took out their phones to record.
Miles Morgan was not in a hurry; he knew he could threaten them later to delete the videos.
Right now, the most urgent thing was to remove Mrs. Monroe and Anna, who were embarrassing him.
Mrs. Monroe looked at the two tall bodyguards coming up and grabbed Anna’s clothes, "Anna!"
Having stayed at home too long, Mrs. Monroe only knew how to take care of her husband and children.
Mr. Monroe kicked her away when she was of no use.
"Mom, we haven’t finished talking yet, how can we go down!"
Anna wasn’t that scared; she knew there were people below the stage protecting her.
The bodyguard stepped forward, and as soon as he touched Anna’s hand, she kicked him away.
After two cries of pain, the scene became very quiet.
Some guests looked at the worsening situation in panic, some remained calm and stood aside watching, while others suddenly squeezed to the front, phones in hand, recording one after another.
"Mrs. Monroe."
The guests at the forefront grew agitated, reaching out with their phones, asking.
"Mrs. Monroe, does this mean you actually disagree with Mr. Monroe’s actions, so why did you attend this banquet?"
"Were you forced?"
"With Mr. Monroe’s infidelity, are you planning to divorce him?"
Then someone asked Anna, "Eldest Miss Monroe, what do you think about Mr. Monroe’s infidelity? Will you still acknowledge him as your father in the future?"
"Mr. Monroe, you became the Morgan Family’s leader relying on Mrs. Monroe’s family’s support, now you keep a mistress outside and even bring her home, aren’t you afraid of being called ungrateful and worse than a beast?"
Questions kept coming one after another, the people at the forefront seemed crazy, very interested in the Morgan Family’s affairs.
This scene exposed their identities, not only did Mr. Monroe realize who they were, others guessed too.
"Are these people reporters?"
"With such disgraceful matters, Mr. Monroe still dared to invite reporters!"
"Is he betting all his reputation to promote the mistress?"
Sarcastic and disdainful voices followed one after another.
The matter of Mr. Monroe having a mistress wasn’t rare in upper society. Among men, many felt it was normal.
However, Mr. Monroe dared to make it public, wanting to emulate the ancient practices of taking concubines, this was rare.
Inviting reporters too, in modern society, regardless of how powerful the Morgan Family is, regardless of Miles Morgan’s capabilities, when one person discusses it, others follow.
"With such a man, Mrs. Monroe should divorce early."
A cold, sarcastic voice rang out, overshadowing all the discussions.
