Chapter 3886 Destination
Chapter 3886 Destination
"Habresal,"
I muttered as the ship docked into Habresak; one of the coastal gems of the eonsil continent.
After the long journey of over one and a half years through the dangerous sea, we had reached it. I wanted to jump off the balcony, even the protective layer wouldn't be able to stop me.
I controlled myself; there was no need to be hasty when I could get out within a few minutes.
I have finished all my business on the ship. I had met with all the friends and colleagues; I had made on ship and traded information and things.
There is nothing left to do here other than leave.
"Ladies and gentlemen. Thank you for traveling to Oti's Grand; we hope you had a pleasant experience and travel with us again," said the captain.
Click!
A minute later, I saw people disembarking the ship. I walked out of my suite, after looking at it one more time; I had cleaned it thoroughly of any biological and aura samples.
I didn't go for the exit, instead, I went to one restaurant and saw the people, I had to meet.
"Carlos," greeted. "Ven," I said and nodded at Sarena and Klea, before sitting on the empty.
"It was a journey to be remembered. Thank you for all the help, you have provided us, Carlos," said Sarena.
"You would have done the same," I replied.
"I hope, we will meet again," said Ven and I smiled. "We most certainly would," I replied, and they nodded.
I liked them and not because of the data, I had provided. They are nice people and I hope they haven't been what they are; it will be a dangerous life till they die.
I sighed internally and brought out the reason for the meeting.
A small wooden box appeared in my hand, and I slid it toward the young girl. I liked the young girl; she reminded me of my sister.
So, I crafted something for her personally; it took quite an effort and days of study, but I was able to do it.
"What is it?" she asked.
"Something that will help you," I replied, and the eyes of two older lit up. They turned misty a moment later, as they understood what could be there. It would save the young girl's life if she suffered the same thing as her brother.
"I hope, you all have a safe journey toward your destination and good luck," I said and got up before walking away.
I am not good at the goodbyes, but I waved last time, and they waved back.
Hun!
Soon, I was at the exit when I suddenly stopped and turned. "Captain," I greeted the man who stopped in front of me.
"Carlos, thank you. Without you, surviving the suppressive zone would have been difficult," he said. "Thank you for the kind words, Captain," I replied, and the man smiled before taking a white crystal card.
"I travel through this route. If you ever come to the city and I am here, meet me," he said.
"Definitely, Captain," I said.
A minute later, I was out of the ship and in the sunny sunshine of the Habresal. It is a beautiful city, as big as the Veraz and just as prosperous with Prime as its lord.
It also didn't have the best relationship with the Tor. So, I will have to get out of its territory before contacting the organization.
That will take me three days. It is a boundary city; the neighboring organization is also Prime and that one has a much better relationship with Tor.
Though, I am not leaving today. I have a few things, I have to do in the city, before leaving it.
"Friend, do you have things to sell? Our consortium will pay a good price for the goods you have brought from the other confinement," said a young, handsome man.
"Not interested," I replied and faintly released the aura of Sky Sovereign as the warning.
He understood and walked away, toward another person.
I had kept the aura active and kept it hostile level. It immediately stopped. Many people trying to come.
I have no interest in selling anything I have and what I want to sell; I didn't want to sell in such settings.
I have brought a lot of things on this journey. Not only for me, but also for the organization. I am going to mix, my stuff into it.
There are things I want from the organization. It is filthy rich with the resources that will make even someone like salivate. It isn't surprising to see it as a Prime Organization.
A trash of prime is a treasure for anyone below them.
I didn't book the hotel immediately, instead explored the beautiful city. It is a trading hub, things from all over the world come here and there are few things I wanted to buy.
Some of these things are expensive in the organization. Seeing the few months, I won't be able to get out of the organization, I wanted to buy them.
Soon it was the evening, and I walked into a small restaurant. I ordered and waited for my order to arrive.
I felt alone seeing the people sitting with friends and families. I wanted to do that too and a few friends I had made on the ship had even invited me, but I politely declined their invitation.
I am cautious. No, that wouldn't be the right word.
The right word would be fearful, not of the danger, but the emotional connection I might make with people. So, I always maintain a distance from them.
I used to do that in my native world, but it has become bigger here.
Since I came here, I haven't made a single friend like Jim. I maintain a distance, even with people in my organization. Some I very much like.
There are always excuses, the biggest one being the forbidden power.
If I found out, their life would also be in danger, and I don't want to happen and thus maintain the distance.
I plan to try better. It is no life without meaningful connections, and I deserve to have some.
