Mr. Grant Treats Me Like a Treasure

Chapter 1005 - 1004: Faithful to the End

"But, Dad, no one can tolerate another woman coveting her own husband."

"What do you mean by that!"

Mr. Ford took a few deep breaths, softened his voice, and asked Finn Chandler.

"What Fiona Ford wants in her heart, Dad should be clear about."

It should be said that deep down, Mr. Ford also had the notion of matching Julian Ford with Fiona Ford, but the Wife of the Eldest Master Ford was unwilling, and suddenly Finn Chandler showed up.

"She and Julian have been childhood sweethearts; is this feeling something you can compare to?"

Sure enough, Mr. Ford sneered disdainfully at Finn Chandler.

"So what if they’re childhood sweethearts? When did Julian ever say he liked her, Fiona Ford!"

"Mr. Ford, your son is already married, and your daughter-in-law is also pregnant. Do you still want to break them up so your son can be with the daughter of the woman you love?"

Mrs. Ford questioned coldly.

"Your Ford Family likes vixens, but my son must be faithful, no divorce!"

Mrs. Ford’s words left Mr. Ford stunned. Just when everyone thought he had nothing to say, he pointed at the Wife of the Eldest Master Ford and said coldly, "The biggest regret of my life is marrying such a domineering and cold woman like you."

"I’m telling you here, Fiona Ford is the daughter-in-law I recognize."

What’s wrong with wanting my first love’s daughter and son to be together and make up for past regrets!

Mr. Ford had been suppressed for too long. After he spoke, he turned and left the Ford Family.

The Wife of the Eldest Master Ford watched his departing back, sitting there helplessly.

Finn Chandler looked at Mrs. Ford’s desolate expression and couldn’t help but feel guilty, realizing that their argument was related to her.

"Mom..."

She didn’t finish her sentence before Mrs. Ford raised her hand to stop her.

"There’s no need to apologize."

"She knows Julian is with you, yet she covets him, which shows she is not a good person."

"You hit her, and you did well!"

How could the affairs of the Ford household escape Mrs. Ford’s notice?

When Finn Chandler and Fiona Ford quarreled in the garden, Mrs. Ford had sent people to help, worried that Finn Chandler would be bullied. When she learned that Finn Chandler slapped Fiona Ford, she even more felt that her judgment and Julian’s were correct.

"Julian is your husband. If you let others covet and take him away, then you’re not fit to be his wife, nor the lady of the Ford Family."

Mrs. Ford said this with a hint of sadness in her eyes.

There were some things she didn’t say completely.

Julian Ford and Finn Chandler were in love, so they stood united against outsiders.

She and Mr. Ford were in a marriage alliance; before the marriage, Mr. Ford had another woman he loved. That woman left behind a daughter. It was through marriage and the Ford Family that she was forced to accept it.

She had no choice but to agree; however, over the years, she had suffered too much pain, making life hard to endure.

"I’m a bit tired now, I’m going to my room to rest."

Mrs. Ford said, getting up to leave the dining room. Finn Chandler watched Mrs. Ford’s departing figure, still feeling uncomfortable.

She wouldn’t let anyone covet her husband. Having been with The Chambers Corporation for so many years, if she identified a project, she would fight with all her might against the competitors. Once she got it, she wouldn’t let it be taken away.

When Julian Ford returned and saw Finn Chandler alone with a table full of dishes, he asked her why she seemed so listless.

Finn Chandler didn’t hide it and told Julian Ford about the argument between Mr. Ford and Mrs. Ford.

Julian Ford chuckled, "It was bound to erupt eventually. You have nothing to feel guilty about."

"If you say it was for you, it’s better to say it was for themselves."
