Chapter 4508: Eight Months

Chapter 4508: Eight Months

I had just begun the practice when my eyes lit up.

’Limit!’ I thought. I had reached the limit in talaras constitution. It had happened sooner than I had thought.

I thought it would take at least a year and even a year and a half, but it had happened in just eight months. It seemed like new formulas were working better than I had thought.

The limit made me happy, but I controlled my emotions and focused on practice.

I need to finish the session to practice to reach the limit.

Slowly, I moved my breath, heartbeat, and energy in synch. Bearing the pain, I had not gotten used to it despite years of practicing.

I may not have gotten used to it, but I could bear it, and that is what matters the most.

Seconds passed after another and turned into minutes. Before I knew it, fifty-two minutes had passed, and I finished the last session of the method for this level.

I am extremely tired and carefully lie down, before closing my eyes.

I would have whopped and celebrated, but I have no energy for that. So, I simply let go as I do every day and instantly fell asleep.

When I woke up, it was dawn and I was full of energy, like I am every day. All the dead tiredness of the night had simply disappeared.

"Talaras has reached the limit and now only ukasanavor has remained," I said to myself, and a big smile appeared on my face.

It won’t take me long to reach the limit with it—three to four months at most.

Once that is done, only the inheritance would remain.

I stayed on the bed for a minute before stepping out of it and walking into the shower. Forty minutes later, I was out of my room and into the kitchen.

I sat down, and a breakfast box appeared. It is a fresh breakfast that looks like a boxed breakfast.

A moment later, a white spirit bottle appeared. Inside, it is shiny specks of blood red.

I poured a single sip of it and drank. Immediately, I felt the burn, and my world turned red. I closed my eyes. They remained close for nearly ten minutes before I opened them.

The colorless liquid with red specks is a spirit I had crafted from the dregs.

I usually do not drink this early or this wastefully. Seeing every drop of that spirit is precious, and I drank it carefully, but I wanted to do something to celebrate.

I finished the delicious breakfast, but I wish I could cook openly.

After washing the dishes, I lay on the sofa and entered my core.

Things have changed here over the past couple of months; the new plants I planted are growing well. Some had even started producing the resources.

The collection in repository is growing daily as I continue to harvest more resources.

I looked for a moment before I walked into the underground and soon stood in front of the barrel. It is not a massive barrel as I used to have, but a small one.

I didn’t have enough grapes to craft a big barrel of wine. The barrel is even slightly smaller than the standard barrel.

The standard barrel could produce around three hundred bottles of wine. This one will produce around one fifty to two hundred bottles of wine.

I am not sure about the exact number, because even after years inside the core, it is not finished.

No, it is not turning into nectar; I am sure of it. It is absorbing the energy, but not the massive amount that I am used to.

Though it is not the correct indication, the grapes I used were filled with energy and laws; they might not need the outside energy.

There are other factors as well, and all of them are pointing toward it not turning into nectar.

It is still not finished.

Looking at the barrel, one might see everything is good, but far from it. The barrel is crafted from the wood I had taken from the descendant world tree in the marsh.

It is extremely strong, making it tough to destroy.

Inside the barrel, a clash is happening every second between the energies and laws.

I want the clash as I want to replicate the power of the fruits, but not this kind. I like the clash to happen, after one drink, not before.

If someone is able to drink it in its current state, they will not survive it.

I don’t know how long this process will continue or even succeed, but I am keeping an eye on it and have even made all sorts of preparations.

Around the barrel, there are thousands of types of crystals, including the crystals of the forbidden power.

The barrel isn’t absorbing even an ounce of energy from them. The only energy it absorbs is from the surrounding environment, and it has remained unchanged for years.

I looked at the graph floating beside it, and there was no change initially.

I might be prepared for the disappointment, but I want this to succeed. Those grapes were precious, while I crafted spirits from the dregs, the juice had the real essence.

The spirits had come out very well, so I am thinking of crafting another batch with different resources.

I have high hopes for this.

I took one last look before walking out of the underground.

I stayed there for a few minutes before walking out of the underground. I didn’t immediately walk toward the library and instead appeared beside the plant.

I looked at its progress; it is still slow, but steady.

I tried to do things to make it faster, but that’s not happening. Though one thing is sure, significant changes are happening in the plant than I had expected.

I looked at my newest attempt to speed up the progress, but it is the same.

The other plants would have shown the improvement, but it didn’t. Still, I will keep trying; this plant will be with me for a long time.

So, it would be great if I were able to find a way to make it improve faster.
