The "Global Cultivation" channel, hosted by United International, was the official 24/7 news channel that reported on Extraordinary events around the globe. It was also the sole and definitive official platform for broadcasting all major news related to Global Cultivation. With versions in over twenty-six different languages, it was a world channel in the truest sense of the term.

All major news of the Era of Spiritual Qi Revival, from the Citizen Points System to new breakthroughs in cybernetic modifications by the American Federation, was first announced on this channel.

The news concerning the Beast God Realm was broadcast at 9:00 AM sharp, Zhengguo Time.

As the news was broadcast across the globe in many different languages, a world named the Beast God Realm was unveiled to the vast majority of Earth People. It was a world teeming with intelligent life, one that had even developed a primitive Spirit Beast civilization.

The news instantly went viral online. The discovery of an otherworldly civilization, completely different from that of Earth, was arguably the biggest story of the century, second only to the Spiritual Energy Revival itself. The civilization of the Beast God Realm held a special significance, particularly because it was the first one humanity had ever contacted.

"I knew it! Mankind can’t be this alone! If there are intelligent lifeforms in the Otherworld, then there must be some in outer space, right?"

"Not necessarily. But the Beast God Realm... a world made up entirely of Spiritual and Divine Beasts? Something about that sounds a little off..."

"It’s connected to the Kunlun Secret Realm, a world left behind by the Immortal Gods of old? Wait, if you look at it that way, aren’t these lifeforms that were enlightened by the Immortal Gods basically our distant relatives? Tsk. And here I thought it was a genuinely alien civilization..."

However, as more information was released, the initial excitement of many netizens about contacting an otherworldly civilization cooled. After all, just as one user had pointed out, a civilization influenced by the Immortal Gods was, in the end, just a distant relative of Earth Civilization. It was much like the European immigrants who encountered the native civilizations of the New Continent, except this time, Earth Civilization was the one heading to a New World.

Furthermore, since the civilization was composed primarily of Spirit Beasts, some cautious Europeans asked, "Does this Beast God Realm have any connection to the Magical Beasts that poured out of the Slovenia Mountain Range back then?"

Magical Beasts, Spirit Beasts—they were all beasts, the difference essentially boiling down to their names. It was no wonder the Europeans, who had suffered attacks from Magical Beasts before, were so on edge.

Capitalizing on the heated discussion, official channels for the world’s major powers reaffirmed that other Realms and the Otherworld itself could very well be home to intelligent life and entire civilizations different from humanity, much like the Divine Beast civilization of the Beast God Realm.

This declaration also served to slightly curb the worldwide craze for crossing over to other worlds.

When the spacetime fluctuations first began and Realm Gates opened all over the world, many people had complained, wondering why their governments wouldn’t grant them permission to explore the Otherworld—even if it was just to pop over to the other side to see what it was like, or just to do some sightseeing.

Having obtained Extraordinary Power, the public’s ambitions had grown. Ordinary pastimes like hiking and beach vacations could no longer satisfy most people. Driven by curiosity, they naturally wanted to see the landscapes of these Otherworlds for themselves.

But now, through subtle hints and even direct statements from the official news, they all understood why the world’s major powers had sealed the Realm Gates. If an Otherworld contained a civilization on par with, or even superior to, that of Earth, then any ordinary person who wandered over to adventure and got captured would risk exposing vital information about Earth Civilization.

Once the issue was framed as a matter of survival for the world and the entire human race, no one dared to protest further. Even exploring a world like the Beast God Realm, which was less advanced than Earth, had to be done with extreme caution.

However, after learning that Otherworlds could also contain various forms of intelligent life and civilizations, the world’s Mysterious Organizations—especially extreme groups like the Celestial God Descent Association—pounced on the news like sharks that had smelled blood in the water.

’If there are other intelligent beings, then we won’t have to keep using humans for our sacrifices.’

This was not a sign that the upper echelons of the Spirit Summoning Association retained some shred of humanity. Rather, they were keenly aware that under the current circumstances, any attempt to conduct large-scale sacrificial killings on Earth or to ’farm’ Souls would be met with a crackdown dozens of times more severe than before. This was especially true now that the Spiritual Energy Revival allowed for the widespread use of alignment-detecting and even Cause-and-Effect-tracking Magic Techniques, making it extremely difficult for them to hide.

Since operating in secret on Earth had become so difficult, why not take a gamble? They could go directly to an Otherworld and capture Otherworldly People for their blood sacrifices. With that, wouldn’t the sky be the limit?

Most members of the Continuous Prayer Meeting had originally shared this idea. But after their moles were mysteriously rooted out, the entire organization scurried back into the shadows like a startled rabbit. In any case, after taking such a heavy blow, the organization’s focus was no longer in this area.

But the Spirit Summoning Association was different. Because they lacked high-level moles within the official organizations, they were unaware of the true situation in the Beast God Realm. Thus, they remained extremely enthusiastic about finding an opportunity to travel to an Otherworld.

However, they likely never imagined that their very existence was, in itself, a hidden gambit left on the board by the world’s major powers.
