Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 1061 - 1060: Throw Him Out
"How could Little Bao have gone missing!"
Mrs. Ford was indeed getting old; upon hearing her grandson was lost, she panicked and her eyes welled up with tears.
Finn Chandler sat there silently while Julian Ford explained the events consecutively to Mrs. Ford.
Mrs. Ford thought of Fiona Ford, whom she had raised for so many years, and coldly said, "Fiona came to The Ford Family early in the morning and intentionally talked to me about her mother, trying to divert my attention from The Ford Family."
If she had been here, it wouldn’t be so easy for the man to steal the child.
The boyfriend, the marriage, it’s all fake.
Fiona Ford set a trap and made the entire Ford Family jump blindly into it.
"I wonder how your father feels knowing he’s raised such a person!" Mrs. Ford regretted deeply; she shouldn’t have softened, shouldn’t have invited Fiona Ford over for dinner, and certainly shouldn’t have allowed Fiona’s people to stay in the house.
But, at this point, saying anything about regret is useless!
Fiona Ford colluded with outsiders to kidnap Little Bao; the most urgent thing is to find the child.
"Finn Chandler."
Mrs. Ford walked up to Finn Chandler, seeing her sit there as if she’d lost her soul, and said softly, "Don’t worry, it’s alright, Little Bao will be found."
Finn Chandler forced herself to gather some spirit and smiled at Mrs. Ford, "I know."
She said she knew, but in her heart, she had no assurance.
Little Bao was just a child, still in his swaddling clothes, with nothing to protect him; if the person who took him starves him for a few days, his life could be at risk.
Fiona Ford dared to steal a child from The Ford Family; she would dare to go hard on Little Bao.
The more Finn Chandler thought about it, the more scared she became; she felt like her heart was being gripped tightly, causing her to feel as if her whole heart was about to be dug out from her chest.
And the person doing the digging was Fiona Ford.
"I’ll go check the guest room, see if the man left any clues."
Finn Chandler said, looking at Julian Ford.
"Alright!" Julian Ford replied, his son being taken; Finn Chandler forced herself to suppress her inner pain, but he was equally tormented.
"Julian, today, Mom was too careless."
Mrs. Ford was truly feeling guilty; how could she have been so easily deceived by Fiona Ford, leaving Little Bao alone at home to go find Mr. Ford!
"Finding Little Bao is the priority."
Julian Ford replied calmly, "I’ll go check on Finn."
Mrs. Ford, with tears in her eyes, watched Julian Ford go out, asking the butler to gather all the housemaids together for questioning, especially the maid responsible for taking care of that man.
After half a day’s questioning, nothing useful was uncovered.
The more this went on, the clearer it was in her mind that Little Bao’s disappearance was all part of Fiona Ford’s early plan.
She wanted to use Little Bao to pierce the heart of the Ford Family.
The Eldest Master Ford drove back, sensing something was not right at home before even entering the main hall.
Once inside, he saw a group of maids surrounding Mrs. Ford, her eyes red, looking like she’d been crying.
The couple had been together for so many years; The Eldest Master Ford had never seen Mrs. Ford shed tears.
"What’s going on?"
He walked over and asked Mrs. Ford.
Mrs. Ford saw him return and immediately glared at him with hatred.
"Throw him out for me!"
Mrs. Ford angrily shouted, now seeing Mr. Ford just fueled her anger.
If Mr. Ford hadn’t stubbornly protected Fiona Ford, such a thing wouldn’t have happened in The Ford Family.
"Why are you kicking me out!"
Mr. Ford was bewildered; what had he done to make Mrs. Ford angry!
Was it because he invited Fiona Ford over for dinner?
Wasn’t that done with Mrs. Ford’s consent!
Other than that, he hadn’t done anything!
