Chapter 901 Betrayal
“After I kill the Second Consort, is it?” I repeated and then chuckled, ” Challenge accepted.”
I gave zero shits that I was to see Aether’s king after killing some whore. It made no difference. Because of the simple fact, the information I have regarding what I believe Zantar and Balor plan will probably save most of his people.
Based on how a majority of people I’ve seen throughout my life, I think he’ll be angry if not a little hateful, but there should not be any deal breakers. He’s the king of Aether; if something so simple makes him lose focus, he wasn’t meant to be king.
Valice was taken back for a moment, and I did nothing to amend her curiosity. There are many things that I needed to focus on, one mainly being the council schematics. And then there’s getting into contact with Genisis.
“We shall see Mr. Blackwater.” Valice loomed over me with an increasingly dark expression and crossed her arms over her chest as if to hide from her somewhat revealing dress that looked like it would fall apart at any moment.
“You should head inside, ‘ i decided to say, enjoying the feast of curves as she stood under first light, cheeks a light pink, eyes a gentle black that pooled with each passing moment I saw her, heightening the mystery around her. Her sublime jaw was a little tight, probably due to irritation on my part, but I could not deny there was something almost defining about Valice Black this morning.
“You’re staring, Mr. Blackwater,”
“Only wondering what Zanta might think when he sees his mother like this.” I teased, watching the pink glow shift to a ghastly pale; she rushed inside as if to hide her shameful appearance.
People are weird. Truly. Is a child’s innocence so important? Most creatures are born with an innate ability to understand the mechanics of sex, so it’s only a matter of time before Zanta engages in such activity.
Shaking my head over these irrelevant things, I sighed, allowing my mind to dip into the far reaches of my Soul Flame to last night, to Black Sabbath.
Despite everything I had seen before, the grace in which Mephisto moved and struck with his spear reminded me of the day I acquired the Flames of Hellfire. It had all felt too surreal to monstrous.
Blood trickled from my nose once more as I began to analyze the memory, forcing me to stop after only two minutes.
I had a marvelous start to Black Sabbath with my Devils Heart ability, but I needed to battle a few Gods to develop such a technique.
Wiping the blood ebbing from my nose, I arched my palms behind my back, ready to leave, when a faint distortion of space near me caught my attention. But not just mine but rather many guards upon the gates that led to House Black.
Bows lined with Arrows formed from the purest divinity became knocked as they pointed beside me, ready to seize life at any moment.
And yet, as the distortion field began to diminish over time, I saw my silver hair goddess step out with her shining amethyst eyes while holding a bowl and spoon.
Cereal?
Liliths like Cereal? Now that I think of it, when was the last time I had Cereal and Milk?
I stopped making that shit when I learned how to cook.
And yet, as she lifted her spoon from her bowl, what I saw made my brow tighten,’ Is that… Avocado?”
“Emm,” She responded, ” Avocado, and Takoyaki to be exact.” She said, kissing the side of my cheek before heading back to her bowl.
It had taken longer than I’d like to respond, as I’ve heard of Takoyaki before but just couldn’t remember at least till I did.
My arms went from trembling to shivering while my cheeks turned from ash to green. “You-You-You, gave my c-h-i-l-d-r-e-n octopus? My baby girl! Fish. You gave my baby girl FISH!!!!!” FUCK!!!! FUCK YOU!”
“Arsene!”
“Sorry, no fuck no! FISH! Damn you, woman! I call betrayal. BETRAYAL!!!!! You are poisoning my baby girl!”
“It could be a boy! You know”
“Fuck the boy! My baby girl is forever unclean! Tainted by my Wife. Fouled by the most disgusting substance the world has created. How will I ever love her?”
Fish! Fish of all things! Curse this woman!
Falling to my knees, I stared at her stomach as tears overflowed from my eyes,” Sorry, guys. Daddy is going out to get some milk. I’ll be back in ten minutes. Just ten! Promise!”
“You’re an idiot!” She said, munching down upon that bowl of shit.
“Betrayal!”
“Sene!~” Wined Lilith, rolling her eyes.
“You said you didn’t like fish! You said you hated it!”
“Well. Maybe that’s a stretch,” She cutely said, “I just had an urge. A few seconds ago, I made oysters, topped with some cookies for crunch, seasoned with cilantro, thyme, and a glaze of melted marshmallows! Hmmm, that was good!”
“UGRAAA~”
I vomited on the ground. It couldn’t be helped!
Dazed by this sudden betrayal of the highest order, I staggered to my feet, ” I’m going to get some milk.”
“I’ve been having cravings!” She poorly explained, glaring at me as though I was in the wrong.
But she’s the one who ate seafood! Is that not the same as shooting up heroin? FUCK! How could she! .
Wiping the lingering bits of vomit off my lips, I staggered back, hoping for a quick end to my life. I’ve never been sick before, not in this lifetime at least, but dear god.
My head was spinning. My heart was hammering, and my soul was bleeding.
Lilith sighed, sending the bowl of the most unspeakable back into the void, and placed her hands on her waist, eyeing me with pursed lips,” You’re being ridiculous!”
“Silence, wench! Your betrayal has crossed a line!” I bellowed, snapping my palm through the air, “Send me to the gallows, for this will not stand! Upon my death, you will send my remains into the Pyres of Hell to help cleanse this cheek you’ve sullied. As for my soul, it shall enter the wheel of reincarnation for further healing! You’ve killed me, my love!”
