It was wrong on so many levels.

But they both didn’t care at the moment.

Selene had been dreaming about this moment since that night, and a part of her could still not believe that her brother — the one who’d ignored her for most of the time they’d grown up and seemed easygoing was the one actually pounding into her mouth with no restraint left.

"Cass—"

"Shut up!" He groaned again, wrecking the walls of her mouth even more.

He’d forced his way in, and she could feel his girth throbbing, getting more and more harder with every thrust and stretching the walls of her mouth. Her eyes bled with tears heavily, and her throat went sore almost immediately.

She gagged and struggled to breathe. Her muscles locked together and her vision gradually began to darken.

But all that only seemed to light up even more arousal from the pit of her stomach, and she took it all like a good girl.

She thought he was going to at least cum before he finally let her go, but just as fast as he’d had her on her knees and her throat begging for mercy, she found herself backed against the tree again.

He’d raised her up, standing on both feet with her legs dangling off his shoulders.

Somewhere between the raging desire and her trying to catch her breath, he’d already slid her dress up all the way to her waist, and her underwear had been ripped off and probably tossed away.

A million sparks flew across her body, colliding somewhere between her eyes and her core. Every nerve in his body shook vehemently, and the overload was so intense she almost passed out.

Instead, she gripped his hair and cried out his name like she’d just been pulled into a forbidden land and never wanted to leave.

His mouth was buried between her legs, and she didn’t even know where to start.

His lips?

Teeth?

Tongue?!

It all felt maddening.

She felt elated and believed she could never come down from here.

He ate her recklessly. His teeth dug into her as hard as his tongue did. He channelled every single moment he’d spent thinking of her into this very moment and slurped her right down his tongue.

She wrapped both legs around his shoulders, one hand clawing through his scalp and the other digging into the bark of the tree.

"Cassian...uhhhhhh, Oh God, please. I can’t...I can’t—"

He didn’t stop.

He never stopped.

No matter how many times she came.

No matter how much she screamed.

No matter how much she begged.

He ate till he’d devoured every last piece of her, till the pit in her stomach had become painfully tight and orgasm now felt like torture she couldn’t handle anymore. Till her supersensitive skin was convulsing and she was a second from crying out tears.

That was when he finally stepped away

When he pulled away from her clit, still holding the severely abused flesh between his teeth and pulling till it was either he cut it off completely, or he let it go.

She couldn’t move.

She wasn’t even sure she was breathing anymore.

Her legs rolled from his shoulders, and they fell back on the floor right before her entire body slumped down to the ground, still shaking like it was never going to stop.

Cassian watched her for a second, then he bent down to meet her there.

Ever so gently, he reached down and took tendrils of hair that had clustered over her drenched face and tucked them behind her ears.

"I preferred not ruining you for any other man, which is why I stopped here,"

Not ruining her for any other man?

She wanted to say something, but her mouth was still a breathless mess. Nothing would come out apart from the insane need to breathe.

"Don’t ever ask for more, Selene,"

And just like last time, he turned around and walked away. She watched as his body disappeared farther into the darkness till she could no longer see him.

Annelise never left her side.

She couldn’t even remember the last time she’d used the bathroom. Maybe two days ago.

She held Della’s bandaged hand softly, afraid to squeeze and break any more of her fingers. Every time she looked up and saw her lying there, she couldn’t stop the outburst that came out.

She could not erase the picture and how she’d felt when she’d seen Della lying there in the middle of the angry mob, soaked in her own blood.

She hated that people only saw the ’what’ and not the ’who’. She hated that someone so innocent had been made to pass through such cold horror all her life. And she hated that most of those horrors came from people that should have stood by her firmly.

Her own sister.

Her former pack.

Her new Pack.

Her...mate.

Those people are people that should never be forgiven for their words and actions.

This was the kind of moment where Annelise wished she wasn’t just a regular wolf. She wished she was an Alpha that had the power to make some kind of change. She would have immediately taken Della into her pack and protected her till her last breath.

"I’m so sorry," Annelise said, trying her best to hold back the tears, but they were already pouring down, "I’m so sorry for leaving you all alone,"

She leaned down and brought Della’s hand to her face, trying to feel whatever trace of warmth her body still carried.

It was here.

But it was so fickle.

"Annelise, right?"

Anne turned around to the slightly ajar door and saw Alpha Cassian standing there. The room was only lit by two candles, and the light didn’t reach the door.

When she first turned, all she’d seen were his silver eyes. And they looked like they could suck you in if you stared for too long.

And cold.

"I was informed no one is allowed to come in without your permission," He said, still standing at the door.

He wasn’t like the others who could have already walked in by now. He might be a Supreme that ruled the second most powerful pack in all of the wolf realms, and the wealthiest pack there has ever been, but there was still something... humble about him.

He didn’t scare people with his aura like others.

If anything, he was always trying to blend in.

But beneath his exterior, he was just as dangerous as the rest of them. That is — if one gets on his wrong side.

"You can come in," She said and stood up, bowing as he walked into the room.

"That’s nonsense. Raise your head and sit back down," He waved a hand in her direction without taking his eyes off the woman lying on the bed.

She watched his claws pull out and retract like he was battling something inside, and muscles kept ticking and ticking in his jaw.

He sat down on a chair on the other side of the bed, then he opened his palm.

A claw grew out of a nail. He reached down to pierce himself and tear his skin open again when Anne stopped him, "No!"
