Chapter 3868 Dire

Puch Puch Puch!

My string arms moved around me. Killing any monster, that came at me, there are a lot of them, really a lot.

It had been only a minute since I stepped out of the ship, but I had already killed over five monsters. I would have killed more, if I went further head.

Everybody is thinking the same as I had. Even the most powerful Sky Sovereign is staying close. The numbers are really huge and nobody wants to take a risk, going too far into the monsters.

A few seconds passed, and another huge wave came, and in the wave were the monsters.

My sword finally appeared in my hand. Enough physical strength had returned that I could now use the sword.

Puch Clang Puch!

The waves crashed against me, and sword and string hands moved. I killed most monsters that I had attacked, but some defended.

Hun!

I was about to attack them when suddenly I sensed something really powerful coming toward me.

Bang!

The hot stream of water crashed into the shield, sending the ripples across it. These ripples were as powerful as the strong Grimms, I had fought; it had instantly made me serious, and I turned to the monster.

The monster is a water name, huge, over ten meters long, with aqua crystal fangs and a blue crystal ball over its head.

Roar!

It roared and attacked again with the water jet. It was the attack of hot condensed water; the water was hotter than the lave and even with my armor; I didn't have complete confidence in defense against it.

Bang Bang!

I used my shield, before using another, to defend against the powerful tail attack.

'Fuck, it is fast!' I cursed.

It is really fast. It had a considerable distance between it and me when it attacked, but it moved quickly, with a speed that I couldn't track, and attacked me with its tail.

"Bastard, you are powerful, but you are thinking too much of yourself. If you think, you could kill me!" I said.

ROARRR!

It seemed to understand the emotions behind it as it roared loudly with the challenge, before opening its mouth.

Sup Sup Sup!

It begins to release condensed water and this time, the steam is smaller, but it raises all the hair on my body.

Those streams may be thinner and smaller, but they have more water than the attack earlier. They are also extremely hot. If they hit me, then I could, then I would be turning into a cloud of bloody mist.

The attack won't be creating the hole through my body. Through the ship, perhaps; the body, on the other hand, won't survive for the hope.

The small streams crashed against my shield hard, shaking me. Forcing me to take a step back.

As I did, another monster came from behind and I slayed it with my sword.

It saw it and moved, appearing in the place, the monster had been, but unlike the monster. It didn't come close to me, instead it had crashed into the shield.

There is no way, I would let this powerful bastard come too close to it.

It is extremely powerful. If I am not wrong, might be a descendant of some powerful monster. It is at Initial Sky-

Sovereign, but its power is strong enough to easily kill the average Peak Sky-Sovereign.

Even I am not its match without my shield.

Amazingly, I have my shields, or I would be bloody mist by now, but still, I have to be careful. The shields didn't cover my all sides, and it was fast enough to slip through the defenses if it knew where to go.

So, I didn't take any more risk and a moment later sphere appeared around me.

The sphere will protect me from all sides; I will also be able to move the shields much faster through it.

Seeing it appear, I felt more relieved.

It might make it seem like, I am giving up on the battle too quickly by hiding like a turtle, but I am not.

The monster is too strong; I have to be careful with my life.

ROARRR!

It roared angrily and attacked with every powerful water attack, aside from attacking the shields with its tail.

I moved the shields around, effectively defending against its attack.

After the battle with the Grimms, I studied this move deeply and even made a few small changes. That increased the speed of shields inside by 19%.

It seemed like a small number, but it was not.

The shields are really fast, that I am defending against attacks from monsters coming from all sides.

The bastard is smarter than the average monster. It is employing strategies to break my defense. Well, it is not the only one; I am doing the same.

It roared angrily again and attacked. I moved my shields to defend, making it even angrier, seeing I had once again defended against its attack.

I gave it a grin, which once again made it attack me angrily. I don't care.

I sneaked a glance at the others, and they were fighting hard. Though the battle is tough, the sheer number of monsters makes dealing with them tough.

The last battle wasn't this tough; we had the advantage the moment we entered the battle. This time, it isn't the care; here we are clearly at a disadvantage.

Another minute passed, and a smile appeared on my face. I have caught it; I had used the strings of my armor.

ROARRRRRR!

'Now, it is time to finish it off!' I said and was about to pull the strings when the massive roar rang. That shook my very soul.

With the roar, the powerful aura; it is enough to crush through my shields and others and if not for Prime acting on time, diffusing its aura with his own aura.

The consequences would have been dire.
