Chapter 796 Lilith Snow - Zero
Hovering from the skies at the Kingdom of Iliya, as the night took over the light, I saw a grand mobilization take place before my eyes. An Army meant to shatter the forces of the Hells and Heavens. However, such a thing was not going to happen. Ultimately, everyone in this world is to die at the hands of these greedy men.
In this past half a cycle, I have seen cities, villages, and towns torn to shreds by the idea that the Abyssal Fiends were hiding something. While this wasn’t wrong, it was quite a sight to see.
And as a matriarchy, the end for most of these women who fought back and tried to escape did not have a clean death. Especially when the demons or devils were involved, it was easy for me to forget what kinds of people they were, as I knew Sene wouldn’t have ever done such a thing, but overseeing all that had taken place, even my cold heart was tawing. I had done all of this. I had tricked everyone from the Fourth Heaven into playing into their greed.
Touching my stomach a the budding life, I felt a sudden kick jerk my thoughts away and smile, “Are you hungry?”
“Should we prepare a meal for the little one?” Izavith inquired, appearing like an apparition, bowing her head.
“No. I’ll munch on a snack or something. Have the Generals been gathered and informed of the current situation?” I asked, thinking of the Throne of Blood and Ash.
Izavith had said it might not be a throne but something more. It truly made me wonder what could be at the end of the road.
“I have, and—” She paused, drawing my attention to her hesitant appearance.
“And what?”
“Zero is here; He wishes a word.”
I froze, and my jaw opened, ” Really! As in the Zero from the Order of Chaos? One of Arsene’s brothers?”
Izavith nodded, ” He’s currently enjoying some tea with Lorian.”
“Lala is here too!”
I joyously asked, thinking of my cutest General! Just like Arkanos, she was tiny and a little childish.
“Shall we then?” I informed, and in a blink of an eye, we vanished, appearing in the same room I last saw Arsene. A little reminiscent of that dummy, a bitter smile slipped over my lips.
“They say a baby girl will steal the mother’s beauty in the womb. Do you think that might be true?” A soft crass voice etched, drawing my attention to a masked man with the number zero etched into his mask.
“Your Zero, correct?” I asked, looking around for Lala and ignoring that rather rude comment.
I’m still cute, right?
Rising to his feet, draped in an elegant tailcoat that fitted his mid-size physique, I felt an intimidating aura ripple off his body like a flood, wishing to steal the air from my lungs.
“The obvious is not needed to be stated. I am Zero,” He greeted with an elegant bow, ” An honor to finally meet Arsene’s wife. I never thought I’d see that day. Not ever.”
“Surely he wasn’t that bad,” I joked.
“He once had intercourse with a planet of woman. His plan, and I quote,’ to fuck through seven billion in order to show that bastard Vancurro that I get more bitches than him.’ And so he waisted fifty years doing just that.”
“Fucking slut,” I muttered.
“Like you don’t wish such a life if you had a son.” He fired off, and I became lost for words. I almost nodded my head before catching myself.
Clearing my throat, I shook my head, ” I would never want such a life for my child.”
“Try sounding more convincing next time.” He amusingly said. “Anyway, VI and I have devised a plan for both your child and his against the forces working against us. That being the Hells, heavens, and— Well, let’s say those that lie in-between.”
I frowned, wondering what he wasn’t telling me. “So, what is it?”
“We can’t tell you.” He said, and my brow creased.
“Then why are you here?” I coldly asked.
“To get a drop of blood from you and Arsene. One from your heart is best,” he said, and my brow arched.
“You could do a lot with a drop of blood,” Izavith added, stepping to my side. “I don’t see why you can’t tell us your plan?”
“Because you are not at the peak of your power. In a few days, Arsene will wake up and meet Lucifer Morningstar. Who is by no means an ally or an enemy?” He revealed, and I glanced at Izavith, who nodded, indicating she knew about this. “I can’t take the risk of Lucifer finding out about the Throne of Blood and Ash, nor can I take the risk of you revealing anything in your hormonal state.”
“T-That’s sexist.”
“What of it? Do you see the mask giving any fucks?”
“Your kind of a dick, you know that.”
“Everyone in the Order are dicks,” He responded as a matter of fact.
I grumbled and nodded, ” I’d agree to your terms Zero, but you must wait till the child is born.”
“That is acceptable; I’ll prepare everything else in advance. Also, Izavith, I will need your blood, as well. And to know if you have been gathering the tools to forge the child a weapon. ”
“I have,” She said, a little indifferent at the prospect of someone using her blood.
“Good. Then I’ll give you blueprints to make the child a bloodline weapon code-named: Laevatein.”
I slowly began to frown, “Why does it seem like we are about to be on the run?”
“The Myriad Heavens have stringent rules for higher beings when having children. It’s so strict that every higher being fights against Zariel and the Council. Many don’t like the idea of their child having to live through billions of Chaos Cycles just to hope they might one day break the scales of being a mortal and rise into Godhood.”
“My child is leaving my care, isn’t it.” I began to say, but Zero merely laughed.
“Zariel did promise, didn’t he? Then I’ll promise as well. Your child will only leave your hand for one second, and it will be from Zariels hands to—” He pushed forward and stared down at my stomach and squatted. .
“I can’t tell. What are you having? Its arms, legs, and even head are formed, but I can’t tell what it is.”
“Some Anscestrial Elfs are like that. Their genders are only revealed on the day of their birth. But in this case, the Abyss itself is protecting the child. She is also feeding it power for some strange reason.”
Zero turned his mask to Izavith, ” Does that mean Lilith herself can’t support the child, power?”
“It does.” She answered, and I felt kind of embarrassed as my cheeks heated up.
“I’ll bring some resources to help deliver the child and ensure the mother doesn’t die. Till we meet again.”
“Wait, were not—” Vanishing before I continue, Zero was gone. “Done.”
“Son of a bitch, he is an asshole.”
