Chapter 4493: Offer

Thud Thud!

We landed on the hidden spot, and I was about to summon my abode when I found the woman looking at me.

"My organisation borders the sea and has one of the gentle spatial streams. I would be honoured if you travel with me there," she said.

Her offer surprised me. It is where we would part ways.

"It would be a much smoother travel compared to you going solo," she added after a moment of silence.

It is a surprising yet enticing offer, and she is right about it. The travel would be much smoother with her; she will be effectively able to deal with any threat that comes against us.

Her organisation is also very powerful. There are very few people who want to mess with them.

"Sure," I replied and took out my abode before walking inside it.

I appeared in my bedroom. As I did, armor disappeared from my body, and I slumped on the bed. I am exhausted. So, I am not thinking about eating, even when I am hungry.

The defence against the monsters has taken a lot out of me. Then there was a battle and travel through the stealth.

Many times throughout the hours, I just wanted to stop and fall down, but I kept going until I reached here, and now I can’t stand even a minute longer.

I was so tired that I fell asleep instantly.

When I woke up, it was evening. I looked at the clock and saw that I had slept for thirteen hours straight.

It didn’t surprise me, given how tired I was.

I am now feeling very good, ready to fight a battle. If any enemy came against me. I am in my abode; no enemy will come. Even the woman won’t be able to sneak up on me without me knowing.

I quickly freshened up and walked out of my room. I usually showered as well, but I am feeling famished.

I walked into the kitchen and sat down. A moment later, a dinner appeared in front of me.

Knowing me, my clone had begun cooking a few minutes before I even woke up. I am glad, because I don’t think I would have been able to cook through this hunger.

The dinner is simple, and I ate slowly. I felt lonely, and it is bad; even after so long, I have not gotten used to it.

I finished the dinner and cleaned the dishes before walking into my core.

I appeared in the repository and saw all the new things around me. There are a lot of things, all of which belong to Tamar.

It is here temporarily, so I could see it. After I am done, it will be transferred to their respective sections.

I could see weapons, artifacts, and tools that would be useful to me and the books. He seemed to be a collector of sorts, as there are a lot of them.

Usually, only the masters of celestial inheritances have books, but his was not a celestial inheritance.

Whatever the reason, I am thrilled that he collected books. Some of it had already been taken by the library, and a few had made me very excited.

Though the thing that made me most excited is the resources.

He claimed, he is killing me for the resources, but far from it. He has a massive number of resources. He was just a greedy bastard who wanted more.

Every type of resource is here, from herbal to metallic—Filed with the power of laws.

It even includes resources on the law of swallowing. It is the laws that I have found to have so few resources available. I don’t know where he had seen them, but I am glad.

It’s going to help me tremendously in advancing my laws.

I looked at each resource, including a pretty good collection of seeds. Many of which my clones were able to recognise and will plant.

Seeing them made me happy, but also confused.

Why would a person who has so many resources take a risk? I understood the greed, but it still baffles me.

I pushed those thoughts away and looked at the rest of the things. Once I am finished, I get out of the repository and appear beside my clone.

It is by studying the data that I collected in the place, specifically the dates of the monsters, people, and the place itself.

It is very valuable for my inheritance, as well as for stealth and many other things.

I studied it for an hour before walking toward the library, while looking at my vibrant core. I have more than enough resources; I am not going to kill people for it.

Though if someone made the same mistake as Tamar. Then, I will gracefully accept all the resources that they are giving to me.

I reached the library and walked inside.

I looked at my inheritance but didn’t walk toward it. Instead, I walked toward the carpet and sat down.

I am going to comprehend the laws. There are a lot of unrealised gains that I want to get.

So, I closed my eyes and took several deep breaths to calm my mind before focusing on the constitution.

Soon, I was lost in the laws of healing. Comprehending it.

It was my strongest law in my world. There, I didn’t need to hide who I am. I practiced my profession openly, and looking at things, I will have to do it again if I want to take the law to the peak.

About an hour later, I opened my eyes. I am tired, but there is a smile on my face.

The gains are better than I thought. Even if I got even half of it every day, then it wouldn’t take three months for my law of healing to reach the peak.

I stayed there for a few minutes before getting up and walking toward my table.

I have comprehended the law. Now, it’s time to work on inheritance, and I’m excited about it, as it’s been a few days since I last did that.
