Chapter 1661: Chapter 421: Command Reform and Update Outlook_2
Besides a well-rounded army with no weaknesses and the Evil Eye support comparable to a super intelligent brain... it features command efficiency with no delays.
This issue had once left the Divine King at a loss.
After all, members of the United Battle Group are not his mind readers; coordination can solve many problems related to command efficiency.
But it cannot solve every problem.
On the ever-changing battlefield, understanding new content is needed first, then comes acting according to his command.
Perhaps understanding and acting might be completed in just one second.
But over the course of a war, it undoubtedly wastes a lot of time.
However, the emergence of the Reflection Rule gave the Divine King and commanders of various top guilds hope.
This Life Soul bypasses the understanding step, ensuring 100% comprehension of each command without any possibility of misunderstanding.
It is a perfect combination with Brain Overclocking.
The shortcomings of the Mirroring Soul in command are also quite apparent, limited by the mental capacity of the commander.
Ideas can be mapped, but the command itself finds it hard to devise detailed command logic in a short time, mostly issuing a macro command.
For example: Damage Absorption Team, advance.
It is up to the Damage Absorption Team to execute this command.
It cannot be precise to the positioning route of the Damage Absorption Team individuals, the timing for Life Soul Characteristic connections, the switching of focus targets, etc.
But coupled with Brain Overclocking, macro commands can be executed in more detail.
Although it cannot be as meticulous as Earth Thought Bully, there has already been a leap in command rhythm improvement.
Some sophisticated tactics requiring high coordination, previously hindered by communication efficiency limitations, are now feasible, completely eliminating lengthy orders.
A single thought, and the outline of the entire battle plan becomes clear in the team members’ minds.
As for the high cost of Life Souls, players don’t discuss it much.
The price of the Seventh Generation Soul reaches up to 500,000 sacrificial power, five times higher than the Sixth Generation, making it unaffordable for ordinary players.
Even with the price of the Mirroring Soul at 500 sacrificial power, barely any player is willing to embed and use it.
This Life Soul is meaningless to ordinary players.
It is adapted for large guilds, large warbands, and even a few command layers of united guilds.
And this echelon, as long as it can bring significant improvements in command efficiency, would be willing to pool resources to purchase it even at 500,000 sacrificial power.
Thus, there are few complaints about the price of the Mirroring Soul on forums.
Because those who can’t afford it don’t need it, and those who can aren’t concerned about the 500,000.
At this stage, the Reflection Rule has not yet been officially implemented, and the change in command mode requires a process.
The biggest obstacle is that existing commanders are long used to the macro command model.
For a long time, only directional commands such as attacking or defending at coordinate points were needed.
Specific execution details were left to lower-level commanders and team members to understand and perform.
This model relies on team coordination.
Using reflection command requires commanders to refine their ideas extremely.
They must think through how to attack the coordinate location, which route the main attack squad takes, who acts as a decoy to draw fire, the sequence of skill connections, etc.
Only by clearly constructing this entire complex logical chain can it be efficiently "reflected" out.
The shift in thinking mode brings disruption.
Many veteran commanders feel extremely uncomfortable when initially trying it, as they are not yet accustomed to such meticulous tactical conceptualization, finding it excessively draining.
Some even feel as if they’ve turned from a "General" issuing commands into a nanny needing to handhold members through positioning.
But many top guilds have started learning, believing that the initial discomfort is a necessary path to higher command artistry.
Once they adapt to this refined command thinking and combine it with Brain Overclocking, they can perfectly reproduce sophisticated tactics envisioned, in a flash on the battlefield.
Once the hurdle of reshaping command logic is crossed, a brand-new future that subverts traditional combat systems awaits.
Thus, they all have high expectations for the Mirroring Soul.
The emergence of this rule allows players to understand just how strong Earth Thought Bully’s command mode truly is.
The player faction’s command mode has undergone many iterations.
From impassioned channel shouting, refining command language, shrinking command expressions, to specific tactical symbol expressions in plugins, and now the Mirroring Soul... in terms of enhancing command ability, they are always chasing after the Evil Boss.
Climbing one mountain, solving one problem, only to find the Evil Boss always on a higher level.
The second Special Life Soul is the Third Generation Soul: Diffusion, contained by player "Flower Watering Saint Gardener" in the Illusion Sound Ruins scenario.
The moment Diffusion Soul debuted, forum players voted it into the T1 Level of the edition.
Its trait effect transforms any applied effect into an area influence, completely altering the mode of power release.
This is fundamentally different from Scattered Arrow.
Take Ink Flame, which many players would embed, as an example.
Previously, to turn Ink Flame into a group attack, one could only "cut and split" the fireball using Scattered Arrow. The damage of the source fireball remains unchanged, but the split fireballs retain a certain amount of the source’s damage, exchanging for a broader strike range.
The two together can generate: Meteor Fire Rain.
But this is essentially expanding the damage scope by cutting, rather than achieving true area coverage.
With the "Diffusion" Life Soul, one needs only to normally release an Ink Flame Fireball, and at the point of impact or a designated location, activate the Diffusion Attribute, after which the Ink Flame will create a circle of expanding fire ring from the center, instantly turning the impact point into a sea of flame with continuous combustion.
