Chapter 1540: Chapter 394: The Advent of the Heavenly Demon, Players’ Frenzy (Part 4)
In just a few seconds, the team of Heavenly Descender warriors, with absolute force, fiercely smashed into the core of the battlefield.
Although the nearby demon warriors had a combat power around Hunting Level 50, the gap with their 70+ Combined Soul Level was considerable.
The 20+ level difference in combat power was enough to make them a dominating force on the battlefield.
"Awesome!" The Undying Mad Blade broke away from the team, launching a charge, and swung his twin swords at high frequency.
"Don’t just stand there, collect the spoils!" Captain Wulong rose from the cracked pit, raised his bone shield, blocking the arrows scattered in flight.
Wind Child heard, showing a helpless expression, but decisively switched Evil Wind to telekinesis, and began to sweep the battlefield for dropped items.
Recovering them remotely.
Weapons and equipment, monster pelts, teeth... anything of value, all tossed into the Space Bag.
Although many low-level materials weren’t worth much, even their fellow countrymen didn’t value them, they could still be offered to Brother Emperor Zhao.
After all, Brother Emperor Zhao accepts everything.
As long as the quantity is sufficiently large, it can still be a decent sacrificial power revenue.
They charged into the wolf pack like tigers, initiating a one-sided dimensional slaughter feast.
Their entry from the high-altitude drop served as the prelude to tearing apart the battlefield.
Wherever they went, devastation followed.
Unlike the instance worlds that had various mechanism challenges, requiring specific tactics to clear.
The battles in the Civilization Space could be described as pure exhilaration.
During this time, squads and even teams of players continuously descended from the sky.
Their arrival was like drops of water into a boiling oil pan, exploding instantly in the vast and brutal bloody battlefield.
Meanwhile, the most shocking sight was the captive "Iron Stone Clan" creatures.
On the city walls, the Iron Stone Clan’s garrison troops, who were originally fighting blood-soaked with despair in their eyes, all fell into a brief daze.
They were tall, with skin resembling a grayish-white granite hue.
Facing the 40-year cyclical natural disaster, facing the demons’ endless ferocious attacks, they had long prepared to fight until the last soldier fell.
However, everything unfolding before their eyes was entirely beyond their comprehension.
What they saw was a group of oddly dressed beings dropping like raindrops from newly formed high-altitude vortexes.
Upon landing, they unleashed a terrifying combat power that left the Iron Stone Clan speechless.
The robust demons that had caused them unbearable pain, requiring the joint efforts of several to barely fend off, were ripped apart like paper in front of these "Heavenly Descenders."
Flames, fierce winds, sharp blades, and pure physical force... various energy forms they couldn’t understand were used with ease by these "Heavenly Descenders," efficiently harvesting demon lives.
Especially those Heavenly Descenders with powerful bodies, who roamed the battlefield as if it were their playground, their physique could easily withstand any form of demon attack.
"Stone... Stone Heart Warrior." A young Iron Stone Clan warrior gaped, stammering as he looked at the scar-covered figure beside him.
He was one of the few super veterans who had survived two cycles of natural disaster.
And the veteran known as the Stone Heart Warrior, witnessed a multitude of blood and fire, his resolute eyes were filled with unprecedented shock.
He stared intently at the Heavenly Descenders, sweeping through the tide of demons, and his throat moved—a tremble in his dry lips, unable to utter a sound.
In his recognition, and throughout all generations of Iron Stone Clan’s history, there had never been such an occurrence.
History proved, they never had allies.
Only generation after generation of clansmen, alone in this despairing world, using their flesh to combat the seemingly endless waves of natural disasters.
So, where did these powerful beings come from? What are they fighting for? What power do they wield?
Countless questions bombarded the minds of all Iron Stone Clan warriors.
But soon, the initial shock transformed into the flame of hope.
No matter who they were, no matter why they came.
They are slaughtering demons, and that’s enough.
The Stone Heart Warrior snapped back to reality, the dormant war blood within him ignited.
He raised his heavily scarred giant axe, using all his strength to issue a battlefield-tearing roar:
"Warriors of the Iron Stone Clan, we are not fighting alone, join me in breaking through the high walls, aiding our Heavenly Descender allies, for the Iron Stone Clan! For survival! Crush the demon bastards!"
"Roar!"
The Iron Stone Clan warriors guarding the high walls erupted with an earth-shattering roar, turning their suppressed despair into surging war intent.
They followed the Stone Heart Warrior, like a gray wave, leaping off the towering walls and fiercely charging into the chaotic battlefield beyond.
Rushing towards the nearest "Heavenly Descender" combat zone.
The Stone Heart Warrior led the charge, his giant axe swinging and cleaving two blocking demons into quarters, attempting to fight alongside the Heavenly Descenders.
"Heavenly Descender warriors, the Iron Stone Clan fights beside you." The Stone Heart Warrior gave a call of goodwill, his massive body trying to approach, shielding a Heavenly Descender from side demon attacks.
But in the next moment, an unexpected scene occurred for the Stone Heart Warrior and other Iron Stone Clan warriors.
The Heavenly Descender seemed not to hear his shout or perhaps didn’t care.
As the Stone Heart Warrior approached, a pair of eyes burning with war intent and a desire for slaughter suddenly turned back.
The cold gaze scanned Stone Heart’s massive form, without a trace of hesitation, nor any intention of communication.
