Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure
Chapter 1011 - 1010: Of Course I’m Afraid
The woman nestled in the man’s arms glanced over, their eyes met, she froze for a moment, and anger swiftly flashed in her eyes.
Finn Chandler also froze, how could it be Pearl Chambers!
She’s supposed to be at the police station, how is she out?
Mrs. Chambers threatened Finn Chandler with death to get Pearl Chambers out.
Even though Mrs. Chambers jumped to her death, Finn Chandler did not compromise.
She doesn’t believe it was Julian Ford who arranged it.
Finn Chandler withdrew her gaze, pretending not to recognize her, and walked toward the restroom.
On the way, she felt Pearl Chambers’ gaze behind her, as if it could pierce two holes into her body.
Just as she reached the restroom and was about to push the door open, hurried footsteps sounded behind her, "Finn Chandler!"
An angry voice followed, and Finn Chandler knew Pearl Chambers would come over.
"Seeing me like this now, are you satisfied?"
Pearl Chambers angrily questioned.
The secretary saw Pearl Chambers approaching aggressively and stood in front of Finn Chandler. Finn did not refuse the secretary’s goodwill; her current condition was that of two people facing the extremely furious Pearl Chambers, naturally cautious.
When Pearl Chambers encountered her, there would certainly be a commotion. Finn Chandler thought about it and stepped out of the restroom to find a surveillance point nearby.
Yes, they would talk right under the surveillance.
"You’re scared!"
Pearl Chambers followed, looked at the surveillance on the wall, and sneered coldly.
"You’ve done too many guilty things, so you’re scared!"
"Of course I’m scared."
Finn Chandler replied, "But not because of guilty actions."
She feared that the desperate Pearl Chambers could suddenly turn irrational and push her.
Under the surveillance, it could make Pearl Chambers, who fears death, weigh her actions carefully and not dare to act rashly.
"Finn Chandler, it was you who killed mom."
Pearl Chambers said, her eyes turning red, her emotions carrying a certain degree of authenticity.
Finn Chandler watched her shed tears, only felt it was insincere.
A woman who could push her own mother off the building sheds tears for her mother; isn’t this just the crocodile tears?
"What does her death have to do with me!"
Finn Chandler replied amusedly.
"As far as I remember, it was you who pushed her off the building."
"Nonsense!" Pearl Chambers instinctively retorted, even if the video surveillance existed, she had entered the police station, facing Finn Chandler, she still insisted it wasn’t her.
In Pearl Chambers’ mind, she and Mrs. Chambers were on one side, Finn Chandler was not.
Finn Chandler wasn’t her sister, she was the one Mrs. Chambers had given birth to and raised them.
"It was you who killed mom!"
Pearl Chambers’ emotions heightened, "If it weren’t for you, I wouldn’t have fallen to this point!"
This statement intrigued Finn Chandler; she really wanted to know how Pearl Chambers got out of the police station, who had such connections to pull strings for her.
"How did you get out?"
"It wasn’t me who harmed mom, of course, I could get out."
"Unlike you, who could ignore mom jumping off a building, and didn’t even attend the funeral."
Pearl Chambers spoke more and more viciously; in her view, pushing Mrs. Chambers down the stairs was Finn Chandler’s fault.
"Finn Chandler, it was you who caused mom to lose her life."
Pearl Chambers gritted her teeth and said fiercely; with outsiders watching, she spoke even more forcefully, wanting everyone to know it was Finn Chandler’s fault that Mrs. Chambers died.
There were already quite a few reports about Mrs. Chambers’ death outside.
However, after the wedding, it was quickly suppressed by The Ford Family.
The media in Solaria had quick eyes, with Julian Ford and Mrs. Ford protecting Finn Chandler so much, how could they find fault and slander her?
