Under her umbrella, Fu Huai’an stood before Lin Nuan, his figure appearing tall and fit. He locked the car door and put his hands in his pockets. The raindrops dripping from the tree leaves hit the surface of the umbrella. He smiled vaguely as he looked at her and asked, “Or do you want it?”

“I don’t!” Lin Nuan immediately denied it. Her face was burning hot.

She noticed Fu Huai’an’s shoulder was getting wet and shifted the umbrella towards him to block the rain for him. She denied what he just said in her heart and kept still.

She felt her hand grow sour since Fu Huai’an was quite tall. She avoided his gaze so he wouldn’t notice that she was blushing.

The leaves were rustling in the wind, and the raindrops dripped onto her burning hot ears and made them itch. She contracted her neck and used the back of her hand to scratch her ear.

Fu Huai’an looked at her red cheeks. He then grasped the hand she was using to hold the umbrella and pulled her towards him. He lowered the umbrella and placed his other hand on her waist, pressing her against him.

As she indulged in his familiar, mature scent, she grasped onto his suit tightly, her heart pounding. She was afraid of encountering a neighbor or passing pedestrians in broad daylight.

“Do you feel it?” Fu Huai’an leaned into her and pressed his lips against her ear. His deep, magnetic voice together with the heat traveled into her eardrums and made her shudder.

Lin Nuan grabbed onto his suit tightly, her legs growing weak as she tried to move back in panic. Her ears were her sensitive region!

How could she not feel the subtle yet clear change in his body when they were pressed up against each other?

Fu Huai’an held onto her hand and lowered the umbrella even further. He kissed her lips gently, then said, “I want you more than you can imagine!”

His voice sounded even deeper and sexier because of his emotions, and Lin Nuan felt something awaken in her body as well.

She looked down, unable to match his gaze. She could barely breathe properly.

As she heard her apartment door open, she lowered the umbrella and tried to break loose from his embrace as she pushed his arms back. Yet she accidentally stepped into the pond behind her…

Fu Huai’an couldn’t pull her back in time, and her whole foot got soaked in water. She felt the coldness creep up from her foot into her spine.

“What are you panicking for?”

Fu Huai’an’s smile and magnetic voice made her even more uneasy. She couldn’t help but bite on her lip and avoid his eyes.

She noticed his shoes and pants were already wet from the rain as well.

“Go upstairs to change your shoes first…”

Fu Huai’an kept one hand on Lin Nuan shoulder.

Fu Huai’an entered the apartment after her. He locked the door behind him as Lin Nuan put the bag and pads on the shelf and changed into her slippers.

The apartment wasn’t spacious to begin with, and once Fu Huai’an came in, it made the place appear even more crowded.

Lin Nuan felt a bit cold and uncomfortable. She told Fu Huai’an she was going to take a shower first.

“Do you have any red sugar at home?” Fu Huai’an suddenly asked.
