Chapter 4433: Abruptly

Thirteen big monsters appeared.

All of them were infected with pus flowing down their bodies, but they are also very powerful; three seemed barely weaker than it.

These monsters came out of the dimension of itornas. It’s something similar to core space, but only the infected could stay there.

He grinned, seeing my expression turning ugly. It is really bad news for me.

I cannot fight them and it at the same time. I need to focus only on it, but the monsters needed to be dealt with as well, or I could forget defeating them.

"Ready to give up now?" it asked with a grin on its face widening.

"I would have, if you had brought a couple of hosts like you. These not so much," I replied with a smile, but anger blazed in its grin.

"I want to see if you will say the same thing when they start to tear you apart," it said.

"Attack!" it commanded.

The monsters came at me roaring; it shook my heart. There are over ten of them, and dealing with them would be difficult. Especially, it was watching.

’I hope it works,’ I thought, and a moment later, shock appeared in the eyes of the host as a massive plant with a large mouth and ten wine branches appeared.

Its one ugly plant, but seeing it. The eyes of the host turned serious.

Monsters don’t eat them. They attack them and burn them to death, because of infection. Plants didn’t have that fear as it didn’t infect them.

Still, it’s not a common plant; it could get infected, but right now, I don’t have any time to worry about it.

I need to finish, and I’ve moved to do that.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!

It defended, but I attacked again and again; it kept defending.

It’s hard to land a hit on it. It reacts too fast. If it were another enemy as powerful as it, I might have been able to land a hit by now, but not this one.

I am not fighting a single person. No, I am fighting two beings. The host and master are both fighting against me.

CLANNNNG!

It got a chance to attack me, and it took it. I defended before attacking again.

We are fighting fast, very fast. Never staying in one place for more than a fraction of a second, before disappearing and appearing in a different place.

It is different for plants, but it has a high reach. Its reach is far enough that it is stopping the monsters that are sneakily trying to come toward me.

The plant is more powerful than before, and its wines are reacting faster.

Years in the core had made it stronger, and fighting the bees had made it faster. It needs to be fast, or it could not capture them.

I am glad that it is keeping the monsters busy, because I am very close.

CLANNNNG CLANNNNG CLANNNNG!

Our weapons kept clashing hard with the attacker, releasing the shockwaves that are razing the forest around us.

It had attracted a lot of attention. I could see that more monsters are gathering by the minute. Right now, only the weak ones are watching.

The ones that are weaker than us, but soon, the strong will be attracted.

If my plan didn’t work, I would wait for the monster, but it would complicate things. It is also not idiotic; if he sensed a powerful monster, he would run away.

Another minute passed, and we kept swinging weapons at each other when I saw the chance.

I took it, but the next moment I realised something. I will not be able to make the hit without getting hit myself. That will be extremely dangerous.

It will be safe if I bring back my sword now, but I didn’t do that.

I moved it forward, pouring even more power into the attack. I need it fast and strong, and I pushed everything I had in my attack.

Two ripping sounds rang out. My sword cut through its stomach, bringing a red cut, while its sabre did the same across my chest.

"You are finished," it said with a large grin appearing on its face. I could see the joy in the large pink eye as well.

"I had a large amount of your energy in you. It will not spread slowly, till you become a part of great itornas," it added with a big smile.

"Am I?" I replied, and a large cut on my chest closed in front of its eyes.

It shocked him.

Of course, I am not going to let it cut me. I am not an idiot. I was planning on bringing my sword back, but my clone told me that I could avoid it with some tricky formation, and I did.

Still, it was a big risk, but it was worth it as I got the data I needed.

My clones have already started changing the forging. It would only take them a second to deal with it.

It remained in its place for a while before rage appeared in its eyes.

"You bastard!" it roared and came at me, but suddenly a confusion appeared in its eyes and turned into deep shock as it abruptly slowed down.
