Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 1076 - 1075: You Raised Them All to Be Useless
The old master protects, he can’t deal with Finn Chandler, but he still has...
Thinking of this, Third Young Master Chambers’ smile became even more sinister, making Finn’s heart tremble. She stared into his eyes, threateningly saying, "Third brother, don’t be too ruthless."
Surviving a near-death experience, Third Young Master Chambers is capable of anything!
Finn’s warning didn’t have much effect on him; she hoped that the people guarding outside would follow Third Young Master Chambers to quickly find the little one.
"The child is still useful, bear with it!"
Before Third Young Master Chambers left casually, the old master said one more sentence.
Their conversation no longer considered Finn.
The old master stood there and gave Finn a cold glance.
"Grandpa, how long do you want to keep me here!"
Finn asked, looking at the slightly hunched back of the old master. The old master was no longer young, and The Chambers Family, like him, was rushing towards its end.
"Keeping me here, can it really change anything?" Finn sneered and asked again.
"You forced my mother downstairs, you married off Pearl Chambers to fix the gaps in The Chambers Corporation, is it really useful?"
The old master did it out of spite, but it didn’t help The Chambers Corporation at all!
"Shut up!"
The old master snapped coldly, he turned around and briskly walked towards Finn with his cane.
Originally thinking he could reach Finn in one step, but three steps later, his pace visibly slowed down.
He stopped a meter away from Finn, gasping heavily.
He was old!
"Grandpa!"
Finn said again, "You think I ruined The Chambers Corporation, but who exactly ruined The Chambers Family, you know better than I do!"
"When you were young, you poured your energy into the company, neglecting the education of your children. When you felt guilty towards them, you desperately tried to compensate."
"This is a form of indulgence!"
Finn said loudly.
These words, no one else dared to say to the old master.
The hierarchy in The Chambers Family was clear, the old master controlled the fate of everyone from top to bottom.
"Take Mr. Chambers for instance, he’s promiscuous and irresponsible, a lover after lover, and even more children."
"After breaking up, he provides them with money, thinking that’s his responsibility as a man and a father. In fact, he’s nothing!" The more Finn spoke, the angrier she got; the old master said she ruined The Chambers Family, but actually, The Chambers Family almost ruined her.
"Being a father means being responsible to your wife and strict yet tolerant to your children. Having one wife is not enough, he likes new over old, allowing them to compete for the position of Mrs. Chambers through pregnancy."
"After the children are born, he pays no attention. No, a son can be brought to The Chambers Family for upbringing, daughters are left to fend for themselves until they grow up, to be married off to wealthy men in exchange for funds for The Chambers Corporation."
"This is the son you raised, old master!"
"Finn!"
The old master disliked what she said, "You’ve deceived me for years and still speak nonsense here."
"Did I say anything wrong?" Finn asked humorously, "Wasn’t the situation of The Chambers Corporation and The Chambers Family caused by you alone?"
"If it weren’t for you only wanting grandsons and not granddaughters, my mom wouldn’t have come up with a way to hide the truth, letting me pretend to be a boy to win your favor."
"It was your preference for sons over daughters, your outdated thinking that led to the downfall of The Chambers Family."
"Otherwise, if I really gave up the identity of Young Master Chambers, why couldn’t you find another ’Young Master Chambers’ to take over The Chambers Corporation? It’s because you ruined all those grandsons and sons!"
