"Still in the operating room."

Julian Ford replied in a calm voice.

"What will I do if anything happens to her!"

Julian Ford slowly said.

He looked at Ethan Grant, his eyes reddened over and over again, the unstoppable sadness making it unbearable to watch.

Ethan Grant had never seen Julian Ford like this.

"Serena doesn’t know about this yet, I didn’t dare tell her."

Ethan Grant changed the subject, mentioning Serena Sullivan.

The operating room’s door opened, when they saw the doctor coming out, Julian Ford and Anna Morgan approached.

"How’s my wife?"

Julian Ford asked.

"She was sent in time."

"We performed a cesarean section, the child..." Before the doctor finished speaking, Julian Ford saw the trolley being pushed out from inside and hurried to it.

He held Finn Chandler’s hand, who hadn’t yet woken up, following them to the ward.

Anna Morgan also wanted to follow, she took two steps and realized something wasn’t quite right.

"What about the family? Is the child not needed?"

Anna Morgan heard the voice, turned to see the nurse holding a child coming out, she wanted to call out to Julian Ford in front, but Julian Ford had already followed Finn Chandler and disappeared.

"Is this Finn Chandler’s?"

Anna Morgan went over, gazing at the tiny child wrapped in swaddling clothes, suddenly feeling overwhelmingly heartbroken.
