Chapter 4474: Compensation

Our weapons clashed, and the person became visible.

He is clad in a black and red suit with a mast and a cloak covering his head. Even his hands aren’t visible; they are covered in gloves.

The man didn’t want his identity found out and took every precaution.

"I was wondering when you would attack," I said with a big smile. "You knew?" he asked, in a voice that feels neither feminine nor masculine.

The suit is the same. It makes it hard to distinguish the gender and race, but I didn’t have a problem. I think, I even know, who the man is.

"Of course, I know. From the moment you entered my range two and a half days ago," I replied.

Those in the camp weren’t the only people who entered. There are more that were hiding. There is also another camp on the other side of the curtain.

Many powerful Primes have come here. Its why I had been so careful.

This man had been following me since I entered here. I let him follow me; the deeper we go, the less chance there is of others sensing our battle.

Though there are monsters, I would prefer them over the people. Because in front of them, my secret would remain safe.

"It seemed like you are better than your information says," he said. "Oh, I am much better," I replied, once more smiling brightly.

"It didn’t matter. Give me the resource and everything you have, or you will find your journey being cut here," he threatened. Looking at the beet in my hand.

I could feel him shaking. It had made him angry, but he didn’t attack immediately.

"Do you really want to die, Prime Arys?" he asked. "No, absolutely not. I have a long life to live and so many things to do," I replied in all seriousness.

This once more made the man even angrier, but once more, I have to give it to his self-control.

He didn’t say anything, but I could feel his calculating eyes on me. Earlier, he was sure he could beat me, but now he is having doubts.

"Since you want to die so badly. Prime Arys, I will fulfill your wish," he said finally and attacked me with his green sword, with the law of meal covering it.

The man had taken me seriously. Using the laws from the beginning.

I swung my sword, using the power of burst. This man is powerful, unlike many other Primes I have come across.

Though there is one slight confusion in my mind, whether he is a cultist or just Prime disguising his identity, so that he could loot some people.

Its more common than one actually thinks.

Even Primes require resources; such methods give them a quick way to gather them. I don’t know what he is, but his fate will depend on the answer.

Our weapons clashed, and a man shook a little, but despite that, he attacked almost instantly.

I turned smoothly and once more defended the attack. "If you want to kill me, you will use real power," I said, making him even angrier.

He is already using quite a lot of his power, about 60%-70%.

He attacked again, his attack stronger than before, but not overly so. He is not giving in to my taunts and is taking things slowly and deliberately.

"You have wasted my time and even wanted to loot me and injure me."

"I hope you will provide me compensation, and it should be good, or I won’t mind taking it all," I said to the man, leaning a little closer to him.

I must look menacing, because the man shuddered before nodding.
