Monsters Are Coming

Chapter 1543: Chapter 395: Joy Returns, the Terrifying Battlefield (Part 2)
Facing the situation where they had to contribute the least sacrificial power while dealing the highest damage, scheming against fellow masters of the same class, with the risk of being eliminated if their DPS numbers didn’t make the cut.
But in low-tier matches, they were gods of harvesting.
In terms of area-of-effect power and even farming efficiency, the Magic System was the undisputed king among all factions.
On this kind of battlefield that didn’t need team coordination, they finally turned the tables.
As someone put it in a regional channel: Our Master Mages have stood up!
The low-intensity, high-density battlefields of the Civilization Space brought them their own happy time.
The Demon’s pitiful defensive power was completely meaningless in front of the elemental damage of Magic players, boosted by all sorts of Life Soul traits.
Their dense formations were the perfect targets for area damage.
"Hahahaha, all of you, burn for grandpa!"
A Fire Mage player stood on a slightly elevated dirt slope, swinging a Rune Weapon shaped like a Wolf Fang Club. Vast storms of Ink Flame erupted over and over in the densest parts of the Demon horde, scorching flames devouring everything. In the team plugin, lines of damage numbers poured down like a waterfall, sacrificial power income skyrocketing like crazy.
There were no Space Department troops here to suddenly jump them across Space under the control of some Earth Thought Bully, like in the village-entrance war, to deliver a fatal blow.
They didn’t even need to think about positioning, because there simply weren’t any Monsters that could threaten them.
No worries, nothing but pure爽.
"Attention all, I’m opening a Domain, locals nearby evacuate fast, no compensation for friendly fire."
A Magic player finished speaking, arcs of electricity coiled around him as the Thunder Domain suddenly opened, and Thunderstorm rampaged within its coverage.
He strolled leisurely across the battlefield; wherever he passed, large groups of Demons instantly turned to charcoal, then were frozen into ice sculptures by the Ice Mist Breath trait, and finally dissolved into mist, converting into sacrificial power to be absorbed.
Nearby players all quickly dodged away.
Domain Flow was known as the cancer of group fights, its area damage ignored friend or foe, and taking a hit wasn’t fun.
During this, some Magic players also tried casting the Evil Wind Skill taught by the Life Throat on the battlefield, running live tests on its harvesting potential.
The Magic players on the battlefield were completely immersed in the joy of mowing down Demons.
Watching their Life Soul Level exp bar rise at a speed visible to the naked eye, they wore blissful smiles, feeling this was the proper posture of a Magic God.
Here, area is justice, screen-filling is truth.
Compared to Close Combat Players sprinting all over the map, they just needed to casually pick a spot and stand there to be happy.
The vast battlefield gave them a perfect Output environment.
Their own squishy bodies were no longer a problem; Monsters melted before they could even get close.
This was a pure, brainless, steamrolling harvest high.
Many Magic players were even moved to the verge of tears.
They couldn’t remember how long it had been since they’d freely played the role of a nuking caster like this.
Nor how long it had been since they’d felt this one-man-army, battlefield-dominating vibe.
Thinking back to the last time, it was already a distant memory.
"Brothers, the springtime of the Master Mage has come."
"I hereby declare, the Civilization Space is forever the home of us Magic players, and adventurer dungeons are hereby cast into the Cold Palace."
"Brothers of the Magic Stream, speak louder in the regional channel—we’ve stood up."
The regional channel was filled with triumphant cheers from Magic players finally letting out a long-held breath.
All Magic players felt a爽 of having cast off their shackles.
They had become the undisputed kings of harvesting in this carnival feast.
This unrestrained, do-as-you-please, hyper-present feeling was exactly what countless Magic players had always longed to experience.
The爽 for other players wasn’t as intense as for the Magic players, but they too felt high as hell.
It was like a super amusement park tailored for every player.
Close Combat Players also felt exhilarated.
They no longer had to monitor teammates’ status, nor constantly pay attention to positioning to dodge deadly Skills.
Here, they could completely let loose, throwing out big, sweeping moves, venting the Strength surging inside them without holding back.
They charged into Monster packs, flipped on Musou mode, and watched the Demons around them get cut down like fields of straw.
They wantonly unleashed their inner aesthetics of violence.
Damage Taker players also found new fun.
On this battlefield, they were the best embodiment of the word "invincible."
They became mobile fortresses, using their bodies to forcibly carve paths through seas of Demons, all damage slamming into them, yet their HP regenerated by Energy Absorption outpaced what was lost.
The enemies literally couldn’t break their defense.
The joy of Healing and Support players was a bit unconventional; here, their pressure dropped sharply.
They no longer needed to focus their minds to watch the Damage Takers or other players’ HP bars, nor did they need to time their Binding or Light Shield casts.
Here, they were more like buff-delivery machines, doubling their teammates’ fun.
They could even free up their hands to browse forums, munch Spirit Food, with sacrificial power income being delivered by teammates happily farming away.
Even loners could enjoy that free-roaming, come-and-go-like-the-wind freedom.
Players who liked socializing were naturally thrilled by the crowd, shouting as they steamrolled everything in their path.
Every player could find their own爽 point here.
The entire Civilization Space felt like a richly rewarding theme park.
They rampaged around, acting recklessly, forcibly turning the brutal calamity designed by the Mingshi Clan into their own mowing carnival.
This low-barrier, high-reward, zero-pressure experience had every participating player yelling that it was insanely爽.
